Lady decides to try talking her way around the truth instead of letting her attorney spin her story in a way that might work better. When they talk fast and continuously, apologizing after every statement they make, they make it REAL easy to see they're hiding something. She's an opioid addict and probably still using. Jail will not be fun for her.
In Germany, defendants are actually PERMITTED to lie to the court. Also: the swearing in of a witness (except the defendant) is generally optional. Whether the presiding judge believes the story or not, is another matter.

@@97TJ Agreed. Of the Michigan judges on Lawtube, you really don't want to mess with the likes of Judge Simpson and Judge DiSanto. I'm not mentioning Judge Bryant because she tends to exaggerate with her reactions. Judge Washington and Judge Middleton seem a bit too soft sometimes.

That chick lies when she opens her mouth. When the judge asks what she does in the day she says she housecleans. That was not good enough for her she went on to say she actually owns a cleaning company. The judge should have asked her when was the last time she paid taxes, he would have caught her in another lie.

I don't understand why everyone (with no experience mind you) thinks every faint is fake. Like seriously, it doesn't get them out of facing consequences, it's actually quite difficult to fake.
