It’s amazing how, when you know where to go, this game is actually quite short. I started NG+ the other day and made it to Farum Azula in about 3 or 4 hours, prob could’ve been faster even. Of course I’m pretty strong now and it’s my third playthrough so I hosed the bosses, but still wow, what a tightly constructed game this is.

They present you with a relatively concise core experience but wrap it in a very rich and mysterious world and kind of leave it up to you to figure out what your experience will be. Much different from most open world games I can think of - though obvious similarities to BOTW, which I think also allows you to more or less run right up to the final boss and have a go, although the lore of BOTW and that universe is vastly simpler than that of ER.

Then you need to know what is the efficient strength everywhere to go through bosses the quickest. Longer preparation might not be efficient.
@@jankees4037 that's right. I just mean experience of WHAT to do not so hard as HOW to do. So when you know which stones you need and where it to get it's not so hard to train obtain process. But reaction on boss fights is a hard work and it should be trained for a thousands attempts. Sorry for my english. If it's afwul please correct me so i will be better next time. Oui on a carrément changé d'arme depuis, la route n'a plus rien à voir donc la vidéo est un peu obsolète maintenant malheureusement. J'aimerais bien en faire une sur la nouvelle route mais j'ai pas trop le temps pour l'instant.

Anyway I'm just dying at the location of a Stake of Marika so I can respawn on it, normal behaviour. Devs just didn't expect players to be able to fall all the way down from above I guess.
Effectivement, on voit le marqueur des runes, pour te guider vers ton cadavre quand tu meurs, il doit y avoir un moment où tu meurs dans la run, quand tu sautes dans le vide avant Radahn par exemple, et ça doit être le marqueur de tes runes

Good thing is as it takes an hour to do so, you can practise 5-10 runs per day to shave the seconds of.

Stake skip is still possible in newest patch, do the torrent double jump as soon as the death animation starts and you should get it.

Thanks! Jumping on the left is slower because the IGT timer doesn't run during a quitout

Its not a glitch, he died at the area of Radahn to get to respawn at the checkpoint. Officially its not seen as a glitch by the judges/community.
