    The tones mattered here almost more than the issue at hand. Definitely would have liked it better if the two different actors were able to have more similar reactions. If the girl being cheated on had been more aggressive or if the man had been more calm, we possibly could have seen different reactions from people around.
    I’m 100% against tracking of your partner. If you feel like you have to track them, the trust is already gone and it’s time to move on. Cheating is one of the cardinal sins in my book as well. There was no good guy in this.

      Ah, nice try, sweetheart. But absolute BS. It was the fact that the woman was the victim - it is justified. When the man is the victim "Well, you are allowed to see who you want" Not a single person said it was due to the guy's reaction. His reaction DID NOT play a role. When the woman cheats "Well, you werent filling her emotional needs" When the guy cheats "You clearly were thinking only of yourself"
      Nice try tho, but you failed.

      exactly, he was extremely aggressive like he might lose his temper, which is understandable after being cheated on, and of course being a huge guy vs a girl, you can call it a double standard but lets be realistic, clearly a girl would be more in danger vs the other way around....lets be real....so for it to be an even test, youre absolutely right, they would have had to both be calm or both be aggressive...otherwise you might assume she was with that guy to get away from him cause hes routinely aggressive and violent...the temper combined with the tracking could make one believe it was a pattern of abuse...the girl on the other hand just looked crushed and defeated so nobody is assuming she was abusive to him

    Unreal, everyone took the girls side when she got cheated on; but flip the roles and the guy is still the bad guy even though he got cheated on.

    Cheating is the ultimate betrayal which breaks trust and destroys relationships. It’s a slippery slope to track your partner’s phone as there can be many consequences for both you and your partner. But communication is always the key in any relationship where you address your concerns rather than to keep tabs on your partner.

    • @nicholashartzler2205
      @nicholashartzler2205 10 місяців тому +8

      If you get to that point is probably worth ending the relationship anyway. And hell find my friends makes it so informal having your partner's location to me kinda makes sense. I used to always share my location with several people so they could see which ditch i was located in lol

      If your partner was cheating on you and you asked due to your suspicions, they would deny it, obviously you need to take bigger actions such as tracking your partner. Its the only way you catch em.

    • @Summer_Gold
      @Summer_Gold 2 місяці тому

      The trust lost from having your location tracked is nothing like the trust lost from CHEATING. It's not comparable ...
      They might be tracking only to gather a irrefutable evidence of the affair, like some people in the comments have pointed out. Besides, if you really love each other and have nothing to hide, there should be nothing so bad you don't want your partner to know about your physical locations or even devices. A committed relationship without open transparency is not a relationship worth having.

      Yes exactly. Well actually more likely how someone would act if they just found out they were cheated on. His voice was a lot louder, he was standing over the table. The whole demeanour was different and she was a DV lawyer so she jumped straight to that conclusion. The woman who was “cheated on” came in very quiet and calm I thought. If she was a psycho screaming and throwing her water then I reckon tables would be turned. The woman who was “cheating” was acting scared and timid. The guy who was “cheating” was acting cocky and declaring his love for the other woman in front of her. Of course the the quiet, crying woman is going to be seen as much more of a victim than the bold, confident, intimidating male actor that walked in. Completely different scenarios.

      Tracking honestly is just as bad. It implies they're invasive to the partner's overall privacy and lack(ed) respect/trust in the first place... Regardless of what their partner was or is doing "behind their back" to make them want to TRACK someone's location like they're property (for example, Find my iPhone) ... You shouldn't take it in your hands to embarrass urself and the other(s). Two wrongs can't make a right and it doesn't make neither of them better than the other because they just simply need to be with someone they enjoy/trust.
      The tracking partner more likely than not gave their tracked "partner" they "love" and "care about" more of a reason to want to get away or cheat... Just as the tracking partner probably felt like there was something fishy going on. Doesn't excuse cheating or tracking but tbh if you don't trust someone or the relationship sucks, just end it.

    I don't like how people were sympathetic towards the woman & NOT towards the man it feels very much like gender discrimination BUT I do feel like the male actor did come off a bit too strong & he did look like a bit aggressive in his approach & by the time he turned it down a notch it was too late. I would hope that people would be sympathetic towards a man if he was cheated on. It seems like in this scenario people were trying to blame the man for tracking the woman's phone BUT when the woman tracked the man's phone people swept it under the rug & it didn't pay it any attention. I would hope in the future that people would be more sympathetic towards both genders & NOT just one gender.

    I think a major factor is that people both cheated on partners were hurt and having strong emotions, but a solid looking big dude who is rightly pissed off and turned up, is seen as a threat and the docile hurt woman is seen as very non threatening. The reality is they are both hurting and can both use kindness, love and a hug. The guy who acted this way was hot with anger but when he’s alone at night will probably cry over the betrayal and loss, or at least be on the verge of tears trying his best to hold it in. He also needs that loving hug too.

      That's how you can tell that it's staged, meaning that they're probably are some scenarios that don't fit the TV's narrative and agenda, but they just air those ones.
      I personally think the government shouldn't track anybody, it is an invasion of privacy, however, between people and people, it's 2024, your loved ones or someone you trust should always know where you are, period.
      The View and the WWYD narrative and agenda is that everyone would have the same opinion as the hosts and co hosts and it is very leftist. Notice how the view co-host was all for the guy being tracked and invading his privacy, and then she tried to say it's okay because he got caught cheating.
      _That_ right there sends the viewpoint across the media (t.v. shows, news, etc.) to the masses (us people) that it's okay to do something wrong, (illegally invading one's privacy) in order to "catch" you're doing something.
      What the first customer girl said and did proves my point, because she has the same perspective as a co-host of The View.

    To be fair, the female actress came out crying and most people would take that side. But the male actor came in looking like he was gonna deck someone, or beat up on his girl, so of course folks would react by standing up to him for the girl's safety.

    Wow!! Immediately they assumed she was a victim of abuse because she was seen with another man?!! However, when the woman does the tracking and confront the man about cheating?! It's okay.
    It's truly unfortunate that people automatically assumed that a man is the bad guy rather than a woman until, it's on the news. But still find a way to make a woman a victim regardless of the situation.

      At the end of the South Park episode Scott Tenorman Must Die, Cartman got revenge against Scott for taking advantage of him, when Radiohead showed up & watched Scott cry, they mocked the fuck out of him & fucked off. No-one attempted to comfort Scott, in fact Kyle even said to Stan "Dude, I think it's best if we never piss Cartman off again".
