Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fantastic!!!!! I love The Animals, and this song especially. I turn fourteen in a little less than a month, and this song has as much relevance to my generation as it does to the one it's intended for.
I actually remember this song. 1965 I was 7 and had already started really getting into music. Plus these guys are from just up the road so that helped.
Belive it or not i'm related to Eric Burdon and I'm 17 i've never seen him before because he lives in America but my folks have wen he used to live in the newcastle :)
Eric Burden wrote most of the material but they all worked at each song, all these songs are written from the views and ideas you get when you live where I live. These guys were really switched on and have wrote and performed the best music will get to offer, these songs continue to boast a dramatic impact on my life and facing the music!
As far as I know -Dave Rowberry always played the song live on a Vox--the record does sound like a Hammond--there is a video of them on theJoe Loss pop show doing it live
I'm aware of this-I'm also an organ player -I have Vox & -Hammond organs-and a 145 Leslie-any Vox organ could plug into a Leslie combo preamp 1/4 inch jack guitar cord-but that is a Hammond on the record -maybe L100-or the same organ they used for Don't bring me down --I think it's the same one they used on the Ed Sullivan show---it's in color-
The Animals only used a hammond on their last album Animalism. , and their first reunion one. Alan Price got sort of a hammond sound on Worried Life Blues.
...even weirder: just found out the guy that sung the other video that popped up "Today I'm gonna try change the world" is Scottish! IM SCOTTISH! Is this a sign I'm going to change the world?
There's one thing I've got to say There's got to be some changes made No more black or white No more left or right I'm gonna change the world, baby I'm gonna change the world, yeah! I'll switch the wrong to right (her on to right ?) You can bet your life, baby, bet your life Hold you far (cool your fire ?) and listen mister Don't cause no trouble for my brother and sister Why don't you look me in the face Either that or leave my place I'm gonna change the world, baby I'm gonna change the world, waah yeah! I'll switch the wrong to right (her on to right ?) You can bet your life, baby, bet your life, my life yeah! Forget about what your folks told you Make up your mind just what you wanna do Just accept people for what they are Or this old world won't get very far I'm gonna change the world, baby I'm gonna change the world, oh yeah! I'll switch the wrong to right (her on to right ?) You can bet your life, bet your life You can bet your life, just bet your life Well (..?) There's gotta be some changes made I'm gonna change this world I'm gonna change this world, waah yeah
This was weird. I was listening to house of the rising sun on my iPod and whilst it I randomly googled for fuck knows what reason "I'm gonna change the world" I'm only just a new fan to the animals so I never knew this song existed: so the two videos that were at the top of the results were this song an some other song sung by a Johnny Reid WHICH IS MY NAME What the fuck?!?!
I think synchronicity is fairly common when music is concerned...although I would advise against explaining this to a psychiatrist, they would have a field day! If you do end up changing the world, make sure you make it less of a shithole.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fantastic!!!!!

Absolutely brilliant track absolutely brilliant band . 😎
Always an underrated track and one of my faves from this band. I was fascinated by the Hammond organ sound @1.54 - 2.22 as a teen. Really powerful
though it's more than likely a vox continental keyboard doing that part
One of my ALLTIME fave Animal songs ever! It's never really mentioned....and I think it is one of their VERY best! : )
GREAT TRACK. = ALEX. UKRAINE
This man, THIS BAND, can do NO wrong! PERFECTION.!!!!! Bass & Keys, I just threw my computer and desk over at work& got the office honeys shakin!

GREAT TRACK. = ALEX. UKRAINE

I agree, Eric has one of the best voices in rock.

This song can enhance my confidence!
Belive it or not i'm related to Eric Burdon and I'm 17 i've never seen him before because he lives in America but my folks have wen he used to live in the newcastle :)

Long time ago..nice ! change crazy world 2017 !
Thanks for watching!
I think it's great that so many kids today are discovering the great bands of the 60's and 70's.
Great audo/vid! Sure sounds far better than my old scratched-up 45. Cheers, '62 Mathew St. (Total Retro Rock)

Thanks! really glad you liked it :)
I wish that happened it would if everyone would just wake up
this is the "im not like everybody else" (kinks) of the animals, a b side of a big hit that is far better than the hit itself
All radio station's play is House of The Rising Sun ? I have the best song's on a cassette,I love this track.
Yes it is, It was written by Eric himself.
GREAT TRACK. = ALEX. UKRAINE
Listen to the words. Live them.
As far as I know -Dave Rowberry always played the song live on a Vox--the record does sound like a Hammond--there is a video of them on theJoe Loss pop show doing it live
The new 1965 Vox organs could use Leslie speakers to give it that Hammond sound.
Yeah but Worried life blues was done with a Vox organ and a Vox AC-30
do you know exactly the chords that sound during the whole sound! And how does he play them! I cannot do exactly the same 😅. Thanks!
kick ass song
Luv
love this song better then house of the rising sun !!
I don't want to change the world just help it.
The White lion roars

"Make up yo' mind jus' what you gonna do."
Hi Mike,
Yes Alan had already gone, Dave Rowberry is playing organ.
...even weirder: just found out the guy that sung the other video that popped up "Today I'm gonna try change the world" is Scottish! IM SCOTTISH! Is this a sign I'm going to change the world?
I love this band can anyone give me any bands that are as good as this plzzzzzzzzz
No band is better!!
There are lots of great bands with a fiery spirit, but The Animals and Eric Burdon sure are special.
AMEN
Try The Kinks..;)
Them! And of course the 64-66 Stones.
#IStandWithParis #I'mGoingToChangeTheWorld
You're Welcome :)
There's one thing I've got to say
There's got to be some changes made
No more black or white
No more left or right
I'm gonna change the world, baby
I'm gonna change the world, yeah!
I'll switch the wrong to right (her on to right ?)
You can bet your life, baby, bet your life
Hold you far (cool your fire ?) and listen mister
Don't cause no trouble for my brother and sister
Why don't you look me in the face
Either that or leave my place
I'm gonna change the world, baby
I'm gonna change the world, waah yeah!
I'll switch the wrong to right (her on to right ?)
You can bet your life, baby, bet your life, my life yeah!
Forget about what your folks told you
Make up your mind just what you wanna do
Just accept people for what they are
Or this old world won't get very far
I'm gonna change the world, baby
I'm gonna change the world, oh yeah!
I'll switch the wrong to right (her on to right ?)
You can bet your life, bet your life
You can bet your life, just bet your life
Well (..?)
There's gotta be some changes made
I'm gonna change this world
I'm gonna change this world, waah yeah
Better than the "A" side.
What a voice Eric Burdon had, eh?
@@tonybates7870 Great voice, yes!🙂
❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉😂ERIK BURDON❤❤❤❤ VOICE🎉❤
1:06 is it me or is the book upside down
Doesn't the beginning sound like the sped up version of "it's my life"?
Sounds like the Sonics. But maybe all the '60s garage bands did.
I'll switch the wrong to right
This was weird.
@beatlefan64 not enough
Love this! This inspired me to create a video on How to change the world - I Reveal 3 Simple Strategies That Work!..
I'm interested lol; what happened when you were 9 that made you lose faith?
are you sirius: pink on blue i canot see the name of the song. i will thank if you will change the blue to: ted, so: pink on red i will see good!
I think synchronicity is fairly common when music is concerned...although I would advise against explaining this to a psychiatrist, they would have a field day!
If you do end up changing the world, make sure you make it less of a shithole.
Who played organ on this.....Alan Price ? I suspect Alan had left this time.
Dave Rowberry
I must disagree...that MGM LP does NOT "sound great in stereo-it's all fake stereo...
🫶🏽
decided I'm gonna make it worse
