So far, I think is the best Fishing Knot Tool I own. However the Instructions are all in Chinese, so I made this Video showing how to use it.
P.S. My hands are all thumbs when it comes to tying small hooks to fishing line and this tool really helps me.
    P.S. Happy Fishing 🎣
🐟 I have a few more videos on the way, showing tying a fish hook on a line, using the various tools and gadgets, I come across and buy.

@Born & Died in Tucson I'm not sure who makes them, and it seems there really hard to find now.
I had a look for you, and found one on eBay Australia.

I've tried it too. The knot making works well, however, I find that the metal clips that hold the line have sharp edges and actually damage the line. The line easily breaks at those points when under stress. So, you get a reliable knot, but an unreliable line. This may not be the case if you lift the clips and carefully place the line under them, however that complicates the entire tying process.

Is more of a hassle than just tying the knot.

      Hi Ben
For the price, you can't go wrong, that's for sure.
This device is much easier to use than the first hook tying device I bought.🎣

Where do you like to go fishing and what do you target?

    • @GarryPurcell
      @GarryPurcell  6 років тому +1

Gippsland Lakes, Eagle Point, is where were heading for a few days in March,
      Mainly chase Bream, Garfish, Flathead.🐟
I have printed out a few lures, so I'll be curious to see how it goes with them. I might do a video, showing how bad I am at catching fish. haha.
P.S. I also have another Hook Tying device on order. This one is a battery type, so I'll put it through its paces when it arrives.🙂

That's responsibly close to where I live. I'm in Glengarry.
We go to Marlo quite a bit, it's great break fishing there.

Your around the half way mark for me.
      I'm located in Endeavour Hills.
P.S. We normally stop at Rosedale, Latrobe River and take a break from driving.
There seem to be Very Large Carp in the river, I've seen lots of large scales on the banks.
P.S. My Caravan photo Icon I use, was taken at that reserve.😉

This is not the best out of all the knot tying devices I tested.
P.S. This contraption is not designed to tie flies, like the device you recommended.
