    Cutting out green tea first thing in the morning has been a key for me, drinking dandelion tea instead. I used licorice from Vimergy and slippery elm tabs for two weeks also and the reflux has subsided. This has allowed me to have mid-morning coffee mocha as a reward. Thank you for your advice.

    Chocolate, cold drinks, fried foods, cheese, desserts and cream were literally my favorites before I got stomach issues. I haven’t had iced drinks and ice cream for a year now and oh the pain when I see my friends eat it. :( I just wanna be normal again, I wanna eat these foods again. I wish I was smarter about my stomach a couple years ago, I would’ve been perfectly fine. But oh well, just wish I will improve. Thanks!

    Wonderful video. I was dealing with Gerd 5 years ago and it took time for me to heal. I was 2.5 years without medication and eating nice but my reflux came back last December and I had to start over again. Painful first 2 months but You’re right it takes time to heal. I tried to stay calm but I so difficult 😥. Family support is crucial. Thanks for the tips they are awesome

    Hi thank you for sharing your wonderful video your video really makes me calm alot i have 2 years of acid reflux and I really lose weight so much thats really saddens me, but after watching your video i suddenly have hope that i will be heal through this.     Tomorrow it will be two week my dr told me I had acid reflux, my symptoms were a chronic chocking cough, itchy throat, hard to breath I'm healing now and I'm so happy I have eliminated alot of trigger foods

    In my case, acid reflux increases during night. It causes allergic cough and sneezing early morning.

      Thanks for your comment! yes, this can definitely happen to me sometimes as well! the acid can irritate the lining of your throat and nasal cavities. I hope you find relief! xo

    Thank you love your videos they’re the best I’ve found on UA-cam re reflux! I ended up trying probiotics with enzymes and taking a walk after every meal as much as possible, I’ve had huge improvement. I’m scared of the herbs somehow still lol but just wanted share in case anyone else curious to try also. I am still healing so not there yet but made big strides! I’m going to try to slowly go vegan as I’ve been slowly eating less n less meat also. I’ve heard great things about vegan diet healing gut. Cant wait to be able eat tomatoes n citrus someday again.

    If acid reflux can be caused by low or high acid, how are the the same triggers getting both?

      everyone has different triggers actually! but the commons ones can be a trigger because they are acidic, OR irritate the irritated tissue, OR loosen the lower esophageal sphincter

    Did herbs help you to heal or was it only to go off your medication?
    I plan is to heal first and then go off my medication. I feel pain on back when I eat.

    Thank you so much for this video it was definitely helpful - If I may ask a question though, I’m at a point where I still haven’t healed in anyway and thinking about what my future will look like after I’ve hopefully managed to control my GERD/IBS scares me so much. Is there hope for me to actually go back to eating like a normal human being anytime soon? Or am I going to be afraid of food for the rest of my life? I went from being a major foodie (spicy, sour and salty especially) to being triggered by a glass of water. I have one meal a day and it’s usually very very small. I don’t want it to be like that forever. I don’t want to plan a week ahead of time for a slice of pizza in fear of a relapse.

      yes a GI doctor, Registered Dietitian and a therapist were pivotal in my healing - i highly recommend reaching out to your PCP for a referral if you need one!

    Hey Molly!
    I am just confused. No Pain, No Inflamation, No Abdominal Pain No Stomach Pain, But Fart and Burps Normally not too much. But i feel mucus after 30mins of every meal. So Tell Me My Acid Is Below 1ph or higher than 3ph. ?
