Minnesota did get better. D-Lo was a chemistry issue and he would’ve left at the end of the season, leaving Minnesota with nothing. And seeing how Minnesota is already over the cap, losing D-Lo’s expiring contact actually doesn’t free up any cap space to replace him. Conley isn’t a better player (talent wise) than D-Lo but he’s a better fit for the system, allows Ant to dominate the scoring and most importantly Conley actually knows how to play with Gobert. This is definitely a win for Minnesota
@@rastarecordsent disagree. Lakers Don't need a third Star. This deadline is exactly what they need. A good 3rd option and depth. Hope they resign Russell and Ruy in Free Agency and just look for better role players. Also let's be honest if Dame hits the trading market, there's teams that are way better and can offer way more than the Lakers
The Rockets don't know what they're doing on the court and they don't want Wall to play, so yeah I think his career isn't gonna recover which is sad for me as a Wizards fan.
There’s some weird takes. Do you consider the length remaining on the contracts when you consider winners and losers? You should, as the teams are trading contracts, not players..,
Tbh I think the Nets are winners. Dinwiddie, O’Neal, Norwa, Johnson and Curry are all solid that they can flip later or keep.
The fact that the wolves weren’t going to resign Russell for the money he would have wanted makes this trade a W for them. You are just seeing Russell’s current offensive output as the wolves trading away a star. In reality they sold really high on him and maxed the return.
@@jayus2033 hell no. He's too ball dominant and the spacing would be horrible with butler and bam. They need some size and a proper four or 5. Signing Love would help them since he can space the floor and rebound it can help bam.
I'm not happy with the amount they got back from Harden, Kyrie and KD leaving but I am glad they have tons of trade pieces. Mikal with a decent end of season can easily be flipped for 2 or 3 1sts
I don't think they should trade Mikal. The Nets don't have any of their picks currently so might as well try and stay in the middle ground for the next few years and at least give their fans a fun team to watch
@@OK-yy6qz but that is not what teams want to do. They want to be either rebuilding or being a contender. No team wants to be a middle ground team for years.
The Nets were the biggest winners. They got rid of a headcase in Irving, saving a boatload of money not extending him. They got rid of an aging and injury prone KD. Everyone talks like he's 26 or something, he's 34 for heavens sakes. His game and his body are on a downtrend. The Nets fleeced the Suns and Mavs. Without those 2 in the lineup jacking up 50 shots a game the team today looked really well balanced. And they added real defenders and future picks. I say the Nets still make the playoffs. They just need to use the picks plus assets to add the right pieces for next season. I love how Tsai didn't take any crap from those 2 whiners. He bided his time and made the moves when the offer was right.
With the J rich trade the spurs basically turned trading Derrick white last year into Blake Wesley, Romeo Langford, devonte graham, and four second round draft picks. Pretty good for an above average role player.
Why did the Nuggets give up Bones? They don't even have Campazzo any more? What's the plan? Do you think they have their eyes set on a point guard from the buyout market?
