My gosh, I remember back when I was in grade.....4 or 5, I used to make doodles of ratchet and clank weapons and characters. I would fill pages and PAGES of my own ratchet and clank weapons and I would actually email the guys at insomniac games to pitch them my idea LOL. Of course, they can't accept ideas from outside the company. I was pretty bummed by the rejection, but that was a beginning of a spark of my art career! Today, I'm slowly making my portfolio to become their concept art position. My dream is coming closer and closer by each day!
i had a similar dream for some time as it was the first game i played and got me into the whole culture of it since i was really young, so im interested did you make it in? and do you have some place where i can check out the stuff you do?

In my opinion, along with the well built story, the beautiful scenery of each world, each worlds unique soundtrack and the graphics alone, with the arsenal size and everything else, this is in my opinion the best game that PlayStation 2 ever saw!
+RatcheT2497 honestly this was back when insomniac knew how to churn out brilliant games on a regular basis so they probably felt they weren't risking anything by showing beta footage, heck I've played one of the levels when it was still technically in beta; I had a copy of OPSM2 (Official PlayStation Magazine 2) which came with a demo disc that had a demo of R&C2. the demo contained one of the spaceship battles (can't remember which one) and all the missions from planet Dobbo (only differences I could see were a missing cutscene (probably to prevent spoilers given the nature of the cutscene) and a different colour sky
