Hello all,
I went to the NOBAM retreat in Northampton last weekend. I did some filming of all the ladies stitching and the finishing table, so I could share all the lovely work and fun that takes place at retreats.

I am new to Flosstube, believe it or not! I never knew it existed until I looked up Cross stitch one day just about 2 weeks ago! A whole NEW world opened up to me! WOW!!! I am SO excited and happy!
Oh! I also love how steady you are with the camera, you know what and how to zoom in, and you hold the camera long enough for us to be able to take in an entire design to appreciate them!
You are wonderful at ALL you do here! What a pleasure and gift you give to us!

Oh W O W... I'm not one for fancy ladies and beads but those Mira's, Bella's and Chatelaines were just jaw dropping. There's a few I may need to add to my Want list not wish list but WANT list 😂
The finished table is out of this world, the first one I'm going to be getting is the witch with the bats around her head and the moon, it would be perfect for my mum

Oh my gosh.. they are all so stunning it makes me want to stitch every one of them. Some of those talented ladies sure are fast stitchers. I've only done one Mirabilia in my life and that was years ago called Christmas Elegance and I really love it.
Loved loved this video of the beautiful mirabilias. Thank you for sharing. I have some miribilia patterns and it is fun to see them stitched up.

OMG - Just gorgeous! Everyone is doing such beautiful work. Hard to believe. I belong to a quilt guild and at the last meeting I noticed a table of 4 ladies who had cross stitching going on. This is not usual at a quilt guild. So, I went over to introduce myself and check out their work. I do a little cross stitch and there is very, very little the line of cross stitch in our small city. They all had high end pieces of work in progress. One was a Mirabilia. I was thrilled. I asked them if their was a local group/guild and they said no. So, I am hoping they are at the next quilt guild meeting so I can see their progress. Thank you for providing this video Teresa. So inspiring.

PS LOVE all the accents. You even had someone from North America! I'm guessing from the Central US and not Canada. But, if she's military, all the moves could blurr the accent.

I stitched that one. It is called magic mirror. Design by Anne Stokes and Charted by haed. It is the mini version but stitched on 18ct hence the size

I would google USA stitching retreats, or some of the groups on Facebook will have some, sorry not being in the US i'm not much help.
oh my god, everything is so beautiful 😍, but I saw a finishes, the 5th one I think, it's in an old white frame, on the middle there is a little house and around they're are birds, squirels and above the house, it's a tree, it's in grey, white and maybe burgundy... how can I know the name of the pattern?

what does NOBAM stand for?
It’s “Not Only But Also Mirabilia” - originally was a Mirabilia only retreat but during the pandemic it was extended to include other designers so that anyone who could come, had a chance. There is now a Mirabilia only retreat in April and NOBAM in October, both in Northampton and organised by Zarina Hawkins (from Hawkins Hobbies).
