How to use Variants in Neat Video

The Variants tool in Neat Video will allow you to create several variants of filtration and compare them.
Both novice and experienced Neat VIdeo users will find this tool helpful. Variants can help you with each step on the way towards perfect noise-free video. It will allow you to pick the best noise profile and get the filter settings right.

In my copy of NEAT 5.6 the selected area of variant #1 remains visible in variant #2 even after selecting a new area in a different place , so I end up with 2 different areas marked to build profiles in each variant, and that is messy. I am sur I do something wrong but I can't figure our when. Could you please help?

Hi Jef, thank you very much for your message. One of the selected areas might indicate the part of the frame that has been already in use (to avoid selecting the same set for profiling for the second time). However, you might be dealing with something else entirely, it's hard to tell without seeing what you are seeing. Could you please send us a screenshot with the two frames selected for profiling? Can you guys do a how to tutorial on how to remove the dust and scratches/jitters on the black and white old footage. That's may be the limitation you can push the Neat Video to solve the hard problems.
