I’m definitely a fan of Penelope, I’ll have to look for these two bottles. Thanks for your thoughts.
Both excellent offerings at affordable price points. Penelope is really doing some great stuff! Thanks for watching!

I’ve found I’m not a big oak guy. I recently have had the OF 1910 and a Sagamore DO and they are just okay to me. They did open up and did get better so I’d get them again. However I opened a calumet 15 for a Christmas pour and it was just okay and would not buy one. I was gifted the bottle and I will enjoy it but it isn’t a127 good bottle so it will not be replaced. I still haven’t picked up Penelope yet but I’m gonna get one soon. I will say you need to try the James Pepper bourbon and rye it is surprisingly good. The rye is a Ohio pick and I’m a big rye drinker so I really like it. Hope you have a safe and wonderful New Year. Enjoy!!
Happy New Year and thanks for watching!

I've had both of the Peppers and agree with you. Surprisingly good! Happy New Year! - Glenn
Wow completely opposite of my flavor profile. I love oak and love high aged well crafted Bourbon’s if it doesn’t have oak it doesn’t do it for me.
The funny thing about me, as I get older, and especially the last 4-5 months, I've REALLY started to enjoy/crave the big oakey flavor...goes to show you that individual tastes definitely change over time. Thanks for watching!

I agree I like the regular barrel strength better than the 9yr, but I still enjoy the bottle. Cheers
They are both well worth the money. Thanks for watching!
