    I can't imagine how many billable hours went into that one assembly of the entire project. It looks like the shop you work for has plenty of job security, and I am grateful of that and all of the other workers there.

    Damn, that was some good machining. Assuming you are producing a lot of these things, I do wonder how often you stop to check for quality control, change tips etc. I was a machinist, quite a while ago.

      "Hydraulic wedge grips are used to test the tensile strength of materials using hydraulic pressure and a wedge action to clamp the specimen between the grip jaws"
