I'm here August 2024. Hard to believe that Vestal, George and Jake crossed over to sing along with that music up there about 20 years ago. Literally within a year of each other.
Thank you for the wonderful music. It lives on, inspiring those of us still pressing on towards our eternal home.

I recently caught the Gaithers on UA-cam. And now I'm hooked. I've always enjoyed "church" music but the gospel music I've been enjoying watching the Gaithers just warms my soul immensely.
I have been watching Gaither Vocal Band videos for some time now. You can't go wrong with these.

I, too, am hooked. I didn't know a song my choir was going to sing and I was referred to Jessy Dixon on UA-cam and have gotten to "meet" so many wonderful musicians in the Gaither family that have helped me through the Pandemic.

Vestal was just one of the guys! They sang with her and treated her like an6th equal!! Women singing in quartets was unusual. But their were a few women who were accepted and she was one of them!! Very respected!!

The Sunday School teacher Vera McNealey repeated the thought in Low German. The next verse was written by Donald Strickland. Vera McNealey wrote the next part in Gedolic. The descant was written in French by Ethel Strickland. The next chorus was translated into Gaelic by Hilda Ahlemann. The descant for this part was written in Gedolic by Ethel Strickland. The chorus was written in German by Frederick Ahlemann. The next part was written in Gaelic by Ella Butler Martin. Mary Ahlemann continued the chorus in Gaelic. Wonderful singing from all these guys. Many of them have already reached our home country - but I'm happy our country isn't full yet. We who believe in Jesus will soon join them and others behind us.

So many have gone on to their reward.. but we sure miss them but these recordings are wonderful.and so inspiring they make me want to live a much much closer to jesus and a better life. They just bless your soul. I am so drawn to them every day i play them over

I remember this special. It is so encouraging to hear it again now after losing my husband at a very young age in 2019 and my grandmother last month. I know they are both now singing in heaven in God's glory!

This is the best version of this song I've ever heard. Great to see George Gene Jake and Rex sing solos as the rest of the singers clap their hands and sing this song.
George Younce's voice was amazing. So many great singers in this performance. Loved seeing David Phelps (min 1:16) in the background shake his head in amazement as George was singing in his deepest voice. Jake's smile was uplifting and his voice brought the entire audience into a real happy place. I'm just recently hooked on many of the Gaither Vocal Band performances on UA-cam.
