As someone who recently visited Switzerland, is fluent in high german, and learn the hard way how Swiss people are very reluctant to speak hi in german, especially with other Swiss nearby, your videos have been very invaluable to me in deciphering Swiss German so that I can at least understand it
Thanks for these videos. There's nothing about Swiss German grammar online, so this is really valuable. Please do videos on forming the past tense, and also on declining adjectives and nouns. I really want to find out about that. :)
Thanks for the video! I was watching yesterday the video with the 100 verbs (again) and this is a great addition! Even the ghost in your house seems interested to learn more about irregular verbs :) The answer to the test is: Er sött ässe.
Hoy Andrea ! I have often noticed that you pronounce the "ä" rather like the "a" of "hat" (a), than like the "a" of "hate" (èèè) as here with the verb "ha". I don't really see the difference in Swiss-German between the "a" and the "ä". PS: I am French and thank you for your book which I bought in computer version ! MERCI VILMAL !!!
Love your content! I have a question, what is the difference between the verb "geh" and the verb "gä" I see that both of them mean "give" but, is there a difference in them? I took the second verb from your book. Thank you for the information.
How do you know when you have to change a word from wollen to wele or how you have to change the ü in dürfen into dörfe?? Do you think you can make a video on this topic? Because when you was talking about the spelling rules from German to Swiss German in your other video, i wrote them all down. 😂😂😂
Er sött ässe. ???? Ahahah danke für das video... und Ich werde einen Verweis auf meine these in deinen Kanal stellen, weil sie sehr nützlich ist... noch danke und.... Ich habe auch das erasmus-programm gewonnen aber in österreich (Schade, dass die Schweiz nicht zur Auswahl stand)

Thank you very much, Callum! You can find info about tenses in one of my other videos and I'll keep your other suggestions in mind! :) Good ideas!

Merci. Mais c'est vrai qu'à l'oral j'ai du mal parfois à différencier le A du Ä@@Sydy0101
OK, bon courage avec ton apprentissage !!!@@Sydy0101

@@SwissGermanBeginners Thank you very much!
Es gibt ein Ghost hinter dir :) Seriously, the editing tricks me. Are you using a green screen?
I know! There are always lots of weird things happening in my flat... no idea what that was! (no green screen..)

On your book, it's written "Ich bin" p. 52...so bi or bin???
You can use both 😊 sometimes we say bin, sometimes bi. Just another fun thing about our language.
@@SwissGermanBeginners Danke Leererinli 😜
@@lesterburhnam7272 😄😄
Ich habe eine Frage: sollte das letzte sie (3. Person Plural) nicht heissen die? Also zumindest in der Ostschweiz höre ich da die
Es ist beides richtig 😁
