    Very nice ride. I couldnt be happier with my 96 vt1100c2 ace. Lucky enough to have it in the royal purple and black livery.

    Nice seeing big cruisers actually being ridden like a proper motorcycle. Using the bike for what it was intended to do.
    If I could find a nice, original 1100ACE - not one that's had the back end hacked off, or with an obnoxious exhaust, I would buy it. They are such a nice, well-balanced bike. Honda has always built their bikes as a whole package, not just engine or styling, but everything works together.
    Spectacular road too.

    Such a beautiful ride! I love my VT1100 it rides the back roads so well plenty of hill power glides smooth through the corners such a smooth bike one of the best cruisers I have ridden that wasn’t set up for touring!

    Thank you for sharing such a scenic drive with good filming and steady pace. I own a Honda 2003 Shadow Sabré VT1100 which likes taking trips into Sequoia and Yosemite.

      Beer Hound's Beer Reviews! I ride A VT 1100 I ride with lots of guys on Harley’s and I have no trouble keeping up unless we are flat out on the highway wide open and even than I’m not far behind! Even riding double they keep up fine!

    What kind of mount are you using to mount the camera to your chest?

    • @MOTORBIKEvideo
      @MOTORBIKEvideo  10 років тому

      I use the original GoPro Chest Mount. I have it under my jacket so only the camera itself is outside the jacket, sticking out through partly open zipper.

      Hi. We start on the Highway 9, which runs from Kristiansand to Haukeli 235km (Setesdal). Our start is 160km from Kristiansand at Rysstad, then we soon cross over the montains to the western vaaley called Sirdal.

    Attention North American Cruiser Riders - of all brands!
    Here is video proof that your bikes are actual motorcycles - then can go around corners at respectable speeds.
    It also shows that it's perfectly OK to dress appropriately to ride a cruiser. Makes you look like you actually know what you are doing.
    These guys are also clearly enjoying themselves. Instead of expending energy trying to look like a tough guy, which only makes look miserable and scowling. Motorcycling is fun - at least it was the last time I checked, so it's OK to look like you're having a good time.
    On a side note, that VT1100C ACE model the camera guy is riding, is still one of the best cruisers you can get. Those two Harleys & even the Suzuki are more powerful, but the Honda is way lighter than either Harley & better balanced and much better steering qualities than the Suzuki.
    I will add one to my garage one day, if I can find one that's not been too beaten up.

      The Easel Rider I acutely think this is a Honda Shadow Spirit 1100c! But I might be wrong! The ACE had the tank mounted speedometer.

    • @briannoke4880
      @briannoke4880 4 роки тому

      The spirit is more like a cross between a Harley Sportster and a Dyna!
