Have you noticed the jump range is the same between the stock and the rambler?
Not surprised. Only thing different is the amount of fuel and suit locker
@@Seanenanigans Nope, fuel is identical between the two... those increased fueltanks need bigger fuel tanks...
@@kobodera8261 CIG now say they have fixed the fuel tank issue in latest patch... We'll see.

The rambler doesn't seem to be able to do much. But if it's your first ship in game then you can haul some boxes around or a bit of cargo I guess. I definitely would buy it over my first ship, The Aurora LN back in 2013

Will a Hoverquad fit inside a Rambler? I'd also love to see a side-by-side comparison of a base Cutter vs Scout 'will it fit' test with the smallest vehicles. The Scout looks like it has more space in the back, and less space in the living area than a base Cutter, so I'm curious if that little extra space in the back of a Scout allows it to carry vehicles like an X1, HQ, or STV more comfortably than the base Cutter.
The rambler can fit a hoverquad, x1 (though bit well because of the gun), ptv, svt, mule and roc (with the rear ramp down)
The scout has the longest cargo area of all variants, but the most narrow(because of its size 2 components), making using the svt difficult and making sure the roc can’t fit inside.

I don't remember the leaks saying any cargo was shielded, only players speculating. It carries 2scu in the same way the Scout does.
That was a very old leak, from before they had finalized even the base al cutter and when the ship was alled the expedition, but it does not have any shielded cargo. And that’s good because then we’d have even less space in the cargo area 😬

why in the flying F would you try to fit a ROC?!?
First of all, a viewer specifically asked for this, second I want to know if you can transport a roc only planet side without QT, and now I know, we know which one can do the job.

You said there would be a surprise in the video. Was it the fact that the Rambler can fit a ROC on the ramp, exactly the same as the Base does?
Why wouldn’t you? It’s literally such an effective way to go mining. I do it all the time. I once spent a week mining in the cutter, bed logging out. Because of how the roc’s lights are set up as well as the cutter’s ceiling, the roc fits as much into the rambler is it does the base version…

Copy base model, make minor changes ot the base design. move some stuff around... Slap a new name on it and sell it with LTI to get as many as possible to buy it...
