Bought the Sage ESN 10'0" 4 weight so this looks like the perfect reel to complement it. Haven't seen it down-under in NZ yet but with the world in Covid lockdown will just have to wait. Thanks for the informative video.
Could see this reel being really popular in my area for spey rods. It would be nice to have a reel that isn't a Hardy with the ability to keep mono running line in the reel.
Yeah, those fly shops. What terrible people. They probably buy stuff from a manufacturer and then sell it at a normal margin like every other business in the world. 🙄🤦♂️
Thanks for all the content guys. Greatly appreciated! Great video.

I got this reel right after it was released and I luv it.
Bought this reel from the fly fisher Melbourne to compliment my hanak 10 3wt absolutely fantastic!
Witch weight did you use?? And what angle on the clock face did you fix it?? Thanks 🎣
does that big chest pack get in the way of casting and what not at all?
Nice! Can't you also rotate the weights to further adjust the balance point?
Yes you definitely can 👍
What is the weight of the reel with no added weight?

Sean Connors it’s actually against the law not to own a Hardy for spey or salmon.
@@User-es2yz LOL good. I'm in the clear then 😂
For anyone interested in this reel I’d also check out the new Galvan euro reel
Galvan is made in the 🇺🇸 got my hands on one a couple months ago it is unbelievable.
@@will4918 How have you liked the Galvan reel? Does their click pawl drag require a lot of (or any) maintenance?
I’ve seen it on Facebook but wanted to see how it is first
Must have!
For the price I'd rather go with the galvan esn reel and support American manufacturing jobs.
american made? or chinese made, and american assembled?
I believe it’s Korean made.
@@Lanceeganflyfishing and i love the way the fly shops sell them for $$$, i found were they are made, and now buy directly
