When I met my friends they tried 2 trick me with a box of these ones. I knew. But I savagely grabbed a random one. I got vomit. It was really bad. But then I got grass it was actually pretty good.

Fun fact:
Did you know that the vomit flavor was actually meant to be a 3 cheese flavor. But it tasted so bad they decided to make it vomit flavor.
Hopefully that helped you get over you fear of the horrible vomit flavor.

I’ve got emetophobia, too. It completely sucks. Watching this was hard, but it helps that Matt was so up front with it. I was scared of anyone finding out my secret for YEARS. I’ve only recently gotten comfortable with admitting it to people.

I’m a little confused, and I don’t mean to be mean or offensive, but what is the logic behind hiding it? At least to me, having a fear of vomit seems very normal even if I don’t have it. Again, I’m not trying to be mean or dismissive, I just don’t follow.
If you’re able to explain and okay with it, I’d like to understand what made you so scared of others knowing.
@@Essendiinanis I appreciate the respect in your question! So, the short answer is that people are cruel. I also didn’t want anyone to think I was weird because I have a panic induced fight-or-flight response to something most people don’t have an issue with. In the past, people have bullied me about it or made fun of me. I’ve had people pretend to vomit around me just to see my reaction - they think it’s hilarious, and they get mad that I have the audacity to be angry about it. I found it was just better to keep it to myself until I knew I could trust someone. Now, all my loved ones know and they protect me from it however they can, whenever they have to. I’ve also been working on uncovering the root of it in therapy, which has helped diminish my fear. It’s not gone, but it’s improving. 😊

This video is pretty old now, but every time I watch it, it makes my heart warm and is still to this day one of my favorite videos. This video was the first time I found out I wasn't the only person who had emetophobia, because when I first watched this, I didn't know anyone else who had it or even the name of the fear. It really helped me to feel less weird about having it, and now I get to be that person that helps those who also have the fear but don't know much about it. The video itself is such a fun video, and the animal sounds over Ryan gagging made it much easier for me to watch, and Brian not knowing if he got a good or bad jellybean was so so funny. Overall, a really nice video.
