I'm so happy you're on the mend! Take it very SLOW! I had the same type of surgery about 20 years ago.... You can recover fully...but give your body LOTS of time to fully heal.🙏💜

I hope the best recovery for you, my wife passed away after surgery 1/2 of her colon and 1/2 of her large intestine. She went from 165 pounds to 89 pounds in 6 months being 6 feet 3 inches it was skin and bones. Keep up the good work
I am overjoyed to see you back on the channel! I don't engage in any social media, so I wondered what happened. Like you, I had unplanned major surgery about 3 months ago. It has been frustrating not to be able to put my hands in the garden soil. I totally agree that our food system is broken. I have used my recovery time to reread "Nourishing Traditions" by Sally Fallon and many other things that argue for the consumption of real whole food. I wish you only the best as you recover. Your strength and beauty are an inspiration to all of us 🩷

i feel ya sister. i had a bowel obstruction, emergency surgery lost 4 ft of bowel and had to repair 3 major hernias at the same time. took 2 surgeries over 3 days. still recuperating like 18 months later. since they went through the muscle wall be careful lifting stuff. you will b more prone to get a hernia now. be safe.
