Epilogue idea: "While he was mostly a solitary creature, Rodan was not about to let invaders destroy his planet and friends. But the crystals' ravaging of Earth yielded an unexpected surprise for him. A female member of his species was awoken from hibernation from the ensuing chaos. While she lacked Rodan's fire abilities, their offspring didn't. How would humanity cope with the sudden boom in this species?"
I love your story ideas, I can’t put them down! My idea for Rodman involved him absorbing the fire power surge through an accident, increasing his already powerful fire abilities. Once the surge fused with his DNA, he transformed into a Phoenix like Kajiu, and began to protect Earth throughout his never ending life cycle, even from the likes of Godzilla
Rodan was the only Earth Defender who purposely absorbed one power surge crystal throughout the invasion. After defeating SpaceGodzilla with the help of the fire surge, Rodan returned to Monster Island only to be attacked by Godzilla for his use of the crystal. Godzilla thwarted Rodan, but in the process, Rodan was thrown into an active volcano. Instead of dying, the lava stuck onto Rodan’s body and began to change him. Phoenix Rodan was born
It was 1956 when Rodan first appeared in his own self-titled movie. This pteradactyloid monster was a massive prehistoric menace, named after the radioactive element Radon. He would then become part of the Godzilla franchise in Ghidra: The Three-Headed Monster, then appearing in more films after that from Monster Zero and Destroy All Monsters to Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II to Godzilla Final Wars, even into the newer films. Fire Rodan specifically is a more radioactive version from the Mechagodzilla II film, much more powerful too. Rodan is one of my favorite monsters for a number of reasons, one being I love prehistoric life, and another for his ability to fly. Like Anguirus, his relationship with Godzilla is dicey at best, sometimes they fight together, sometimes they fight each other.
Ah....... He may actually be one of the worst characters in the game. He has really speedy movement, but his attacks are some of the slowest to perform (minus one or two), and are really close range. Even his rush isn't all that great offensively, since it takes off from the ground so quickly you may fly over a monster instead of hitting them.
I never understood why Rodan, Moguera and Baragon (probably others) had 4 bars of health, while majority of the others had 5, and I know there were some with 6 (Spacegodzilla, Biollante etc.) Why did they do that? Was Rodan secretly OP or something?
Nah, it was just some strange way of showing which monsters had more "defense" by using more/less HP. It's kind of like how Rodan actually has very little HP compared to other monsters in previous games, it's just more difficult to tell since they used health bars instead of health cells.
SuperGodzillaGaming Ahh ok. Still though, I thought it was weird, because I know you fight against monsters who normally have 4 or 6 health bars, they only have 5 in story mode.
Through a surprising series of events, the rogue flier Rodan had descended to destroy the crystals and blast SpaceGodzilla back into oblivion. Rodan, normally pushed away by the other monsters for his attitude and aggressiveness, was now welcomed and treated as a hero by all. All was well, and it seemed that the ancient pterosaur would finally be able to find peace. However, it was not to be. The Fire and Shield power surges Rodan had collected and used turned on their host, turning most of Rodan's body to lava and the rest of it to rock, destroying his sanity in the process. Titanus Rodan was born, though what intentions this newly created "Fire Demon" had were unknown. go sub to Archer-Bro
Oy! Might I suggest using your breath weapon on those crystal towers instead of punching and kicking them? Because it's a lot more easier and more quicker if you use your breath weapon on them.
Probably one of the harder ones to play well with. However, with a glitch I discovered, that glitch made Rodan a lot more playable for me. With that said, Rodan is a very high maintenance monster to play as. However, with proper stratetgy and the glitch, you now stand a chance against high tiered threats like Destoroyah and the Ghidorahs.
I totally keep forgetting about War of the Monsters, I have the PS2-to-PS4 version downloaded on my PS4! Also, I believe these runs are on Normal difficulty.

Nice video SuperGodzillaGaming! Another nice playthrough from your brother. By the way, what are you going to post in between these story mode runs once you have completed survival mode for all the monsters on both versions of Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee?
Well... originally, I wanted this GU series to go a little longer by doing Earth Defender/GDF/Alien-oriented runs with all monsters. But it turns out their endings don't change, so I'll just post up Tyrant (Mutant) runs as all the monsters instead, since there's slightly special cutscenes and text changes that go with that. So~ when it gets to the full Tyrant runs as everyone, I'll probably just post those up solo every other day, as opposed to having a Tyrant run plus another game the day after.
If you don't mind motion controls, the Wii version is definitely better. Has its own faults of course, but the PS2 version... Even with a traditional control scheme, it suffers from input lag, horrendous slowdown, strange combat physics, and a myriad of other buggy issues related to its audio and visuals. Personally, I like the way the PS2 version "plays" more, but the Wii version has some really nice animations for most monsters and a fairly robust story mode and roster.

Please keep up these stories as much as you can, they are really entertaining
Thanks!

The answer is "FIRE POWER!!!"

Or the 2019 rodan

I was just watching that movie today

So he is mostly for the experienced player I imagine
Okay
@@SuperGodzillaGaming I wouldn’t say he’s the worst character in the game i love all the characters
He's one of the best imo
29:32- 29:55 we finally have Godzilla Rodan and Mothra against Ghidorah the three-headed monster just like in the movie
my favorite moments
3:52 day three 26:20 invasion 29:34 BIG trouble 47:00 atrogon 59:26 SpaceGodzilla
Loved it when he turned into critical mass I guess it should be called molten rodan
He looks like his 2019 design when he goes into that state.
time code?
Mothra (larva): Please...Help..RODAN!
Rodan: okay Stay calm!
Mothra (larva): I...CAAAANT!

yes thank you I wanted to you do Wii story modes for so long

It’s super weird to see rodan shoot beams, and also actively fight on land.
Because this is fire rodan which has a beam attack
47:54 that voice i swear sounds familiar.
Tf2 Spy
Rodan was my favorite monster in this game, mainly because you can fly around
to be honest, I wish they used the final wars version.
For some reason, they opted to have all monsters have some sort of projectile/beam attack. GFW Rodan lacks that, but Fire Rodan fit the bill.
SuperGodzillaGaming okay

Hey you should do a playthrough of War of the monsters for the ps2. By the way, what difficulty are you playing this on
I totally keep forgetting about War of the Monsters, I have the PS2-to-PS4 version downloaded on my PS4! Also, I believe these runs are on Normal difficulty.
I always think they should make a sequel to war of the monsters with tons of new monsters and arenas as well as multiplayer and levels to choose

Why mothra as more health points than rodan?
Super godzilla gaming waths ur favorite kaiju of unleashed?
Cuz mine is mothra (cuz look at Leo version in the game!)
Godzilla 1954 is my favorite character to play... which also kind of sucks, since he isn't available in Training mode or Story mode.

They Could’ve Used The original design of Rodan From Rodan And The Rodan Seen In Ghidorah The Three Headed Monster Trough Destroy All Monsters

And Ghidorah the three head monster

Is the Wii or PS2 version better? I can't decide, and all of these walkthroughs and comparisons are making it more difficult. Not to say they're bad.
