Thank you! It was very important tutorial!
Straight to the point as always
Every time like a Christmas when I see your new vid! Waiting for more!❤
Simple and awesome! You're awesome!
No, you are!
Just add the noise bump trick and we have the perfect mirror :D
Gold contents as usual!
Thank you for the amazing tip and yes guys the original color for mirror in real life is green
Excellent video keep them coming👍
Very nice to see materials made
Simple, efficient, effective!
Thanks for the tip!
you are great man!!! these are the little details that makes the difference, thanks a lot!
Awesome tips, thanks for that!
Cheers from Brazil.
similar to what i do except for the green tint. Thank you. best tuts on the net 👌
Yeeees! Thank you for this! This has always bothered me but wasn't sure if it's just me being too picky about my materials. 😅 Good one! Cheers!
Gorgeous! I was using this technique for a long time now, and just for another good tip is to add some dirt or imperfections like dust to the glass surface of the mirror. It look SOOO much better even ! Thank You for reminding ! :)
Amazing content. Thank you
Wow! so much information packed in less than 7 minutes. Others might just start with the content after a 7min intro 😀
From personal experience I can only say, that this trick is worth doing. same thing btw with double glass windows!
Super!
Super! Very nice trick , i wish for trick like it in unreal 5 .
Thank you so much. your tutorials are really cool. could you please make a tutorial for realistic polyethylene bag material as well?!
A mirror like this looks very interesting and cool!
Could you tell us how we can do the same in the physical 3d max material please?
life saver trick
I used the same technic as you are. But I clone the front face to another element, ofset it to the back and make it chrome, so we'll have more correct as mirror in real life.
Huhuhu NICE
Existes any way of using falloff in absortion volume but on fstorm render?
I also want to know this issue, FS doesn't support the texture function of absorpiton.
Let's appreciate the fact that he needs to clean fingerprints from the mirror just to show us how to improve our cgi game!
🤯
Hi Vjeko, how to make realistic windows glass material? Thank you in advance
Nice idea, will see to cover that ;)
So I thought you couldn't add multiple textures on a geometry that has a editable poly modifier on it. I thought it needed to be just a editable poly. Does the multi/sub node take care of that issue?
Any object constantly has a material ID set up, with Edit poly or Editable poly or some other modifiers you can adjust that information, and it will stay in the modifier stack until you add a modifier that will change it again, Multi/Sub just reacts to information that is existent in the model.
Coo...learned something.
Chrome mirror realy is a hole in the wall 🤣
What is the Vray equivalent for Corona's Absorption Color?
I think it’s Fog color in material if I remember correctly
Great discover! Hope you'll do more discover of some things from real life and bring it to CGI world. Thank you!
Hello Vjjeko,
to push mirror even further what I recommend is to turn on dispersion in glass shader. It produces a chromatic aberration fringe to reflections which is physically correct and provides even more accurate effect. Here is an (slightly exaggerated) comparison:
regluar glass shader: gcdnb.pbrd.co/images/4cukceIc5F6T.jpg
dispersion turned on: gcdnb.pbrd.co/images/nECyDNB4PZUs.jpg
Looks excellent! Would use it if I have a mirror as a main product, think it would be a render killer for a casual mirror in a scene
Awesome tip!
thanks man! never thought of that. Unfortunately I watched this video after doing a catalogue of 140 mirrors 🥸
Ughh I know the pain bud, but there’s always next time! ☝️
Orr you can go the crazy path and re-do it again 😁
