Thank you for explaining that in English. I thought I would never understand it. Needed it so bad for the respiratory part of my nursing class. I might pass now. Again thanks 🙏🏽🙂📚📝
How does this only have 1k likes? I was searching for videos that explained everything clearly and I found this channel. I finally understand this concept. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
V: Ventilation Q: Perfusion VQ ratio: ratio of the amount of air that enters the lung vs the amount of blood perfused to the lung High VQ ratio: normal ventilation/poor perfusion e.g. PE Low VQ ratio: poor ventilation/normal perfusion e.g. atelectasis VQ mismatch occurs when the amount of air that enters the lung does not match the amount of blood perfused to the lung
1. See a doctor. I wish I could help you . Breathe in nose 123. out mouth 123456. I am not a doctor. Get some one to pat your back. GO TO A DOCTOR. Drink a lot of water. I hope you are well soon.

So clear! Glad I found this after hitting a dead end with so many other videos. Thanks!
V: Ventilation
Q: Perfusion
VQ ratio: ratio of the amount of air that enters the lung vs the amount of blood perfused to the lung
High VQ ratio: normal ventilation/poor perfusion e.g. PE
Low VQ ratio: poor ventilation/normal perfusion e.g. atelectasis
VQ mismatch occurs when the amount of air that enters the lung does not match the amount of blood perfused to the lung

Pls didn't get something well
You said low V/Q ratio can be seen when what?
Couldn't get past how your pencil somehow can change colors and then you switch to a marker for writing words
❤❤❤❤
Ideally V/Q should be 1 but human lungs is 0.8,so anything more than that is normal
