Paul Walker's reaction to that Boss 9 being revved was the best part of the video, a true gear head. We miss you Paul.
Car guys’ car guy
@@robertrico7598 Yes
Why do people go crazy over this guy it's like people think he's a race car driver, clearly he's not
@@koffinNAILS he was a great ambassador for the culture dude. Race car driver is completely irrelevant.
@@koffinNAILS he actually did some time attack racing and was part of the AE performance team
This guy reminds me of John Force alot of enthusiasm when he speaks .
I feel like this is the type of build many people set out to do but very rarely achieve. Race car in street car clothing. It's a hard balance to find and they nailed it on this. Steve Strope is not only a badass builder but quite the story teller as well. Entertaining man with an entertaining car. Another great video from you guys. Thanks.
He and Anvil are both BOSS !!
This Mustang is PERFECTION. I've loved this car since I saw it at SEMA.
did you get to HEAR it at SEMA? just wondering
@@twasbrillig33 No, it was just a static display.
Steve Strope never disappoints always nails it
There hasn’t been a single strope car that I’ve disliked, amazing work.
Such an awesome car, but would have loved to hear him rev it out once.
but then you wouldn't have been able to blow all that time listening to this guy talk about how awesome it is...
What a cool guy. He is very passionate about his build which is so bad ass! Love that suspension.
Clean ass Stang. Builder has a great personality and style. Great video guys
One of my favorite Pure Vision builds. And yes, I do say that about damn near every car Steve conjures up. But seriously, this and the ‘68 “NASCAR” Charger are perfect.
I say it about his builds too. So much class and style in his vision
I love Steve's work
Anvil...badass...Im from Tenerife..working in Fast6...I m the painter and body worker...all Cars da film...really good time...I LOVE autotopia..i LOVE Steve strope,purevision..i LOVE Mustang...69 fastback badassmustang4ever... adiós amigos!!!🤩
What a beautiful mustang, it's good seeing OLD SCHOOL BB.
Oh baby, two minutes in and this car is making me approach having 'a moment'. For pre-72 Mustang guys, this is like the ultimate Throw the Piggybank at it and see what comes out build. Yes, yes, and more YES all day!
Wayamin...hold up...how am I just now being made aware of such a creation...
That is done rite 👌
Strope is awesome, and now grows fabulous hair.
I'm speechless , it's a monster build
This car is perfection
Pure Vision builds bitchin cars: Anvil beats Hammer as a favorite, and that's a big deal for me! Thank you for bringing AutotopiaLA to the world...
I saw this car at the Goodguys show in Columbus, Ohio several years ago. It's amazing.
What a car! Steve is such an amazing craftsman. I love the blend of restomod and old-school aspects. Truly a fine piece of machinery.
Brutal, bad ass, mean motherforklifter of a car. Great work Steve, love that Kaase motor! 👍🏻👊🏻
Not much else can be said about this FORD.......Steve describes it perfectly. As Shawn would say.....dude it's bitchin!
Way to go guys. That is a true street mustang showcase. Eat your heart out ev cars. You cannot duplicate that experience.
In the early 70s, I had a maroon 69 mach1 428cj with hooker headers, short pipes, and glass packs. It had a 4-speed manual gearbox. Of course it had the shaker hood.
I loved that car. I still wonder how I ever let myself get talked out of it even after I had just rebuilt the motor.
It's the best car I ever had.
Ive loved 67-69 Mustang since I was 15, this one of the best builds ive seen!
“This car worries about itself and screw you just drive it” no one has ever anthropomorphized a mustang better.
“It would like to hurt you” 😂😂😂😂 I bet! Haha John Kaase is a LEGEND!!
Love that line! Lol!!
Sweet. And that was the most chemistry Chromoly shirt Ive ever seen.
My first mustang was a 69 mach1. That is the best retro 69 I have ever seen
This thing is simply perfect and it’s 10 years old already on the build
Damn! That is one hell of a ´69! Awesome details!
This is the real deal what Steve McQueen needed in Bullitt looks and sounds badass for sure. 😎🇺🇸✌🏽
Paul Walker looked like he wanted to pee himself hearing that engine.
This thing is a beast
This is the car that was the inspiration on my 69 Mustang!! I love this car.😎😎
Steve Strope, Troy Trepanier, Chip Foose these guys are artists of the mechanical
Agreed
This car was well put together. A real work of art. I LOVE IT!!!!
The understated way this guy delivers on his cars is truly wonderful.
Great edit Shawn, getting right to the heart of both man and machine. Thank you.
Strope & Kasse is the ultimate combo. I remember this car… seems like everyone is afraid to get it over 4000 rpm … awesome 😎
Just the right amount of "Too Much"....
That exhaust sounds glorious. What a cool build and presentation!
It's nasty and I love it sounds phenomenal and I would have the same reaction as Paul Walker. Miss that dude
Read about this Mustang in a magazine a few years ago or so… so nice to hear it run now. The owner cracks me up. Phenomenal job, phenomenal sound! Perfect balance between OEM and modern.
Beautiful car 👍
"Its not safe and warm and happy. This car would like to hurt you" That's awesome.
AutotopiaLA is back!!
Steve is a hoot! I could listen to him talk cars for a while. The build is awesome and similar to my vision of how hot rods should be built. Kinda sedate looking, but so many details with a ton of performance. Dig it!
What a killer Mustang you got to love big motors and shifting them
One of my favorite Mustangs ever by far
Hermoso auto!! Saludos desde ARGENTINA!!!
That is one badass machine and I love! That is a pure muscle car at it's finest. I thought Steve was George "Corpse Grinder" but, his neck is too small 😂🤘🏼
My favorite Autotopia so far. This car is what a real driving experience is all about. No stereo - the engine makes the music. No A/C, no cup holders. I'd probably put in some seatbelts, myself. Overall, though, I like the cut of Steve's jib.
Ya’ll must have read my last comment ‘cause Steve Strope is freakin cool, or maybe a lotta other folks know that too.
When you build a show car that demands you drive it like a bat out of hell!!!!! Absolutely perfect mustang.
I'm glad those Boss 429 hemis are coming back- great looking engine
He’s such a legend in the car game. Love his style and simplicity of the builds he and the crew works on. Absolutely incredible machine
🥱 Bored He didn't go all the way down on the accelerator. I was left wanting to hear that beast roar.
But this is a beautiful car...
Seeing paul in this vid and being so excited over the mustang was so bittersweet for me. Miss the man.....but in that same vein glad he doesn't have to deal with 2020+ BS xD
We all miss him bro
Great video. The editing and quality is epic. This video takes me back to something you would see watching old school powerblock. Hands down best car channel on UA-cam 💯.
That’s a nice stang 👍
One of the absolute best custom cars ever built. Way to go Steve.
Beautiful, work of art. Well done.
Beautiful
What an absolute beast everything you want in a muscle car (a race car in disguise) and nothing you don’t! Steve Strope is an absolute genius and his company name is his mantra Pure Vision.... kinda says it all!
Beautifully done and the detail is incredible!
I like the attention to every detail. That coil over setup is bad ass. Nice build
Steve..yah had me at Boss 520 CUBES!!....LOL!!
His cars are always just badass!!
Steve Strope is the man!!! Would have loved to hear that engine at full song.
I spent the whole saying out aloud, " let her rip!".
That stang nice. I remember watching the fast and furious and saying man i wish i could get some of those part off the car when they crushed it
Such a beautiful car, and it sounds amazing! I love it.
Good God!!! Strope's company name, "Pure Vision" is so appropriate, given how much vision and creativity and effort go into his builds. A vision, and a purpose to everything he creates. Wicked 'Stang from a wicked builder. What is with that air cleaner? Does it pull from the cowl?
Yes like nascar
I love that he's a real car/engineering nerd. Thats what excites me about cars, when the functional parts are beautiful & well designed. This attention to detail reminds me of Horacio Pagani & the Zonda. I would love designing/engineering or even building cars for a living.
Liked this episode more than the others. Not only because of the car, the Videography is better (in my mind) and it‘s cooler to see all those little details Steve is talking about rather than see two guys just „talk“ over the car.
I liked it a lot this way! Keep going.
One clean stang 🔥
Mustang=Thumbs up in my book:)
And I'm drooling again...
That is one mean and aggressive Mustang
Just nutz... that was my favorite car on Fast 6...👍🏽🏁
After seeing and hearing the black ops Fairlane a Pure Vision build is something special, if it's a Ford of course... Great video thanks Autotopia.. 💯
Thanks. And yes on everything Strope & Co build…they nail it on every build
Damn, what a BEAST!!!
Probably my favorite build yet...
I'm totally jelly! INSANE!!! BAD ASS!!!!!!!!!
Great video and I love the new format. Steve is a great story teller and I’m always glad to hear about the intricacies of a build from him.
Damn, my father had a 69 Mustang with a 351 "Windsor" three speed turbo automatic, Forrest green with a black stripe on the hood. This car too did not have power steering, such a beast - looks good when slammed....
This car is such an incredible build!
All I have to say is… Nasty! 🙌
Simply incredible! Kept the muscle car DNA to the max!
Perfect, and absolutely awesome work building a car like this.
Nice to see Paul Walker here. Badd ass Mustang. Fast and F 6. RIP PW.😎😎👍👍
Cars is gorgeous. Love that red interior
The red is so good in there
Just love the fact that someone out there is still building new BOSS 429 based motors, only bigger. The car looks really great.
I used to have a poster of this car on my wall in my office. Badass...
GREAT BUILD STEVE!!!! I LOVED IT THEN AND I LOVE IT NOW!!!!! THAT IS MY TYPE OF HOT ROD!!!! GREAT BUILD AND FABRICATION!!!!!! THANKS FOR SHARING!!!!!
This guy builds the best cars
When I saw it in ff I thought to myself…that’s one nice mustang…I still think that green Gran Torino is the best👀
simply beautiful
It's funny I looked at this car, underestimated it a little bit, I wasn't impressed until I stopped doing what I was doing and really start looking,It's so much hidden detail, the rear lights and mesh, the front carbon, the sound, the exhaust. They begin to stand out when your looking for it
The details great...the engine..epic, the sound though is through is bad ass
That's the best 69 I've seen. Good job! Looks awesome! Sounds great! This is
Loved the old classic design:))
Me too
Steve Strope is the man. What a beast.
No doubt!
Very tasteful, this guy gets it.
This is a Beast, and,he's right,it's timeless and will never go out of style, well put together.
Agreed. Tasteful class build that really is timeless
"This car isn't safe and warm and happy. It'd like to hurt you."
Yeeeeesssss. 😎
😂
