@MrStaybrown every item has a working load limit, synthetic or metal, and a tow truck driver can estimate the resistance per axle. In this case the gradient has transfered a lot of weight to rhe front axle from the rear. The front axle on this truck weighs 5k lbs, the tires are on soft dirt and the frame is mired, I would guess 100 percent of front axle weight plus rear to front transfer of approx 1k lbs , so it's about a 6k lb pull. Could go up to 9k depends on how wedged the body is tuck. State police usually require improved plow steel 6x19 wire rope
