It may be cool, but is it worth the money? Like you said, I can use an interlock switch and just shut everything off manually that I don’t need, saving myself a lot of money!
Agreed. I live in Tampa and when Tampa electric is out so is my internet. I could power my router till the cows come home but when Teco is down so is spectrum. Thus rendering smart tech useless.
The Span website says these are the compatible batteries. Will it work with EG4 batteries or Big Battery Kong batteries? Tesla Powerwall FranklinWH Enphase IQ Battery1 LG Chem RESU2 SolarEdge Energy Bank2
Looks great its about time the computer programmers started applying their tech to other home applications. Now if they could just be not so greedy and make this affordable to most of us. Remember what really got solar going was its cost going down.......and i think that a computer controlled device with an app is essentially old tech just looking for a new market.
$3,500 + shipping + taxes + installation (which will probably be a doozy of a bill). Thanks for the information.
