I think the ks23 is an honorable mention here due to it's insane flesh damage with shrapnel rounds and with barricade having a br5 class pen it's amazing against any stalker not wearing an exosuit
What about the Toz Chimera Hunter? I’ve just picked it up with the KS as my secondary and im wondering if I should swap it out. Only thing is needing to be super accurate with 2 shots but that’s kinda fun.
Due to its slow rate of fire and reload, combined with a tiny mag i wouldnt put the KS above B
It is just overpowered. I hate play with OP guns with awful balanced characteristics.
When you using KS-23 you need to use damned Barrikade shells.
When enemy uses KS-23 he doesn't care about what armor you wearing.
And there's A LOT of this cancer guns. I think they'd never produced this much.

Why bother mentioning the 105-Shakal as the best 5.45x39mm when the RPK-16 has a 60 round capacity, better recoil, fast reload, and can mount whichever optics you like? Odd choice.
Thanks for reading my comment about Clear Sky selling Gauss batteries in your sniper tier list! If you want to do a little trolling with the Dhampyr, a tier three upgrade lets you convert it to fire 12x55 but turns it into a single shot pistol. It’s great for one tapping pretty much anything with the AP rounds!

Great video! like always. Im gamma player so economy means everything for me. I dont care much about higer fire rate, more important thing is ammo costs. In that case i chose svds pmc with 5.56x45 upgrade mid game/without upgrade late game and saiga ISG/RAPTR. Also Shakal was my favorite, but 5.45x39 even AP rounds sucks agains egzosuits. Still dont have opinion about pistols/smgs, i need something on 45calibre and possibility to use in binoculars slot, to use on lower tier mutants. Also, i stil dont try every scope, but i using eots on svds and xl-m on shotguns, there is a better one?
this was an awesome video. thank you for adding my favourite baby the RD 9x39. that gun has gotten me tonnes of kills! I'd love to see a video where you have the best "pairing" of weapons. as in what you would take into the raids with you depending on the area of the quest or hunt & difficulty.
I think that could be another good mini series, what loadouts you might take into certain labs/big story quests or even favorite loadouts for mutants, stalkers, balanced, artifact hunting, general stashing/questing (high weight capacity generally-balanced damage loadout). This could even take into account weapon use cases (cqc vs range, suppressible or not, flexibility of ammo, weight, etc), and if you wanted to go crazy, armor and attachments with priority to specific damage resists, stats, or upgrades like stam and hp regen or wound healing

Just got the raptor recently off a relatively new play through, man that gun has changed the game for me. I’m spraying that thing down hallways nailing things I can’t even see. I love that gun. Power of a shotgun with a mag size of a rifle and reload speed of one.

Great summary video! Are you planning on doing a similar walkthrough for the armours as well, or are those too different between Anomaly, EFP and GAMMA for that to work?
I absolutely adore the Saigas hold fire to 2 round burst. It's great to tap fire put also gives you great RoF if needed. I wish more burst guns had that option.

Great video, well explained. Having said that, I believe that cost effectiveness should be an important factor to determine what are the actual best weapons worth using for most of your playthrough. Why? Because if you play in Hard/Survivalist in Gamma for example, all these weapons in the video will either be very rarely used or only very late game when you swim in money/ammo crafting components. But during 90%+ of your playthrough, you definitely want a reliable weapon that is effective but you also want to be able to afford ammo in large numbers since you cannot really craft all the ammo you need in practice. For me the best weapons shoot .45 ACP/Hydro , Slugs/AP slugs, 9x19AP, 7.62x39mm (regular and AP late game), 5.45/5.56 (AP late game) and 9x39 SP5 (SP6 late game) due to how much it costs per mags vs how much damage it actually does (penetration and stopping power) .
I've been rocking the Galil ACE recently it's been a lot of fun with AP rounds. That, the five-seven and saiga 12 have served me well.

If versatility is a consideration, I think the AK-12 Monolith 2.0 is a strong contender. It's only real downside (for me) is the fixed scope magnification. Using HP for zone fauna and AP for Stalkers, switching between semi- and automatic as needed, and the huge mag size are all big benefits to me. I swap between that and the Hera depending on my current ammo situation. With the MP7 in my melee slot for close encounters, and the SA-58 OSW for longer-range stuff, this loadout covers pretty much everything. FWIW, although I know it's not considered 'great', I really enjoy the G36C - just wish it had a larger mag mod - plus, I've only ever seen ONE in over 100 in-game days, so...
I share almost the exact same setup with an AK-12 Monolith 2.0, VSSK Vykhlop and a MP7. I mostly use my VSSK for Exos, AK-12 for everything and MP7 if I'm rushed and don't have time to reload.
You probably already know it but I'll say it in case someone else reads this: the fixed scope of the AK-12 can be ignored by holding the gun at 45° (keybind V by default). The gun doesn't have an angled sight but allows you to do so nonetheless. Because of the absence of angled sight, the laser comes in clutch when you do so or else you would have to guess where your bullets are going exactly.
Which makes it a very good generalist weapon for firefights at any range imo. As long as you can afford the ammo (which is why I use the VSSK, Exos are real bullet sponges otherwise).

Agree with you 99%, only nit pick is I find the Ash-12.7's selection of scopes to be the worst part of an otherwise amazing rifle.

It's because I was in god mode so I couldn't take damage.
The SVDS PMC has the option to switch to 5.56 and the damage per shot remains at 77.
If this is not a bug, this gives an (almost) 7.62 NATO in a more economical 5.56.
Could I ask which faction trader sells the OSW kit? Clear sky in swamps has only the cheap ones but I would love to get my hands on the OSW and for what exact type of FN fal is this kit, or it is specific weapon and not a kit?
The SA-58 OSW is a seprate gun, you can't updarade a SA-58 to one

6:22 I've been looking all over, does anyone know where to get the FN40GL for the SCAR-H? I reached Supply 5 with Skinflint and he hasn't had it. Just hit Supply 5 with Dushman and waiting for his inventory to reset. Would love a solid pointer on a confirmed vendor that carries it.
Ash 12.7 is my favourite also. Because the rounds are so powerfull you don't need many shots. Below the barrier I use the AK105 Swamp Thing.

Hi! Why ak 105 shakal is here but ak 105 swamp thing absent? 556 is better then 545 and guns are practicly identical in everything else or i dont know something?

My favourite is VSS Merc. Cheap ammo 30 mag and 48 dmg per bullet makes it best value weapon i looted yet. Scar is good too. And AWSM top sniper with 338 lapua ammo.
OC-14 Dolg is nice weapon for mutants and stalkers by using hp and ap rounds. I can see it have second rail but I can't find a way to attach anything to it...

For some reason my FN P90 doesn't have the sights or lasers
I'll add my 3 cents about efp 4.0 specifically. There, the best battle rifle is in my opinion DS Arms SA-58. It's light, it has great fire rate, quick reload, you can get it to 100% accuracy 97% handling and it accepts leupold rmr kit (variable zoom scope + canted sight). However, it's not the best in close quarters due to the gun covering a big chunk of the screen in canted sight mode. For cq vs heavy armor I prefer HK G28 since it has a laser and doesn't cover important screen area while tilted to the side. No full auto though.
I don't like guns with grenade launchers in efp since they add a third mode to the optic queue and I'll be switching between optics frequently
How you get more scopes for AsH 12.7? In Gamma only "long" range scope is Elcan with RMR on top... but not leopold 1-8x scope upgrade kit you had on it in the video...

AN-94 Is an ideal assault weapon in my eyes, you can land two shots precicely on target, you can even headshot stalkers in exos with AP rounds. Add an optics, and you have your DMR, add a dot, and you have got an automatic rifel for short/medium range engagements

The HK G28 65×51 is the best DMR in Stalker Anomaly by a mile.

whats the modd that adds new lmg animations and attachments at 0:04, ive seen it on other youtubers but i cant find it anywere and it sucks cause the lmgs in the base anomaly are very basic

L85 Tactical is pretty solid for 5.56. It has really good accuracy, sights, and can use the M320 grenade launcher. The M320 sights are actually usable unlike the 203. Not as good as the guard maybe but imo the gun is better than the ak-12 monolith. Not many other choices if you really want to use a grenade launcher and 5.56 is relatively economical.
Well... imo if versatility is taken into consideration the good ol' AEK-971 is S tier weapon. The accuracy on it makes it almost a battle rifle in single shot and having a GL to use all those extra VOG-25's
You never mentioned the 23x75mmR toz 34 chimera hunter. I feel like that should be up there among the best weapons in the game. With barrikada slugs it can take down nosrog's with ease and can almost insta-kill chimeras with the shrapnel round.

0:34 7.62x25 is better IRL than how this mod makes it out. 7.62x39 might just be the overall best jack-of-all-trades caliber for Zone use. It's effective against zoners and mutants alike and it's both common and affordable. An AKM with a GP-25, along with a supply of rifle ammo and 40-mils, will handle anything the Zone throws at you. Reserve 40-mils for "big game" and you'll probably never run out. At least not if you're constantly treating yourself to them whenever it's "economically viable" to do so.

I don’t think the sr can attach a gl. Unless it is an upgrade. A semi auto gun can still have a higher fire rate. The fire rat on semi guns limit how fast you can click. And in this case, you can shoot the svds faster than the sr25 if you just click quickly. I believe the scar has a unique gl.
@@nullmoxy Kinda like Jakobs battle rifles (semi-auto, high fire rate) versus Vladof assault rifles or machine guns (full-auto, fixed fire rate) in Borderlands 2. Jakobs rifles in Borderlands 3 can have a variety of different action types (lever, crank, etc.).

7.92x57 or it's weapons don't seem to appear much on these tier lists. What's up with that?
792 is quite a weird caliber as (at least in GAMMA) has very little penetration but lots of damage. The fmj rounds are better at taking out most mutants than stalkers but I still wouldn't reccomend using it.
In my opinion the AS VAL the on with the 30 round mag is S tier I forgot the name of it

It jams a fair bit even at 100% condition with 100% condition parts. It's basically a worse FN45/FNX,
It quite good, .45 acp is quite strong and it has a decent mag size of 15 for a pistol.
I can see that you have a P90 with an attached sight, but mine cannot take any sights. Can someone tell me why, please? It has the stock sight on it, which is terrible. Also, there's no laser. I've tried looking around to see if there is an upgrade kit or something, but have found none. :(
P90s seem to be bugged in my game. I'm not sure this applies to all of them but I keep finding them with no parts. Like a vanilla weapon. They simply don't have parts or a way of putting them in the gun.
You should note that the damphyr can be upgraded to take the 12.7 round and do 220 damage
But it only has 1 shot

All I need is mp5, cheap ammo and with AP you can down exos pretty cheap with a few headshots.
Personally, I think the AK-12 Monolith is the most versatile gun of all.

AEK-971 for me, beaten whole anomaly with it without dying only downside i see is worst ammo for AR and weaker ammo for grenade launcher than nato counterpart ( i want to one shot burers or chimeras asap)
0:39 how effective is .357?
.357 against stalkers is not great as it has very low penetration. But it is ok against unarmoured stalkers like some bandits.

There is (in my opinion) a better sniper than the ash, I think it's called deer hunter and it has a huge scope and is chambered in .338 lapua. It has (don't fucking know why) better base damage than ash and its amor penetration is literally unlimited, atleast that's what the description says. Till know I only needed 1 bullet to kill someone. "Armor? What is it? I'm just going trough it like butter" - probably the gun

Nope, it's either one or the other
You can, but you need separate Anomaly installs for each of them. Have to name each folder differently and then direct each install to the correct one. A bit more work but is possible. So takes up a lot more space, but is doable.
Oh as in separate installs, yes you can. I thought they meant installing one onto another.
