Samantha, you always have the best eye candy! What an incredible 2022 you enjoyed and thank you for sharing all of your beautiful work with us 🤩 I love the progress you are making on your many Nora Corbett's, and I can't wait to see your progress on the HATS sampler :) Happy new year!
What a fabulous WIP parade Samantha!! I was smiling as you showed your Dutch Beauty. My friend and I plan to stitch it when she retires (so sometime in the next 2 years we will start). I already have my fabric chosen and am excited about it. Your projects are gorgeous and I look forward to following your progress throughout the year! Thanks as always and happy stitching!
I love watching your videos. The patterns you have started and going to start is the same ones I have or would love to have. We both like the same things. You have made beautiful progress on your stitching. I enjoy seeing it!
Samantha, I just discovered you about three weeks ago. I have been binge watching every day since! You are a delight! You have almost persuaded me to attempt a Mirabilia! I also love Hawk Run Hollow and you have inspired me to add the Owl Forest "Alice in Wonderland" to my "starts" list. Your enthusiasm is contagious!
Samantha, Thank you for another wonderful video. I love your enthusiasm. I agree with Pamela Williams, I am shocked that you would put holes into that wonderful card from your father-in-law. It should definitely be a heritage piece saved for your kids. I suggest that you make a copy of the piece and have it laminated. Punch your holes in the laminated piece, but keep the original pristine. Stay well. Best, K
I love all your projects and your stitching❤But I must say I would put that beautiful snowman card in a frame that is very special and all the other ones that he did❤
Samantha, thank you for sharing all of your stitching and your future stitching. I have Autumn at HRH but haven't found the fabric yet and I really want to stitch all the reindeer myself. Anyway loved them all. 🧡🌼
I had to laugh at myself, you know you love embroidery, I was watching your video as I worked on a gift for my friend's baby. Thank you for an enjoyable video.
Speaking of enthusiasm, you should be required viewing for all stitchers. You made me want to throw all my projects on the floor and roll around in them. And wow that view outside your window, I almost fainted. Beautiful projects.
@thesimplestitch thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement! It keeps me going! I’m currently dreaming up my next episode, see you in February ❤️
Love your positive energy❤ I can see you really love your projects, you can’t talk about them without smiling 😊 amazing Teresa Wenzler dragon, can’t wait to see you start it. Do your girls also stitch? Obv they watch Flosstube with you, so are they interested in trying some handcrafts?
Samantha, I gasped when you said you’re thinking of punching holes in the Christmas card from your father-in-law. Something so special I would put in a frame and tuck it in with Christmas decor or in a winter dough bowl. In years to come it would be a wonderful remembrance.
Samantha, you could always make a photo copy on card stock. That way you can protect the original for posterity! I agree, I would frame them too. I have antique postcards I've framed for Christmas and even a collection of Unicorn Christmas cards we sent over several years. They look beautiful framed!
Hello friend!! Wow I enjoyed your WIP parade so much!! You have so many beautiful projects going! I can hardly wait to see how sparkly the Emerald City turns out!!! Stargazer is one of my very favorite Miras!! I’m so excited to see your progress in 2023! Hugs❤
Samantha, it is always a joy to tune in to your floss tube, and I was so delighted to see you doing a WIP parade. Your bubbly enthusiasm for each project shines through, and inspires me as I make plans for my 2023 WIPS.
Not all countries have stopped Russian businesses being visable and purchasable! I’m in Australia and have just purchased the Alice kit from owl forest embroidery
Samantha, I love your floss tube and your stitching is beautiful!!! Do you stitch in hand or use a hoop? Please keep these videos coming as they are so very inspirational! Thank you!
I am always impressed by your projects, Samantha! Thank you for sharing with us... I'm especially excited to see Halloween at Hawk Run continue to take shape. -Leonie
Hi Samantha ! So great to see you and have this visit. Oh what GLORIOUS new projects you have on mind ! This will be yummy to see your progress as we follow you on your 2023 journey. Love spending this time with you. All the best , sweet girl ! xo marcia
Your makeup is very pretty on you. Oh my, your Luna stitch is fantastic. Love the colors. The Tiny Modernist stitch is stunning on that fabric. Thank goodness you can see on it because it will be fabulous once completed. You'll have to be sure to send the designer a picture of your finish.
I found your UA-cam this morning and enjoyed seeing your variety of whips. The 2nd Alice-in-Wonderland you showed I have that pattern and keep thinking I need to start it.
Welcome. You're stitches are beautiful. I did stockings for my husband and myself and my mother-in-law did the kids' stockings. My friend was also amazing artist and used to give out her art as cards. I have all mine saved in a scrapbook. I just love them. What a precious thing that you have. I don't know if I could use it for a floss card. when I have to cross pages, especially with a lot of stitches crossing over, I copy the area and cut and paste and tape together that section. Makes it so much easier than looking back and forth. amazing stitching - happy stitching and thank you for sharing your beautiful craft!
I love listening to you. Your voice is so uplifting and cheerful. Your projects are so diverse, making your stitching so interesting. I just bought two Christmas stocking patterns with beads. My question is--- what size needle do you use to run the thread through those small beads? Thanks for what you do.
Hi, Samantha. You are so ambitious with so many big projects. I gasped when you showed Spring Quaker. It was a Christmas present with the floss from my husband and my January 1st start. I never see my own projects on the screen and somehow I missed seeing you start this. I started in the centre with the houses and have quite enjoyed it. I have just completed my Wipgo requirement for January and now will pick up Spring Quaker again. Christine from Ontario
Love those WIPs and your plans look so fun! The Nora Corbett reindeer are super elegant! They'll adorn your home so beautifully during Christmas! Thanks for another great Flosstube episode, Samantha! 💗
Pumpkin Hollow Quilts did Autumn at Hawk Run and left off the two Halloween themed blocks because she had done the Halloween at Hawk Run. Try that. Love your work!
Amazing WIP parade. Love your Owl forest projects, thinking to start Alice and emerald city this year. Also stargazer and rapunzel, after I finish some Mira queens. Happy stitching
Hello fellow Canuck! Discovering flosstube definitely expanded my WIPs because of the exposure to all the amazing things I want to stitch! I’ve got the two OwlForest SALs saved but I bought some patterns from their France based Etsy I should probably do first. I’ve been experimenting with substituting other variegated flosses for theirs, can’t say if it’s better or worse but keeps the lovely dimension to their patterns.
I have an idea for your Snowman Christmas card. Lori Holt on one of her older floss tubes showed where she took a picture of the chart and printed in out on card paper. Then she glue it to chipboard. That way you can have the card and a floss card. Beautiful projects.
Sam, as someone who can't draw more than a stick figure but who also wants to respect that you can do what you like with your own possessions, I said a very quiet "Noooooo..." when you said you were going to punch holes in that snowman Christmas card 😜 Maybe take on board the copying idea? ...unless it's a copy already ☺️ But really, it's yours and do what you like! Thank you for sharing your stitching with us, as always ☺️ I'm inspired to work a bit more on my daughter's fairy!
It's great to see you this new year, Samantha! Your stitching WIPs are all awesome and your plans for the coming year are wonderful. Have a great January!🙋
Thank you for sharing your lovely work. I'm stitching Spring Quaker, too. I just wanted to suggest that you might consider saving the snowman card your father-in-law made if it's an original drawing. It would be a treasure for your children to have. You might even make a matching cross stitch from the design and save them together.
Hello Rebecca 🦋!! I think you are right about the snowman ⛄️ christmas card as it is an original. I could laminate it with extra room for the holes. I will think about it some more. Thank you so much for watching and I hope you will come back again soon. Take care and happy stitching. -Samantha
I'm so glad i found your channel. Hello from USA Ohio, It's so exciting. So love Spring quaker. What size and color fabric did you use? It's just beautiful. Such beautiful work you've done.
Loved seeing all your projects, I see that you have a love for Mirabellas. I really think you would Bella Filapena, I just started my first and I am doing Magwaylen. This being done as part of stitch along with Teresa Little Stitcher. This is also is suggested you could do any fancy lady, man and ducks(lol) see you soon
I am new to your channel and I love the art of cross stitch. I have been an avid stitcher in the past but have lost contact with places to get patterns and material. I have found many floss tube channels seem to do samplers only and I am more drawn to scenes. Can you give any suggestions for patterns and material? Are there Canadian sources for patterns and material you could suggest? Thank you Hugs from Alberta❤🇨🇦
I totally get how starting a flosstube changes how you do projects and such, I started so many more projects after starting a flosstube! I also don’t mind Kreinik and love the look of it! And can’t we all use a bit more fun fabric like Lori has 😂 great wip parade and looking forward to seeing your progress in 2023 😊
Hello! I really enjoyed your whip parade today. The “ Alice” and “Dorothy” pieces are so nice! I love the Owl Forest Patchwork Calendar. 👏🏻 Did the varigated threads come with the chart as a kit? I too was wondering how to order one ( I have a few on my wish list) with the ongoing situation … Have a great stitchy weekend ahead! Cheers, Marilyn 🧑🏻🦰🇨🇦
Hi. I have just bought Patchwork Calendar and the thread set for it from Owl Forest's UK site. (Thanks for enabling me Samantha :-)) I don't know if that is an option for you? The shipping is pretty expensive as it must still come from Russia? but it is definitely worth it imo.
I love that you love big projects. I’m the same! I also just purchased Shakespeare’s Fairies but I won’t be ready to stitch it for a while. I look forward to being inspired by your future fabric choice for that one.
No, no, NO ! You can't do any sort of punching to that beautiful Mr Snowman !!! Why don't you do a copy of the orginal, which you can then frame and then you could laminate the copy (before you punch him!), then you'll have 2 keepsakes ...and I won't have to fly from England to save Snowmen !!! 😂
What a wonderful 2022! I hope all of your stitchy wishes come true in 2023. Let me know when you start the Wizard and I’ll get mine out too to stitch with you!! ❤️
So excited to see Stargazer! I recently finished acquiring all the bits and pieces for her and she’s going to be one of my starts this month! It will be a few weeks before I get around to filming a FlossTube about her though, as I’ve got to finish up the last of my Christmas gift items first, hahaha! Very excited to discover your channel, and looking forward to your future videos!
On your father-in-law's card, maybe make your holes only in the top border and the right hand one and maybe also the bottom so that you won't lose the left hand border image. You can use the back of the card to enclose you hanging threads.
A wonderful and inspiring WIP parade. I have a question - Do you have any tips for stitching with Krenik? I love the sparkle also and I haven't used it yet on any of my Mira's or Bella Filipinas. I would appreciate any tips!! Happy Stitching.
Samantha your Emerald City looks amazing so far. I have yet to start mine as I was looking for the perfect green fabric for stitching with single thread. I haven’t yet added beads to my stitching but would love to know how you attach them. Keep up with the great videos
How are you going to finish your L Forest embroidery patchwork calendar? Before you started to show us the work I thought it was all going to be on one large piece of fabric. Will you frame them each individually and switch them out each month? They are truly beautiful. I just love Alice and the Emerald City also.
Hello Candace, yes when I use one strand I leave a tail and stitch over it, I have yet to master the pin stitch. Thank you so much for watching and leaving your your questions! See you in February ❤️!
Fun to watch but cringed when you said you might make the Xmas card into a floss card. My thought on it is to make a cross stitch pattern from it and frame the original

Samantha, thank you for sharing all of your stitching and your future stitching. I have Autumn at HRH but haven't found the fabric yet and I really want to stitch all the reindeer myself. Anyway loved them all. 🧡🌼
I would recycle store bought cards for drops but handmade cards - that snowman would be cute framed.
I had to laugh at myself, you know you love embroidery, I was watching your video as I worked on a gift for my friend's baby. Thank you for an enjoyable video.
You are so welcome!
Jane Hopkins looks amazing, as is everything you touch. I have several mermaids so I will definitely check out Sharkey Stitcher 🧜♀️
Thank you so much Rebecca for spending time with me!
I have little bird kitted up. I can wait to eventually start!

Oh I love the Halloween stitching projects. I have Luna as well. I haven't started her yet. But love her !!! Am really enjoying your video !!!
Oh thank you so much Bridget!
I’m starting Dutch beauty this month on a 40 ct and like you I stitch in hand
It's a beautiful design! I know it's going to be epic finished. I'm cheering us on!!
Your Stargazer makes me want to get mine out again!
Yes! love the floss card - that way every Christmas project you can enjoy it and be thankful for your Father in law. Excellent Idea.

@@rebeccajourney3183 I totally agree...preserve the original and have it framed!
Absolutely! I also gasped and wanted that beautiful card preserved. Punch holes in commercially made cards!
I actually think it’s a nice idea, you could enjoy looking at the artwork more that way
Yes I save my lovely cards and use less fancy/precious ones for floss cards

Put the date on the Christmas card so you can remember it.
Great suggestion! I will definitely do that. Thank you so much for watching Sonya. See you again soon. Until then Happy Stitching. -Samantha 🦋

You should make your calendar squares into an heirloom quilt!
Love your current and upcoming projects! Happy New Year!
I have to watch later tonight, but hi Samantha! Can't wait!
Project bags! Elizabeth Ann can stitch on youtube has an easy step by step tutorial on how to make a great project bag!
All of your work is beautiful. I like to do one project at a time I love to see it come to life. However I love to see all the WIP parades also.
Thank you so much!
You have so many beautiful projects to choose from. Will look forward to seeing your progress in 2023.
On Etsy now you can find the owl forest embroidery kits and pattern, but more expensive than before when they were selling their products themselves.

Have a great stitchy weekend ahead! Cheers, Marilyn 🧑🏻🦰🇨🇦

You could scan that Christmas card into an app that would turn into a Crosstitch design

When I finish the patchwork calendar I plan to make them into 12 project bags! First I need to learn how 😂 haha
I would get your
Father-in-law's card laminated first so it holds up much longer. Your stitching is wonderful!!!
Please don’t punch holes in the Christmas card. It’s so beautiful. I would sticky board it with a bow ❤
On the monthly calendar by Owl Forest, what type of floss are you using. The Color’s are lovely ❤
When you use one strand of floss, how do you do your starts? Do you leave a tail and stitch over it? Do you do a pin stitch?
Hello Candace, yes when I use one strand I leave a tail and stitch over it, I have yet to master the pin stitch. Thank you so much for watching and leaving your your questions! See you in February ❤️!
Fun to watch but cringed when you said you might make the Xmas card into a floss card. My thought on it is to make a cross stitch pattern from it and frame the original
