- A very cold and rather uneventful afternoon spent at Carpenders Park on the West Coast Mainline where we see plenty of services from Avanti West Coast, London Northwestern Railway, Southern and London Overground.
Carpenders Park was built and opened by the London & North Western Railway in 1914 but was only open for 3 years before closing in 1917, mostly due to the war and the lack of custom the station.
It did however reopen in 1919 but was only to be served by the London Electric Railway which would eventually become the London Underground.
My next station will be Kings Sutton on the Chiltern Mainline.

Any video where 390/119 appears is my favourite video
Ok...
GEIIIIIIIIIIII
Damn! I never knew the catenary on the WCML is so clean. You're a lucky fella.
When you say squeaky brakes, maybe you need to be reminded of the horror of 331s lol. Or the new 196s on test.
Very nice video 👍
Brilliant video mate the super voyagers were 221109 and 221103 as I saw these at New Street 👍
Love the new London Overground class 710s. Also very spectacular Avanti Pendolinos.
The 710s look stunning.
They do look stunning but they should be a 5car train
Yes they do
710s are the only aventra I like lol
@@michaellittlejohns7968 I agree
If i may be honest Jarred. I don't know how there are critics who don't appreciate your humorous approach to your clips because i do get a bit of a laugh when you add humour to your clips. Hence why i like them. But then again those who criticise your clips are jealous.
Another good video buddy from Alan Shelley
Great video
Another terrific video, enjoyable to watch. Stay safe and keep up the great work
Fantastic video! I really enjoyed this :)
Excellent railway video as always Tornado, great range of trains filmed as well as the location.
Great video.
Another great video my friend.Carpenders park is one of my favouret stations.
Cool video despite no freight appearing. Glad you got to see a Class 319 unit powering along. :)
Great video Tornado922
Did u notice that 390137 had the pantograph up on the third carriage and not up on the end of the ninth carriage
If you like 319's then come back to Liverpool. The bad news is that from December 13th there will only be one TPE 68 a day out of Liverpool at the unearthly time of 06.54! They are essentially going to be working York - Scarborough shuttles. Good video and nice to have a bit of the legendary Tornado waffle!
And not one wanted a clean lol. Great video again sir. Your dedication is as always appreciated. Keep up the sterling work. Stay safe out there
Do NOT say stay safe.
@@BobaShakeMallow ok. Stay awful...
Fantastic video nice to see 390119 make the return (you saw 390119 at Bushey station). Can you do trains at Wembley stadium on the CML pls.
Long live the 319's. They are mega and yeah I agree they aren't used as much which is a shame but not to worry. Great variety you had as always :-)
At least they will be used in Wales and on GWR!!
@@nightelectricityuniverse7349 I heard the class 769 has began their services in South Wales.
@@RickyNowis nice how it retains its thank-spankingly British Motors for BREL plus a few engines
Other amazing video legend tornado
xd love that banter
LOOOOOOL completely fault free
When I can safely travel to London, this section of the Overground will be top priority
I think that the last time you were at carpender's park was 5/4/18. The reason. It came up on my UA-cam page and yes. I can hear it was a bit blowy for you on 24/10/20.#weathernotkind
To cut the wind noise from your videos, put a "Dead Cat" on your microphone. A dead cat is a big furry thing that goes over your microphone and cuts the wind noise from the videos
Have you not considered getting a lav mic or something to deal with the wind?
10:44 the 350 is 350107
I really prefer the new darker 350 livery ,
Do u have the ATP in train sim 2021
This station is near Watford/Hemel Hempstead if I am correct
The London Overground Class 710/2s running on the Euston-Watford DC Line are very nice. As well the Class 378s.

Are u at Hatch End today
What route was that 319 running from to London Euston?
Since it was a single unit it was probably an ECS from Bletchley to Camden Sidings.
It's Disappointing That There Is No Freight.
Especially Lots By Freightliner
Do chelmsford next tornado

Don't u mean 24/10/20 as the title says u where spotting during lockdown but I know you wouldn't
Not to sound dumb but when did latest lockdown finish?
@@georgedowns4034 05/11/20 to 02/12/20
@@samsplanestrains5386 oh yeh so probs a spelling mistake cus it is unlike Jarred to break the rules
@@georgedowns4034 that's wat I thought as I know for a solid fact he wouldn't break the rules
@@georgedowns4034 Yes it will be a typo which I’m sure Jarred will correct
You can just say Euston
I'm the first comment great video
Well done
No one cares
@@levichalcraft8702 calm down dude. Who ever is first still counts
Arnoldspotting videos is being first really important? Also I’m not a dude
No one actually cares you probably didn’t even watch the video
Great footage shame about the constant comentarry just ruined it.
Then go to other channels where there is no commentary. There is plenty. Personally I prefer commentary as it makes video more enjoyable I think
Soon when your in Birmingham, you'll see the horrible class 196's
They look nice. The brakes are quite atrocious though! CAF needs to test the sound of their brakes before putting them into service.
