Jaquelin, this looks amazing and I love the colors! Perfect timing for me to see, as I'm doing my first ever mural right now. It's always great to see the techniques other artists use, and I've really learned a lot from this. I would definitely be interested to know more on your business approach as well, especially with quoting clients, etc. I'll be posting my work on my channel soon... already made some WIP shorts about my first mural. This came out beautiful!! I can imagine that wall texture was a pain to work with haha. I'd love a video on the business/background side of mural painting, that sounds so interesting.
If i saw that anywhere id instantly want to take a closer look at the place. The palm trees really added a frame to it!

Hi! This is amazing, and I’m so impressed that it was your 3rd mural ever. I’m a painter and I’ve never done a mural before but I have an opportunity to create one for my town, in a building roughly the width of this one in your video, but a bit taller. I was wondering if you had any recommendations for a type of scaffolding or if you use a ladder, and also- given what you said here about gradients- if you have any tips for blending (like what you have in the shoulder and face of your character in the mural). Do you work wet on wet to try to achieve that or did you go color by color? Thanks so much for sharing this amazing process video!

I’m about to start a larger mural with some friends what were some of the more beginning steps you would say for preparing the wall like do you wash it or rinse it off at all as well as priming it ?
