Im concerned about the regular type where i can just imagine the steel poles snapping and falling and hitting my head. Is there any risk of the poles in this turtebug or turtlefrog or turtledog hitting or falling on us for any reason? Thanks!

Question: Possible to buy one pair of legs and multiple ridge pole (lengths) for versatility? i.e./example: 1 pair of legs, a chair-width ridge pole, a full-length hammock ridge pole for camping? (or) are these only completely separate products? i.e. I must buy another pair of legs for a chair setup. Not clear yet on this question. I ask because there are three of us in the family (which would mean six pair of legs... yikes.)

Those feet options looked interesting. My Hive came with the rubber/silicone bottoms only, as far as I can tell.

I just received my Hive and it was a regular order, not a kickstarter / indiegogo. It is very interesting. I use it indoors in a bedroom that is 10 feet 8 inches. It took some special setup to do, but I got it all together and holding my Haven. (I bought a Hive because I couldn't wait for the Cricket redesign and the Turtlebug won't go long enough inside the bedroom due to the tripods.) To be honest, I'm glad I went for the Hive anyways because it isn't *that* much bigger than the old Cricket, so it gives lots of options.. like the big living-room when out camping. Two nights in, so far, so good.

Same for HIve, or did you go for lighter spring buttons?

i love the look of that for outdoors.. but I don't have enough room to use it in my bedroom *and* have room for a long hammock. I'll wait to see what the re-engineered Cricket looks like... though I already have a Hive set up in that same bedroom.

I can’t get mine to snap the hubs just fall off at each end. No snap. Is there something I’m missing to get them to stay on. I have them oriented correctly per your video.

That was a great video. It showed a lot more than the segments. That was the first time I saw someone get into the hammock with the Turtlebug. That told me a lot. Ingenious design.

I have seen the "cord stopper" used on desks for years. It is called a cap, and it allows wires to be routed up through a hole on the desk to your computer and such. In the case of the YOBOGear TurtleBug, I just call them "pole caps"! To me, the cord stopper is the little knot in the cord. How many "pole caps" (cord stoppers) come with the TurtleBug, and can additional ones be purchased?

Will there be cord stopper things®️ included in all of the sizes of the Turtlebug?

I just set mine up in the living room! quick and easy. i'm absolutely in love. I'm going to add some metallic sharpie marks so that i know when i'm getting close to the end and don't pull every single segment out before the spring clips snap into place, lol!
