    I loved hearing Murdaugh and his lawyers finally being publicly called out for their shameful behavior. It seemed this was all a sick game to them. Good to witness these lawyers with integrity and this VERY honorable Judge.

    I am so grateful that Eric Bland is speaking up for all of those that were innocently hurt by Alex‘s greed of money. Eric is speaking the truth about how Alex’s attorney’s treated the Sadler children! Dick and Jim have showed that they are exactly like Alex because they helped cover up. All the lies that Alex was still doing and blaming helpless adults that cannot take care of themselves.

      Things in the Satterfield case, things that he did to that case even after his murder sentence too. I personally believe that the Satterfield case started the pressure cooker that led to the implosion.
      She was the first to uncover the drugs. Paul's drinking seemed to escalate after her death. Alex took 100% of the money on this case only. Then Alex couldn't go to prison without trying to sabotage The Satterfield case only. The Attorney said Alex has to recognize what Gloria did for his family. In his drawn out self promoting speech, he made a point to say that Gloria was pretty much nothing to his family.
      Where was Alex when Gloria was found? What time did he leave. I just don't see him allowing her back in the house with the pills betrayal. Everything he's done regarding that case alone, she was nothing, was not one but of an asset, she didn't deserve nothing. Even saying the Satterfield name seems to look like poison in Alex's mouth.

He has free medical care three meals a day. Doesn't have to worry about utilities or even his laundry. Also he doesn't have empathy so he doesn't feel guilty about anything he has done. He will probably be safe in prison because of his legal knowledge and the other prisoners will protect him. WOW! I’ve been looking for this sentencing for a while and just happened upon it randomly. I saw Murdaugh address the victims after the their impact statements but now I think I need to rewatch it again after this because I think it will be a COMPLETELY different POV I watch it from this next time around. I recognize some of the names but I now I NEED to see it again because I have faced to the names and their statements so I think it’ll be a very worthwhile second watch. I haven’t seen the State Solicitor’s address the court that some of the victims’ Attorney’s referred to and the number of charges or money allegedly stolen so I need to watch that too now. Having said all that, the Lawyers for the victims made some pretty eye opening statements and described the details of the situation of their clients and essentially “outted” Murdaugh for his all the contradictory actions that he claimed to make when he said he immediately wanted to plead guilty. I didn’t know all the facts but I recall Murdaugh STILL saying that when he began to address the Court and victims in his opening remarks during his chance to speak; which was quite frankly very lengthy. I specifically watched his manner mannerisms during his testimony in his of Defense in his homicide trial & compared it to his own remarks when he spoke at his sentencing and also tried to compare them with his very particular “ticks” and “expressions” in this portion of sentencing. I found it confusing but sometimes telling. Part of me had trouble getting a good “read” but in other parts, I felt I might actually have pin pointed when he was “lying”, “telling the truth” and when he actually “felt some type of way”. I don’t want to “guilty” or “remorse” because I’m not sure that he’s capable of that but maybe I’m wrong, 🤷🏻‍♀️. Anyway, if all of the Attorney’s and then the victims who actually spoke up and all showed him so much respect, grace and so much compassion and forgiveness wasn’t tough enough, it was the last victim who literally broke down in tears that got me the most. The fact that he cried actually made me feel pretty emotional and that’s not an emotion I generally feel. He had me on the verge of tears. It was heartbreaking. I know he said he was “going to break” but it wasn’t for him crying as the other victims and the findings he learned about in the course of this case, that’s what got to me. Mostly because a huge part of me still believes he 💯 was crying tears of pain because of his own palpable pain and suffering because of the “intimate” relationship they had as well as what his wife had gone through. It was pretty obvious to me personally, that those tears “were very personal” on top of the other things he said about others and the case details he learned about. He was probably the most impactful statement imho; for me anyway. And I didn’t think that it would get any more impactful from hearing from everyone before him. I believe I understand why he’d asked to be on his prison “visitor’s list” for a “face to face” to discuss the “intimate details” he didn’t address in front of the Court. I know Murdaugh said “he would like that” but it would be VERY interesting to see if he ever has the BALLS to actually do what he said and look him in the face and answer all the MANY questions I’m sure he has and with truly good reason. I KNOW that Murdaugh may be one of THEE most, if not THEE most prolific and MASTERFUL pathological liar that I’ve ever seen in my entire lifetime next to Casey Anthony. He’s an absolute MASTER when it comes to lying and he’s so damn good NOW fully believe that MUCH of, if not all of when he testified, under Oath, at his own double murder trial was BS. I bought a lot of it but looking back at his “mannerisms”, “body language” and the specific “ticks” and “facial expressions” he had now NEED to be be looked at from an entirely different perspective after hearing the one Lawyer who represented the Satterfield family and then all his reactions to the other Lawyers AND victims from a COMPLETELY different “lense”. I may actually need to watch him testify in his own Defense at his double murder trial of his wife and child again too after seeing this. This was nothing short of completely unbelievable! I didn’t realize how profound an effect on me hearing the victim impact statements would have in general but especially the one they had on ME! This is why feel so compelled to watch everything all over again and look at it with a new found POV now! THESE statements DEFINITELY proved just how well he lied to close friends, family and pseudo family. It’s INSANE! 😮😢.

As a member of the public, it was clear that no one could even hope to attain the kind of legal dedication that Alex was given in all of this. The money that undergirded their enthusiasm came from the poor and downtrodden, those whom Alex had cheated. May God have mercy on their souls. Maybe. However, m y guess is ALL along that he got into some deep shiznit with the drugs and other shady things and the ppl' who took out his family will take out Buster if he says a word. Or expose Buster, or expose something else awful. I am only 50/50 on if I think that Alex wasn't supposed to be the target. If so, if any of that is even kinda' true, he CAN NOT come clean. Tht said, he IS the on ewho dug his hole, even if I am right. I have been sorry, DEEPLY regretful over things in my life, but I can't have "doing what is right" coming down and runing my life or those arond me. How much worse for someone in HIS shoes with HIS crimes? It is easy to say, "let me own up" when we ain't the ones paying for it. @@user-fc2xk3uv8y

    AleX sits there with a look on his face that appears to me, “I cannot wait to get up, outta this room and get back to my cell/pod. Where there are STILL people who I can STILL fool, manipulate, ‘help’. And will STILL give ME the gratification of people looking up to ME ME ME!!! Cuz sitting here listening to this is far too exposing. I cannot believe that I can no longer fool these folks. I am so much smarter and better than these people. These folks are so far beneath me. How in the hell were they able to expose the real aleX??!! Please get me outta here back to where there are still people I can prey upon. This is way too uncomfortable…, this is causing me to squirm Your Honor!!This is far too much TRUTH FOR THE REAL ALEX MURDAUGH!!!!!”
    HUBRIS HUBRIS HUBRIS…., yet he squirms!!!
    I’ve been listening to his jail phone calls on Phone Calls From Prison on UA-cam. He already has a hustle going on in there. Tho his ‘reward’ has regressed from millions of dollars to ramen noodles. The core nature is still the same. He is in there hustling people!!! He has ‘friends’ & he ‘helps’ people with their cases. So he is STILL managing to gain vulnerable people’s trust. He’s gotta gambling hustle going. So in a small way, “the dragon” is still being fed.
    DESPICABLE human being who STILL does NOT get ‘it’!!!
    Even in jail, it is STILL all about him. There has been ZERO remorse. ZERO humbling. ZERO accountability. ZERO concern for how he has tarnished and OBLITERATED his ENTIRE family. They STILL buy his bullshit!!! ZERO even mention of his victims/PREY!!! Just all about him in EVERY conversation!!!
    JUST SO INFINITELY TRAGIC!!!

    Every single one of these people that AM betrayed I feel for. BUT the two that I feel the worst for are Gloria Satterfield sons. One is special needs. It takes someone with a black hole in their chest where once beat a heart to do the horrific things he has done to his wife and son but it takes an even blacker hole in a chest where once was a heart to look not just one, two, three and even more people square in their eyes and with an outstretched hand to shake and promise these vulnerable and trusting people that they're in good hands
    Who does that? A.C. that's who. That stare of AM seriously jase really wanting to drive myself all the way to S.C. just too slap his ridiculous facial expressions right off his face...ggrrr. I truly hope everyone he stole from gets back what's owed. Those precious boys need to be first though. And to think Maggie and Paul may very well still be alive today had a very drunken Paul handed over the keys to his boat to someone sober. I'm 99.99999999% sure that had he dod that...Mallory may have very well been alive today. But because an extremely drunken Paul Murdaugh couldnt quiet his ego Mallory was TRAGICALLY KILLED and the dominic effect, in full motion, began its journey. Mallory's family was in the process of suing the Murdaugh family for the wrongful death of their precious Mallory. I believe that this is where AM panicked. Why did he panic? He was about to be outed and exposed as a drug addict and if that happened then Maggie and Paw Paw would be made aware of EVERYTHING AM was doing and had been doing for a very very VERY long time.

    • @isabellind1292
      @isabellind1292 Рік тому +1

      All the scapegoating won't change the facts that every single one of those adults who boarded the boat on the night of the crash (albeit, underage drinking) either hung out w/Paul because they liked him or because of who he was but no one forced any of them to go along for the ride.
      They are each as personally responsible for their poor choices for knowingly getting into any mode of transportation w/a drunk at the wheel, as the drunk at the wheel.
      As for the dysfunctional home these boys grew up in?! Alex and Maggie assigned their youngest son their "Little Detective" in order to police his father's drug addiction so they could manipulate him into wearing it like a badge of honor because they were too irresponsible and cowardly to leave their CHILDREN out of their adult issues!
      What did Maggie do when she found a stash of her husbands opioids in his bag (nice trusting marriage where spouses are snooping on each other, gross)? Why she called up her "Little Detective" to take care of it! Way to go mom & dad! Way to go!!!

    • @isabellind1292
      @isabellind1292 Рік тому

      And Maggie had only herself to blame for being out of the loop to her husband's swindling. It's not good enough when you've signed into a marriage contract to think so long as you keep your spending records in a pile on the passenger floor board of your car, that's the extent you need to contribute in participating in the family finances but most certainly when there are children in the picture. It's irresponsible.
      If the IRS had come knocking, she'd have been just as responsible as her husband for signing her John Hancock on any of their fraudulent tax returns. It's not good enough when the IRS come calling to profess you had no idea. Otherwise they wouldn't require your signature.
