The casting abilities and ingenuity of old implements of days gone by are really impressive when you stop and think about it. I had to smile when you swirled your hands around in your well earned bounty.....ha haa. You two stay warm down there ,sounds like you may be getting a little chill heading your way.
I'm always enthralled with the craftsmanship of the "old times." It's such a shame that we've lost that. Such amazing things were created! Very happy with the dry corn... far exceeded my expectations! Yes, we've had quite the winter blast this week!
Amazing harvest and amazing tool from so long ago. It puts in perspective if you took small acreage and put it to good use how much feed you could produce.
So glad we went with an antique one versus a new one (thanks to a wonderful consultation with Mrs. Golden Acre 😂)! Agreed, it is promising that you could genuinely pursue animal feed on small acreage.
Neat! Take it one more step and grind it. They’ll consume way more of it and get way more nutrition out of it. You can find electric grinders or manual ones that you can hook an old electric drill to.

Nothing satisfies the soul like a job well done.
Running your fingers through that corn was like Midas counting his gold.😍
Isn't that the truth! Haha, it definitely feels as valuable as gold with these chickens' appetites 😂❤
What a brilliant tool and reusing from the past something that already exists, rather than just buying new 👍👌🐓
Couldn't agree more! ❤
great job!!! Love those old tools and machines!
Thanks! I love all the old things and antiques as well! So nostalgic!
75 lbs! Thats no small amount, Congrats! Also, beautiful sky video at the end of this. Stay warm!
Thank you! It was definitely a great harvest!
What a nifty gadget, it amazes me that someone thought this idea up, and so simple in its use. Great find 😉🥰
It truly is! I just love these antiques and having the chance to get a little look into the way things were done in days gone by. 💕
Wow! That's a lot more corn than it looked like in the crib. I love the antique sheller, too.
Yeah, it was really surprising!
That was worth all the work you had put in...
I so agree!

Congratulations!!! Next year should be even better. Looks easier to do than the wheat is.
Agreed! I'm so excited to see how much we can get next year! It is definitely easier than wheat! 😂

Thanks for the tip, Braden! 💕

Love it ❤
Thank you! ❤
My question is how did that Rooster get to be on the roof? 😂😂😂
6:50
He actually flew up there from the ground! 😮😂 Never seen chickens that can fly as well as these guys!
Did you use tiktok?
Currently, only on UA-cam, but in the future I may start a Tiktok!
