Well, my Jeep Gladiator (Rubicon) has a natural 6...and that's one reason I like it. Nothing turbo, 4cyl or V8 for me -- a N-A 6cyl is fine.
It seems Chevy really improved the Colorado ZR2 starting with the 2023 model...makes it way more competitive to the top-model Gladiators.

The low end punch of a turbo is fun to drive but I'll take a NA V6 myself also.

@@thomaslehmann5981 Well, my V6 Pentastar (Generation 3) and 8-speed transmission (850RE) isn't quite "butter smooth" as your Canyon but like you I'll take it anyway over a 4cyl/6cyl turbo. Well, I kind of HAVE to as I signed the sales contract and the Jeep dealer (in Castle Rock, CO) wouldn't take it back! ;-)
Just kidding...because I DO like my Gladiator, and it's STILL fun to drive going on 3 years now (and 4 long 3-state road-trips) whenever I need to go out somewhere for some reason. Or, for absolutely no reason at all. ;-)

This is the better buy, Tacoma is expensive and cramped, the ranger is powerful but worse MPG and The Bison has more back seat space, it’s A inline 4 so better mileage, but the interior is the least progressive and the spare tire doesn’t fit in the bottom has to go in the bed where it will be stolen immediately.. all 3 of them look great, Tacoma looks the best but bison and ranger are fire too.. it comes down to Mileage and space for me

As an owner of a 23 Canyon AT4 with 295/70r17’s with 2”Front- 1”Rear lift, those 295/70’s (33.3”) tires are the biggest I felt comfortable going without a full suspension upgrade. Only the Canyon/Colorado get rear vents for passengers. Only the Tacoma and Canyon can equip a moonroof in their top trims (Colorado ZR2 Bison AEV can't have one, and none of the Ranger trims come with a moonroof). On their configurators in top trim, the Ranger Raptor seems like the value option somehow at ~$60k. The Chevy was ~$63k, and the GMC at a whopping ~$73k. No clue on Toyotas pricing as the top trims aren't live on their site yet.
Offroad I'm sure all of them will be super impressive.

I went looking for a 4x4 truck in 2020..I looked at the colorado and the Tacoma. I didn't want a full size truck..The tacoma at the time, had a plastic bed..rear drum brakes.. and instead of a locking differential, it had a computerized braking that applied the brakes to which ever wheel was spinning.. Kinda defeats the momentum you need to get you up a hill or out of a mudhole...Plus the taco was about $6k more expensive. So I bought a new 2020 Colorado WT. (V6).$31k OTD 30k miles on it now... It had to have the trans flush at 6k miles.. So far (knock on wood) it's doing ok..

You forget that the shocks on the seats were tested extensively on Baja racing trucks first. 2 different models. It's not a gimmick. It's also weight-based, so more precise than any bump stops are going to be. Meanwhile, on the TRD Pro, you get 3-way adjustible Fox racing shocks, which are tried and true. On the Trailhunter, you get even better OME shocks which can take much more weight reliably.

I'm wondering if after you buy one of these $60k Colorado's you're going to "full send it" just to test the reliability of those bump stops lol, let us know how that works out.

Pretty Nice. However, if Jeep would just put the new SST hurricane engine in the Gladiator it would be class leading. It is like Jeep are intentionally sandbagging the Gladiator and killing it. It is the best midsize off-road centered pickup in every way except it's powertrain. The old pentastar v6 is just underpowered and uninspiring in that heavy of a vehicle.

If I had the money I'd buy the gen 2 version of this. They need to get rid of the leaf springs, have a rear mounted tire like on the jeep with a swing mount, upgrade their cameras, include a winch, work on the tire rubbing, higher HP, update the electronics.
