"I'm breaking free but i'm stuck in a police car", “i swear that I’m not drunk and i’m not taking drugs” and several similar lines talk about the feeling of recognition and fame they were feeling at the same time as the feeling of being trapped, since because of their image, many created rumors that they used drugs, and more. the chorus is a reference to how they are sexualized. It has nothing to do with the Italian stereotype
It’s been years since I’ve liked multiple songs of a band, and Måneskin is it! Every song of theirs I hear I really like. AND YES, people just don’t want to do anything to solve homelessness.
There's a punk song (kool kids) on their new album rush that just come out where damiano says 'Spent two months in UK but I don't drink gin, check my origins mate' so i guess is nothing personal against americans but he really doesn't like gin lol
Definitely a connection to the U.S. culture, which they said was shocking to them when they spent 3 months writing in L.A. They said it was fake and that people only speak to others when they can get something out of them. Any drink with the word Russian in it, they would have avoided due to their pro-Ukraine song and stance, even if those drinks aren't necessarily Russian. I love this song, the video, the vibe, and the entire RUSH! album. Thanks for the review.

A lot of cocaine, too and other recreational drugs, also very heavy. River Phoenix didn't die at the Viper Room for an heart attack. I am Italian and I rarely drink wine and I hate coffee. So I get angry when some foreigner hints I drink bottles of wine and cups of coffee all day. But I don't find the statement of Måneskin too far from the reality. I have travelled to California and los angeles for 10 consecutive years in september. So don't worry. Måneskin didn't think to those like you who doesn't drink maybe because you are just a Mormon living in Pennsylvania who doesn't drink alcohol at all. Of course you are not, just kidding. Måneskin have passed months touring USA and especially stayed in California a lot of time, also to record the album. I bet they know what happens in Los Angeles and West Hollywood, at the parties. I have also travelled many times in California and in Los Angeles and, even though I am not a party guy, believe me. I believe some thousands of gallons of various alcoolic beverages are drank each week.
