Gather round kids and toast some marshmallows, its time for a killbot story
“Toast some moshmallows” \m/
Goatwhore's vocalist is one of the coolest guys ever!
Saw them with Gwar (last show before Blothar checked out) and thought GW was insane. Saw them again opening for incantation and after the show I got to talk to Louis and grab a picture at their merch booth. He talked about Louisianan VooDoo with a few others.
Great video!
Ben in his name I think, he's awesome, met him when I saw them open for Samhain about 10 years back
I love when bands are able to turn me a fan after seeing them
Same, that’s how I came to love obituary
I dismissed ska and ska punk as a whole until I saw the Suicide Machines live and now I can't get enough.
@@eddiewramos i wasn't huge into pop punk until my friend showed me simple plan and we saa them live with sum 41. I loved in too deep and still waiting as a kid but man. Yea ik call me a poser but it's like NIN- i love the relatability to the songs
@@Grim_reviews no way! Simple Plan was my first show ever! I got see in 2005 on my birthday
@@eddiewramos i saw them last year on the blame canada tour with a mate of mine! My first show was Motley crue and Alice Cooper. 11 years old and i fell in love with Alice cooper after that
The bit about the after party with your girlfriend made me laugh so hard
Saw exodus last night. During a lesson in violence as the vocalist said "they run from the fire in my eyes" he was looking right into my eyes and throwing up horns. Probably the greatest moment of my life
i wish i saw the farewell slayer tour but i didn’t know what slayer was and i was also too young but still. SLAYERRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!
I saw Anthrax, Black Label Society, and Exodus last Saturday. Had someone spill an entire beer on my new Exodus shirt, and some dude dressed as Jesus got carried out before BLS took the stage and was arrested, I didn't see what he did. Also Charlie Benante wasn't on drums when Anthrax played for some reason.
Hm, sounds awesome, other than the spill. I’m going to see sepultura with Kreator and death Angel and then I’m going to see lamb of god for the second time with Pantera.🤘
That Jesus arrest video just pop up in my feed
At least he got some moshing in during Exodus
I just saw them on Tuesday. Showed up to the venue early and was front row for exodus and black label society.
@@Enfield15 I want to go see Kreator, Sepultura and death angel, but I’m coming back from the uk 2 days before, but I am (hopefully) going to see lamb of god and pantera
@@undersscore6930 hey man I’m sorry to hear you will be missing them, still sick your going to see lamb of god and Pantera, I’ve seen lamb of god and I am also going to see a Pantera and lamb of god and I’m pretty excited about, the venue is also really close to my house, it’s like a 7 minute drive.
Saw Obituary last night, probably the best live band I've seen. Crowdsurfed 4 times and got my jaw fucked up in the pit
Obituary’s always a great time
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack opinions on FFDP
Hell yeah excited for the new video
16:11 lol I remember that same clip from your video titled "Bands I see every time they come through" from 2018. I still watch that video a lot!
killbot flexing his bone encounter is a big surprise
I mean, in the first Concert Stories, I was talking about big-tittied middle-aged women at Black Sabbath!
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack you are right
12:34 My man!!! 🤘🏽😅😂🤣
I had tickets for the 2020 Ministry tour. When KMFDM and FLA were no longer on the bill I lost interest in going. I ended up selling my tickets. The last time I saw KMFDM was back in 2005.
Me too, I had tickets and when the Sin stuff came out, I was apprehensive… even though they said he was out of the band a year later. Then FLA said they got dropped without being told and I sold my tickets.
Always a good day when killbot uploads🔥🔥🔥
i love hearing your concert stories
Wicked story’s man
Its always a good day when Killbot uploads a new video, especially a new concert stories. Thanks for making this video.
The best stories i have are talking to the guys from inquisition, seeing teratish in someone's basement, riding the bus home after being painted by gwar and the singer from havok remembering me from another show.
Ok...I enjoyed watching this. Actually first time watching your vids. I'm 51yrs old and use to go to shows weekly. I live between Houston, San Antonio, Corpus Christi and Austin and had a plethora of shows to choose from. I also ran a small fanzine and was able to get on guest lists, interview bands, hang with them. This reminded me of a number of shows I've experience. Keep of this great work. Will check out other vids from you in time.
Fav memorable shows...
First show MOTLEY CRUE...jumped from second floor and ran to stage.
Riot broke out at a DEATH concert.
Seeing GWAR and being drenched in 40° weather.
Seeing NEUROSIS on LSD
Seeing SEPULTURAs first US tour. Following tour saw them three days in row.
Saw TYPE O NEGATIVE 4 times
Taking my then 16yr old daughter to see SLAYER
Too many more. Again great job and enjoy those shows!
Sounds like fun times! Thank you for tuning in, plenty to explore. This channel is recreational
Nice misfits shirt
Went to see Gwar and Goatwhore when they came around last summer. Bumped knuckles with Ben from Goatwhore after the show and got soaked in blue and red. My son and I had a great bonding moment that day. He even bought some patches and a shirt after the show. Gwar died his eye contacts red and he looked crazy on the drive home. We still have dyed shoes from that show. Good times. \m/
Always a fun time with Gwar. I think I’ve told one or two Gwar stories in each concert story video so far!
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack Also, I got one of those Sammy picks as well. Keep making killer content dude!
Grind on Killbot
My SLAYER story is at Mayhem Fest 2009 in Dallas. We were at the 2nd stage out in the parking lot next to the dirt track set up for Metal Mulisha. I was rocking out during Cannibal Corpse, headbanging and slight moshing with everyone around me. Even bumping into the guys in front of me. Well one of the metal mulisha guys came up to the fence directly in front of me and put his fist up for a bump. The group of dudes in front of me all said hi to the rider and then they turned around to leave. When they turned around, my jaw dropped. It was Tom, Kerry and Jeff. And these assholes were standing in front of me for at least half an hour. I was too dumbfounded to say anything as they walked away making their way through the crowd without any manager or security. That was cool
Ayyy I was at that Slayer farewell show in Charlotte. You are absolutely right about that heat, the car I was riding in overheated on the way there and also got a sunburn from being out in the field with no shade. Sorry to hear it had a rough start, but I would say your sacrifice was well worth it. Also, holy shit to getting Ghoul to do that video with you, that's awesome!
I loled at the look on your face in the photo of you getting a smooch by the band member. Your hair is beautiful.
A Killbot video, today is a good day
Killer colognes man! Some dude at mdf 2022 accused me of being a hipster/poser for wearing Yves Saint Laurent during demolition hammer’s set lol
Lol of course it was at MDF, from the pictures I saw it looked like half the attendees hadn’t showered in a week!
I also like Hugo and Nautica Blue, myself, though I haven’t worn them in years.
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack I’ll def check out those colognes too!
Yeah mdf was a great time but I won’t lie there were all the alchoholic unhygienic thrasher types there that you could think of 😂😂
I saw the story on Autopsy’s mosh pit… eww. Haha!
I saw Weedeater in Columbia, SC recently at New Brookland Tavern; all three members of the band smoked the same cigarette throwing it to each other
I've just checked some of your videos n we have alot in common, welldone, I'm going to see Carcass in May in the UK, can't wait bud
Aw yeah
I saw Thrill Kill Kult open for Ministry back in 2004 in San Antonio. TKK did "After the Flesh" Twice!
I love these concert stories
Love this guy's videos
always love a good killbot story
Wow
Its a good day when theres a new killbot video
Love your channel
GREAT STORIES BUDDY
Put on a pair of glasses and I swear you're the spitting image of weird al Yankovic!
Gracias
YESSS I WANTED A NEW ONE!!!!!
Keep up the good work
Amazing video
bro now im jealous because i am a massive wintersun fan and still have not seen them live
Your stories are cool to hear.
Awesome
GRIND ON MAN!!!
Woohoo, another upload!
I missed some of these tours flad to hear they were pretty cool
great video !
I partied with KMFDM in Ft Worth TX on their tour with Combi Christ. Great show. Went to the busses after the show. We had whiskey and weed to offer and we all had a great time.
Casey Orr (Beefcake) is from DFW and we've seen each other at multiple local shows. He's Always ready for a shot and a conversation. Really great dude.
Casey’s fucking great.. sounds like a fun night!
Yeah, I’m a fan. Dude is so fucking funny, and I think it’s just great how dedicated he is to metal, the bands, and the culture. And not just metal, but other great stuff too , like Lords Of Acid, The Cure, Sisters Of Mercy, Clan Of Xymox, & Skinny Puppy, etc.
If you sold patches, I'd get one
I got tons of stories too wish I remembered them as vividly like to the point of knowing my cologne xD Anyways good stories
Ya know, sometimes just looking at old sent emails or social media posts can jog your memory for that. It did for the Wintersun part!
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack I gotcha I can always tell a good one but you tell them like you wrote everything down. I love it!
Hahaha sick stories man!
I've never heard of Ghoul, so I'll hafta check them out.
Concert stories part 3 was your 333rd video
I can't wait to see Sepultura and Kreator this may
YO KILLBOTTT
Goatwhore was terrible and Sammy as usual was drunk, and was messy with his guitar. Never again when I see them live.
That ministry tour with the Melvins was an epic show one of the best stage performances by Al Jorgensen .
FUCHING METAL!🤘😝🤘
Did you see GWAR at the underground for the concert without Bloathar? I saw them there this year and it felt like they only had a handful of decapitations and I had to hold my shirt up in the air to get it really soaked
I did. Goatwhore stole the show
As much as I love what Gwar was, it's tough for me to see them these days. Back in high-school I went annually to see Gwar and grab at Oderus's big rubber feet, I've gone to see them twice post-Brockie and while it was still fun it's immediately followed by a pretty severe crash of depression for like 3 days afterward, and brockie dies all over again for me. So I try not to torture myself anymore. Glad to hear slayer was good for you, last time I saw them was the year before the farewell and they totally phoned it in. I was at that same ghoul/gwar tour in Sacramento, they killed it on that run. I got carcass as Doyle's replacement which was cool to me, I love Cancerslug alot but Alex Story is pretty much the only reason I go to see Doyle play (not that Doyle ain't a legend in his own right)
It’s a different band, definitely. But, I’d still rather live in a world with the current Gwar than a world with no Gwar. I never got to see them while Dave was around, where’s a time machine when you need one?
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack man I'm constantly trying to go back to those times myself, I'd go see so many bands if I had a time machine
Thing about bands… when I get obsessed with them, they really become a place and time. For instance, Exhorder. Saw them six times with the 2018 reunion lineup. Now Vinnie and Marzi are gone, they’re a different band now. Those times are gone forever, memories. I listen to Slaughter in the Vatican now and I just think of seeing them in New York.
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack same here man, Gwar will always define my coming of age years, just like I can throw on October rust and I'm instantly taken back to summer time in the 5th grade. There's even different Ghoul timelines I reminisce about with people who used to play. I saw Dino fill in as fermentor in my earliest shows, then the high school era with pej on drums (I forget who was dissector at the time), then the most recent era with Justin and Ben in those roles. Hoping the lineup is still the same this next show, it's been a few years since I left the bay area scene so I don't get to see them very often now
Man why did you have to do Chris Barnes like that 😂😂😂😂😂
16:54
I'm 12 I love your videos
FUCKING SLAYER
Ohh noo!
That feeling when you want to scream "FUCKING SLAYER" so loud that you clip the microphone.
That fuckin slayer at the end was magnificent
Yet another great vid from uncle Tony!
unfortunately, I don’t get to go out much metal shows because I don’t really have that many metal friends
I went to go see WASP in Dallas in November and it was probably one of the worst shows experiences I've had so far, huge traffic jam heading into the venue, finally got in as soon as Amored Saint started (Amored Saint was great btw) it was a small venue which was dangerously overcrowded to the point which you can't barley move and the exits were blocked off by people standing in front of it, by the time it was time for WASP to take the stage we waited an entire hour just to be told that they aren't allowed to perform and the show was getting shutdown by the fire Marshall due to being unsafe cause the venue (Amplified live) oversold way over the limited capacity
The official capacity was 1200 and it was said to be close to 3000 people there
Sorry for the long story I haven't talk about this situation since it happen and this video topic just felt like the right time to finally say something about it
Also there is footage of the show being shutdown on UA-cam if anyone is curious on how the rest of the crowd reacted
I'll take Corrosion of Conformity over KMFDM and Front Line Assembly every day of the week, that tour got an upgrade!
Saw them open for Gwar once. I like COC, that was just so far removed from what the tour originally was
me being from nc i wish there was more venues yk bc like there all in Raleigh or charlotte but thats just me bc i live in Kernersville
Greensboro and Durham have good venues, too. I also really love Cats Cradle in Carrboro
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack ive gon to the ritz to see exodus and the blind tiger to see rings of saturn
It's up to you whether you want to do it or not, but I'd like to see you make a video about metal bands you don't like. I remember in a live stream you said you don't like Metallica, but I'd like to see you elaborate more explaining why you don't like them and a list of other bands you can't get into.
4:58 lmfaooooooo
Hey what hair products do you use on your hair?
Aussie shampoo and conditioner, aphogee protein treatment, and aphogee leave-in conditioner. I wash it once a week, using a scalp scraper :)
Ngl Ministry, Melvins, and CoC was a better lineup because Ive always wanted to see Melvins and CoC play together
I like both bands, seen them both live… was just so far removed from the original tour that I didn’t care anymore. I really wanted to see Front Line.
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack That was my dad's take too. Idk it was still a stacked enough lineup to miss seeing Sunless at a local show
I went to that tour and it was surprisingly fun
I remember Melvins taking pretty long to start
That was kind of you.
I’m early I commented within the 2 hours of the vid being published
Lol i got a funny story about when i saw cannibal corpse dark funeral and another metal band i cant remember the name of sorry in Manchester in april i crowdsurfed during hammer smashed face fell into the moshpit nopped outa it fast then went for round 2 n recordedd myself crowdsurfing it was fucking awesome i got to run past the stage and also i had to shield my girlfriend in the pits lmao i also love KMFDM i have symbols and xtort on cd they made me wanna get into making industrial style stuff cant wait to see em next time rhey come to the uk
After hearing “Living on a razors edge, balancing on a ledge…” for the seventh or eighth time I would’ve snapped. I love Maiden but that repetitive pre chorus can get old pretty fast. The artistic choice to switch the phrases around the third time through doesn’t help much either.
Also I guess it was “Raining Muff” after that show. Spending some “Seasons in the Clitoris” I see! I’m sure that poontang was Shown No Mercy! Hope she didn’t Die By The “Flesh Sword.” Okay I’ll stop…
Wait til you hear Chris Barnes version. I swear, he sounds like a bulldog gargling a razor…
Hahaha!
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack I did have a morbid curiosity to check that thing out after you mentioned it! Years ago I owned a copy of the first Graveyard Classics and from what I heard it’s only gone downhill from there.
The gwar show with nekrogoblikon and goatwhore. Nekrogoblikon was great, goatwhore was ok, but for some reason gwar wasn't that good for the show I went to either blothar forgot the words or the mic was cutting out
Oooohhh, so I have to ask knowing that you liked NeO. Have you listened yet to their new stuff? I honestly have high hopes myself from the singles but I am always open to hearing what other people think.
I liked what I heard so far. Omnium Gatherum is touring soon, they’re in the same category of metal I think
What do you think about TKK?
Love ‘em. “Let’s go, and take it to the street beat…”
\m/
I gotta ask, are you killbot or gorgor? Both?
I’m Tony! Lol
I saw Internal Bleeding a couple years ago (opening for Deicide & kataklysm) and halfway thru their closing song the lights went out. the band kept playing and i assumed it was a technical issue... after the show i ran into Chris Prevelis and said great show...as i said that, all the other members of IB swarmed around the sound guy screaming "FUCK YOU COME OUTSIDE WE'RE GONNA FUCK YOU UP" and i turned to Chris and was like "what's going on???" he was like "that asshole turned the lights off mid-song because we went over our settime, that's not his call - WE DONT PUT UP WITH THAT SHIT" hahaha. good times.
Saw the last day of that tour, in Spartanburg. Fun shit!
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttackI was at that show at Ground Zero! I got pics with Steve and Glen, plus got them to sign my postcard promoting Legion that I got in the mail back in 92.
You were murdered? How terrible! Did you ever get better? 😋
Man those concert stories are better than those concert I've been. You know when your country doesn't has that much metal scenes you see the same old bands that you saw multiple times except the well known such as helstar, rotting christ, obituary, riot v and even jag panzer will play tomorrow night which sucks because Thursday nights is not the best moment to go to watch a concert but Friday night's is more better and you see lots of people. Also manowar came last summer but they played for one hour which sucked but when scorpions and UFO came to play they performed 2-3 straight hours. Once I stalked the same girl who I watch her posts on social media with creepy black metal make ups and she wasn't that surprised cause she doesn't feel she want to be with someone but her behaviour was completely fake when you drink lots of packs of beer and smoking cigarettes like a drug dealer and thats why nobody wants cause she is creepy when she paints her face and everytime I go concerts in rock bars they always go to the toilet for crappy pics for social media or trying to do stupid things with their girl group friends. The concerts I've been there there not much of headbangs or mosh pits but dancing like posers in a gay night club
KMFDM was THE WORST band I ever had the unfortunate to meet, NIHIL tour ,I ask Sasha to sign my shirt & he screams in my face WHY!?! I gave away all my cds and 2 shirts
