I just got my cricket stand just set it up. I’d really like it if they had a video on how to put it away it’s in what order do you press the detent springs in and how do you put the legs away. It’s pretty fiddly to me so if there is a way to make it less complicated, that would be great.
I love my YOBO stand, using it indoors as my primary sleep system. I also have the tarp extension poles, which fit a 11' tarp perfectly. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for and then some.
I recently got to play with my Cricket, and I ADORE it. I do lots of camping where trees aren’t always abundant, so this is great to bring along. Being only 7 pounds, I bring it everywhere
Looks interesting - until you see the price... *_$835_* For the price of this stand you could buy *two* Tensa4 stands tricked out with all of the upgrades and you'd still have some money left over.
Yeah... Before I checked the page I thought, how expensive could it be? Maybe $200-$300 or something? But yikes, this is a hard pass for me. Crazy price for some metal tubes and cordage.
The shame of it all is that it looks like a sturdy, lightweight stand that packs down slim - something I'm really interested in. But for that price I won't even consider it.
I have the Tensa4 and the Tensa Solo conversion kit, so don’t really have an excuse to go and buy this one. However I think the price is reasonable for the design and the weight savings. Sure, this could’ve been made out of cheaper materials, but then people would’ve complained about the weight.
Does it work with the Double Dutch hammock setup? I have been trying to figure out a stand option for the double dutch that me and my wife love to use!
This stand does work with our 11ft hammocks, but you do need to make a bit of an adjustment: Untie the continuous loop and thread both ends of the loop on the carabiner. This shortens the 11ft hammock just enough to work.
I’d also like to know. I got mine from Dutch a few years ago but it was shipped directly from Tato. I had some issues with the quality of the black paint job arriving scratched up af. It was so bad I ended up negotiating a partial refund. Maybe Dutch had some quality issues along the way too. 🤔
Very interesting. I have a small backyard, no trees, in our new development, so eventually I’ll likely end up with for shakedowns and simply wanted to spend a night outside.
You can make a sturdy wood stand-out of 6, 8ft 2×4. 1, 14ft 2×4 and a couple bolts. Or do as I do and make one out of the same quantity and length sticks or branches, lashed together with paracord to make two tripods, with the longer one connecting the two for a ridgepole. I would recommend using branches/sticks that get no smaller than an inch and a half in diameter.
Damn that price is out there. The Eno Nomad stand is 15lbs looks like an easier setup in a bag for $250. Come on man ya could of worked out something more reasonable huh
Looks a great invention, but the price is ridiculous over 800 dollars omg 😳 I thought on the expensive side it might be 300 dollars...I suppose there are some millionaire hammock campers out there, unfortunately I'm not one of them.
I love the products dutch makes but holy shit man I can't justify 900$ after shipping and taxes on a stand like this lol yall got some rich ass blood to be campin like that
7 lbs, about the same weight as a synthetic hot tent, a lot less than a canvas one. I'm concerned about the durability of the tarp extensions. they don't look like they attach an a structurally integral way.

Great to see new products!

Will it work with a bridge hammock?

I love Dutchware gear. Keep up the good work. Looked at the price of the Yobo - Wow! $835
Expect it going up. Yobo's MSRP was $835........
Good lord what a rippoff
Trick! I’ll end up with one of these eventually.
Sign me up, the one I have been using is ~ 20 pounds and NOT a good backpack option. Super excited about this!
❤
Planting two large trees may be cheaper :) This is a great idea but that is a lot of money for a hammock stand.🤣
Yeah, $835 it’s positively absurd. 3 for that price might make more sense.

Great review but not the stand for me. Too big and bulky. Going to go for the single stand option
Great for a desert camp. Or a beach camp. Or the woods where suitable trees aren’t aligned with the view. Good for car campers.
Nice, wish it would work for my Hennessy XL that I added whooppie slings too. I need 14 feet to hange it.
Cool, but not 835 cool. I’ll stick with the free trees and hooks in my neighbor’s garage ✌🏼
Damn pricey. Someone needs to copy this stand and sell for less please
I'd like to see a smaller ( 5') woman put it together. Also the price seems a bit much 😳
A bit much? That must be the understatement of the year lol
what happened to the Tato Gear stand?

@@travisdoe4663 or make a Tensahedron stand out of 4 2x2x8 sticks and some paracord

I really like how this stand has a small footprint without the guy lines sticking out 20 feet in every direction.
Weight limit?
400-500lbs depends on set up.
I love the products dutch makes but holy shit man I can't justify 900$ after shipping and taxes on a stand like this lol yall got some rich ass blood to be campin like that
The price seems kinda high, but the carrying case is FREE!
$835.00 LMFAO.. I think I will stick with my 15-ft of paracord and 7 sticks I lash together..
7 lbs, about the same weight as a synthetic hot tent, a lot less than a canvas one. I'm concerned about the durability of the tarp extensions. they don't look like they attach an a structurally integral way.
REALLY! Who has $835 to spend on this? People with those kind of funds don't camp!
Hell yeah we do!
$76/lb for each lb it weighs and it weighs 11lbs. $800+ is steep. Ouch.
A used child's swingset will do if you don't have trees at home.
