@@dryued6874 No that doesn't make sense. These animations are made by hand without doubt. Obviously there is a lot of looping and copying and pasting but still there are so many unique animations. Do you know what procedural generation is? Doesn't apply here.
@@dryued6874 Seems to me like he animates the models, then usually copy pastes several actoins and changes them in part on some models. Once you have the basic walk function down you can copy paste it for 3/4ths of the production if you use it cleverly. It's what Cyriak is brilliant at, showing something repetitive without it feeling or seeming repetitive.
Right? The main moment I noticed that was at 2:16 with the spider sheep shooting other spider sheep out of its face. The amount of detail Cyriak puts into these is Nobel Prize worthy.
It's crazy how close his videos are to the closed-eye visuals I get on psychs. He's actually never taken any of those drugs though (can't remember where I read it, but I think it was from a stream of him creating a video). These are simply the combination of a powerful imagination and hard work (and some toasty graphics cards).

I really like Cyriak's music. It makes me feel somehow nostalgic and the same time with high spirits. Strangely enough make me want to dance and vibe to the sound. I feel like a child dancing to children's music but more sophisticated and make me introspect in the creativeness evoked. It's like not only watching, but also is like hearing a rough diamond you can polish with your imagination.
This video represents societal collapse under capitalism. While the first cycle seems reasonable, the second cycle is where the problems are made apparent. The bear factory resembles worker alienation (phone use), as the system relies on violence (using the chippers). Kitty City represents the dissolution of urban life, an increase in traffic congestion due to car dependency, a decrease in air quality, and political unrest. The sheep field represents pollution caused by trash dumping (trash bags and yellowed grass). The web represents resources being perverted (into the cube shape used to wall off the lower class) by an authoritarian ruling class, led by the sheep king, whose plan is hinted at in the original cycle. The lab represents scientific research, unable to progress because it has to fend off the sheep monster (the authoritarian state). The repeated error message represents inescapable turmoil once it is too late to stop it.

The first zone is the Cloud Land, inhabited by teddy bears who water teddy trees, and there is one teddy bear that grinds the others to prevent overpopulation (0:44) The next zone is a City, with people being controlled by Castlecats - beings who look like humanoids made out of buildings, and with the head of a cat. The next zone is a sub-zone of the City, being the "power plant" which provides energy for the city. The next zone resembles a meadow, inhabited by Sheepiders, who make Sheepider Webs out of their own wool. In the next zone, made entirely of Sheepider Webs, lives the Sheepider Queen. The next zone is the Technology Zone, which hosts the Spiral of Life ("source code" of the entire Circle World) and there is a machine used to monitor the Spiral's activity. At 2:56 things have taken a worse turn, as the teddy bears of Cloud Land are no longer paying attention to their duties - the one who operates the Grinder, is now using his phone, which leads to over-teddy-population. This may be my favorite one so far. I love how the second cycle is an imperfect version of the first. I know there’s supposed to be some sort of deeper meaning to it but it just looks so cool.
Is this talking about society? With the phones distracting people's work, the careless pollution, the need to take over other people's creations, and the error that seems simple to fix but everyone seems focused on what they want rather than what they need? (The error being what I listed off)

I love rewatching this just to look for extra little details that I hadn't noticed before. It feels like there's a lot that can easily be missed. For example, the "dodecahedron sheep" at ~5:17, who is possibly the same sheep seen experimenting with turning a cube into a dodecahedron at 2:17. In the second loop, he's seen on a chair with his creation, as he eats flowers from a bucket as if they were popcorn. But what actually are these flowers? Well, at 1:42, the same kind of flower can be seen used as food for newly created sheep-spiders. In the second loop at 3:42, though, they eat... something. I can't tell what it is, but seconds later, you can see sheep-spiders looking through trash bags to find more. Yeah, it really seems like that dodecahedron guy asserted himself as a ruler of some kind so he could hoard all the flowers to himself while leaving the cube-making plebs to fend for themselves.

In the video it started when the bear didn’t turn the grinding wheel but for us it started when the Devil tricked Adam & Eve to eat the forbidden fruit that God told them not to. & so he banished them from the garden & put them on Earth, they were cursed with mortal life, it is human nature to deny what we’ve been told as we are curious to find out & always want to prove we are right. The bears & cats represent us & the sheep represent the animals. In summary we aren’t able to live forever & eventually the world will rot & fall apart, usually Cyriak’s videos have meanings but this one had the most impact on me. It took me 2 HOURS to write this comment. Cyriak if you’re reading this I’d like to say thank you for making this it really shows you the sad truth behind how the way of this world works & since it’s 2019 it’s so much more relevant, Steve Cutts would be proud of this.

@@dryued6874 Seems to me like he animates the models, then usually copy pastes several actoins and changes them in part on some models. Once you have the basic walk function down you can copy paste it for 3/4ths of the production if you use it cleverly.
It's what Cyriak is brilliant at, showing something repetitive without it feeling or seeming repetitive.
What really amazes me is the kind of secret sync of the music and the 'stuff' that is happening in the background. It really adds to the absurdity.
Right? The main moment I noticed that was at 2:16 with the spider sheep shooting other spider sheep out of its face. The amount of detail Cyriak puts into these is Nobel Prize worthy.

It's crazy how close his videos are to the closed-eye visuals I get on psychs. He's actually never taken any of those drugs though (can't remember where I read it, but I think it was from a stream of him creating a video). The bear factory resembles worker alienation (phone use), as the system relies on violence (using the chippers). Kitty City represents the dissolution of urban life, an increase in traffic congestion due to car dependency, a decrease in air quality, and political unrest. The sheep field represents pollution caused by trash dumping (trash bags and yellowed grass). The web represents resources being perverted (into the cube shape used to wall off the lower class) by an authoritarian ruling class, led by the sheep king, whose plan is hinted at in the original cycle. The lab represents scientific research, unable to progress because it has to fend off the sheep monster (the authoritarian state). The repeated error message represents inescapable turmoil once it is too late to stop it.

The next zone is a sub-zone of the City, being the "power plant" which provides energy for the city. The next zone resembles a meadow, inhabited by Sheepiders, who make Sheepider Webs out of their own wool. In the next zone, made entirely of Sheepider Webs, lives the Sheepider Queen. The next zone is the Technology Zone, which hosts the Spiral of Life ("source code" of the entire Circle World) and there is a machine used to monitor the Spiral's activity.
At 2:56 things have taken a worse turn, as the teddy bears of Cloud Land are no longer paying attention to their duties - the one who operates the Grinder, is now using his phone, which leads to over-teddy-population. In the city zone, the people became aware that the Castlecats are actually dictators, and start a riot against them. The Meadow Zone is polluted, with the grass being a duller color, and Sheepiders foraging through the waste, in order to find any edible material. There is a new Sheepider Queen, who forces her subjects to work hard, and the former Sheepider Queen is now conquering the Technology zone, slowly eating the Spiral Of Life, which causes warnings to pop up on the screen of the machine used to monitor the Spiral's activity.

This may be my favorite one so far. I love how the second cycle is an imperfect version of the first. I know there’s supposed to be some sort of deeper meaning to it but it just looks so cool.

I love rewatching this just to look for extra little details that I hadn't noticed before. It feels like there's a lot that can easily be missed. For example, the "dodecahedron sheep" at ~5:17, who is possibly the same sheep seen experimenting with turning a cube into a dodecahedron at 2:17. In the second loop, he's seen on a chair with his creation, as he eats flowers from a bucket as if they were popcorn.
But what actually are these flowers? Well, at 1:42, the same kind of flower can be seen used as food for newly created sheep-spiders. In the second loop at 3:42, though, they eat... something. I can't tell what it is, but seconds later, you can see sheep-spiders looking through trash bags to find more. Yeah, it really seems like that dodecahedron guy asserted himself as a ruler of some kind so he could hoard all the flowers to himself while leaving the cube-making plebs to fend for themselves.

5:45 Last resort to save humanity: Those with the most advanced knowledge & power will try to save the population of the world from ending, however due to the increase in many issues such as global warming & criminal activity they will be unable to as the damage has already been done, it is inevitable, no matter how many times they try, even if they have the most control over mostly anything, they can’t stop what they’ve started but they will always deny this even if it is true as we humans can’t accept what we’ve been told but rather trying to prove it wrong in order to show we are the smartest beings on this planet.
In the video it started when the bear didn’t turn the grinding wheel but for us it started when the Devil tricked Adam & Eve to eat the forbidden fruit that God told them not to. & so he banished them from the garden & put them on Earth, they were cursed with mortal life, it is human nature to deny what we’ve been told as we are curious to find out & always want to prove we are right. The bears & cats represent us & the sheep represent the animals. In summary we aren’t able to live forever & eventually the world will rot & fall apart, usually Cyriak’s videos have meanings but this one had the most impact on me. It took me 2 HOURS to write this comment. Cyriak if you’re reading this I’d like to say thank you for making this it really shows you the sad truth behind how the way of this world works & since it’s 2019 it’s so much more relevant, Steve Cutts would be proud of this.
