Great video, Thank you for putting this online. I have had problems getting the correct angle, especially after tieing down a tarp. I most likely pilled my tarp tie-outs too tight due to an incoming storm with rain and winds. The top bars on the stand inverted on me and I ended up on the ground. I knew it had to do with the angle on the length bars being too flat. I kept trying to lift it from underneath, but your method of shaking it prior to installing the legs looks to be a better method to assure the proper pitch on the bars. I like the 5" you pointed out for the apex, when the bars are on the ground flat, to make sure the pitch of the bars has at a correct angle. I also tied the ends down with a tie-out on each end. A person can cinch the stand down too tight and flatten the pitch of the bars beyond where they should be.

I’m so glad this helped! I’m sorry we weren’t clear in our instructions before and that you ended up on the ground. We’d like to avoid that for our customers as much as possible. You are correct that cinching the leg cordage too tight will affect the angle of the top and the legs. Hopefully this video will help get the word out to anyone else who had similar issues.
