I think it'd be great to react to this again after the election landslide in favor of Trump. These were true believers. Trump doesn't matter - he's an abrassive entertaining way to speak a simple message, which as it turns out, the vast majority of the country agrees with. County by county, it's the entire United States versus a handful of dense cities.

You´re talking about the Ex-Bassist of BVB, Ashley Purdy - he was accused of assaulting several women, but these allegations were actually proven as wrong. He was already kicked out of the band before due to other personal reasons. And Johnny Depp... Well, he actually won the trial, so... I personally don´t think he sucks as a person at all, but ok. That´s your opinion 😅. The singer of BVB is a big fan of everything Sweeney Todd related (not only the movie, also the original musical), to make a video like this was his dream for many years. BVB is just meant to be heavier music, Andy´s living his dream with the band. They have quite some metal songs, but also more metalcore, rock or softer ones. And yes, their main audience are highschool girls and young women - I´m one of them 😂. It´s not hard to guess why they´re appealing to that kind of audience apart from them making great music 😅, but they also have a male audience of real fans (not only boyfriends who don´t want to be there, because they know that their girl isn´t anymore interested in them when Andy´s performing on stage 😬). I also like Motionless in White and quite some other even more heavy bands, but I personally don´t think that BVB aren´t heavy enough - Andy´s voice is just not the "typical" metal voice (unless he´s screaming or growling).

hiii. rita here, the vocalist. the first iteration of the track was "Stamina (club edit)" I wrote and composed that track in 2023. I write all of my own lyrics, and share composing and production roles with my bandmates. On tour we interpreted that studio track as a live track, went home and recorded it, and made the live version the title track. we are about to release an album, and "Bet You Do." and "Stamina" are the two singles, with one more about to be released very soon, with the full album dropping next year. The album has a lot more substance and depth than "stamina", which is a very self aware campy banger. I called it my "deep fried Twinkie". self referential and doubling down on a horny party vibe. its fun! and when it plays at shows you can barely hear my voice cuz everyones screaming along. a little blurb about the lyrics: "in a world that wants to fuck you so hard you cry, fuck back". these lyrics are empowering to me because it allows me to take control of the narrative - that im in control, that im not the one getting used. the aggressive, emasculating nature of the lyrics resonate with everybody - gay straight lesbian. funnily enough, this track has really become a lesbian anthem. and we are from Chicago! we are super inspired by French electronica, Chicago house, Detroit techno, trip hop, dark wave, 80's synth wave, 90's industrial, 00's indiesleaze, etc. we're very genre agnostic, and that will really shine thru on the LP. hope you stick around to get the full PG experience, and definitely come out to a show sometime. we put on one hell of a performance. thank you for the review!

i am actually from germany and this song was on the radio between 2006/2007 but it was the only song from him that got played on the radio and then he dipped. but i think he got a record label in germany and just did his own music for fun

Ian has bipolar disorder and DID, and all his music and artistry are based on that. He plays different characters in his music videos, which are very real to him.
