It's ironic, if that's the right word, when Paul using his iPhone to make a video incidentally picked up Alex's voice just minutes before the murders which is the evidence that will put is father away for life.

@@GizmoRob176 why do you comment back on someone’s comment? Where does that come from. ? Are you trying to be a jerk are you trying to teach me something? Are you being sincere? I get the case . I’ve watched more than I should of. I understand things that I may of not understood at one point than the other. But what I said was a true fact was it not? They continued to tell the battery % up until they said @ 4 % Paul took a Snapchat video…. I know I heard that and I know they were getting to a point. The phone sent some evidence or took some evidence and at the time the phone was at 4% or even less when it did that final action before it went dead. Before they both “went” dead. That was my point.

I can't get rid of the feeling that he took his son out for a day on the farm, laughing and having a good time knowing he was going to unalive him later. Kind of like taking the dog for a day out before putting him down. What a horrid man.

He threw Maggie's phone out the car window. Took the guns used and disposed of those somewhere. They found the blood spattered raincoat, I'm not sure where. Maybe at his mother's. Got rid of everything he was wearing and changed clothing. Scrubbed the gunshot residue off his hands. Went back to the crime scene and called 911. But the phone forensics will show he's guilty. He wasn't smart enough to carry his premeditated murders out successfully.

I’ve figured it out the motive is that he killed Maggie out of anger for her wanting a divorce when he was going to be on trial for his financial crimes Paul on the other hand was a mercy killing as a lawyer Alec knew what was going to happen to Paul when he was tried for killing that girl in the boat crash. He shot Paul first so he didn’t have to see his mother die. Maggie was killed for revenge Paul was killed as a mercy killing. I think that’s the real motive not the he wanted sympathy for his financial crimes that doesn’t even make sense.
