I want to thank you for being the inspiration and instructor that you are, being a soon to retire firefighter I have gotten into very amateur level wood working and watching your videos I have increased my abilities beyond what I even expected. So thank you! Keep up sharing your videos as they are very helpful to us weekend wood workers!
Holy cow, I just learned a cool trick hidden at 3:10 into this episode... I've never thought to use a compass as an offset scribe! David used it to scribe the outside line referencing the inside edge. Looks great for circles and irregular curves, but why not use a compass to scribe straight lines down the length of a board, too? Always cool to watch others work -- you never know what they're going to teach you while they're teaching you something else!
We looked all over our router and we couldn't find the farm animal setting, you must have a really fancy one. Hey, 'sand in the place where you live' is back, yea! We don't care what anyone says, using the CNC isn't cheating! Another great video, Clamp Champ!
Nice job! It’s a small world I actually met you grandpa before I saw your video and found out the connection. It’s a great thing he’s doing not only for others but for himself. We live just outside of Gibsonburg. Keep the great content coming.
Such an in formative and interesting video and a good delivery from you. I really like the moving of one clamp while leaving the other in place. Thank you...I can hardly wait to try out my router again this weekend! 👍
I did not plan to make use of this woodworking book, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* but instead curious about it. I had been truly amazed right after trying it. I was seeking to learn more about the art of woodworking, and was not disappointed. I found many topics such as wood types and designing your workshop.
Great vid! I’d add one tip: when you were rounding the edges of the desk organizer on the router table, it helps to do two things to prevent blow-out on the end grain. 1) route the ends first, so if there’s a little bit of blow-out, you cut it out when routing the sides 2) use a follow board to reduce blow-out.
The class. It's great that the man has so many great tools. And there are hands growing from the right place that they know how to use this tool. I'm glad for the bearded. The video is useful, from a series of simple forms, a template and a bit of skill and dexterity. And voila you have awesome product. Five, no ten points out of ten. PS: Бородатый это комплимент. Bearded is a compliment
I look forward to making these bowl thanks for sharing these cool projects. I love your channel, I get a lot of ideas and inspiration. All the best to you and your family.
I sell dozens of these. Mine have cut outs for soda cans or cups a 9x13 flat area in case you want to do homework or write notes. A rectangular cut out to place remotes, glasses or snacks. Keep it handy by the couch, no spills.
Make Something on a Monday? Yes, please! Cool project, David! I don't know which one I like best. It looked like a beardy comic/clip art when you were putting the first two pieces together. ha ha
Thanks for the interesting ideas. The projects came out great and will make good gifts. I may have to make some of these for a couple of people on my christmas gift list.
You didn't call attention to it, but I like the idea of keeping the octagonal bowls connected together while you route them. It is more secure that way. Chuck, I enjoyed the animal sound effects. You might want to add a screaming goat to your collection (too many Grinch commercials) or the Wilhelm scream (possibly when something falls to the floor). Let's just have some fun.
Personally, the very entertaining "Baaaaahhhhh" sounds are much preferable to the sound of a router. I think this should be incorporated from now on in your videos. You could mix it up a little as well. Maybe a cow mooooooh for a miter cut. Seriously. Entertainment meets woodworking education. Excellent!
Love how these turned out. You are always inspiring me to try new things that I may not have thought to try before. Items like these look intimidating. But your videos make them way more approachable. And... it's always fun to watch!
CHECKED IT!!!! As always awesome video great ideas. I was needing a video on the router and doing this type stuff, now just need to be brave and try it (you make it look so easy)
Great video! I’m glad to see that this process is a mess for you too. Awesome tips about the sanding pad for the drill. I have been sanding by hand and it’s a pain.

I really enjoyed this old video, no fancy tools, just good creative wood working. Thanks for the video.

I'd like a plugin that automatically replaces all power tool noises with farm animals, please and thank you
hahaha!!!
Yeah, I didn't hate that AT ALL
If that doesn’t happen randomly again in the future we will all be missing out. It’s the next sand in the place where you live.
Nice fix for a ba-aa-aaa-aad sound problem.
If Evan wrote that, I understand but if Katelyn wrote that, I'm worried about you Hun!
I’m glad I watched this. That foam insulation piece on top of work bench is a good idea.
Can a UA-cam video win an Oscar for best sound engineering? I say yes, and this video is the G.O.A.T!
Hahahaha!!!

Love the choice of music. I like the look of the bowls
Made this look so easy 😮
Great router project! The Square space plug was a great bonus too!
That foam insulation trick is a real killer trick. And I think I'll definitely be making some router bowls this year! Thanks for the ideas!
Plus, you get pink dust flying out to tell you if you've gone too deep
Such an in formative and interesting video and a good delivery from you. I really like the moving of one clamp while leaving the other in place. Thank you...I can hardly wait to try out my router again this weekend! 👍
Thanks Dave I’m a beginner to the way of the Router you have helped me with a ton of tips just by watching you.

Nice. Just made a desk organizer but used a scroll saw. Will make a template and try it again with a router.
Dope music, sick drumbeat, ice cube reference, amazing woodworking and tips....
Just wish I could give TWO thumbs up!
As always, SPECTACULAR work!!
Really cool - had never really thought about being able to carve a bowl without a lathe, but this looks totally doable! Great stuff as always!
I like the look of these! With mixing the wood types and shapes your versions look very different. Very cool!

Verry nice work! Love it!
Great thanks man!! now i got to tell the wife I need a new router bit lol
Great trick sanding the edges of the half rings to mate them up without gaps. I'll be using that soon...
Awesome, great project just as conversational pieces that you actually made something yourself. Love this. Cant wait to do this.
Slow motion wood chips are the best!
Nice bowls. Good few methods to get you thinking 👍
Those are some super projects. I’m thinking perhaps making something like that for Christmas presents next year.
Well, goats, much like a router bit, pretty much eat through anything. Well done and always entertaining!
Very good ideals I might have to try to make a bowl my self you do very nice work
Instant classic as always David. Love it!
I always love these quick easy projects.
very efficiently explained - you are to be commended

Love the variety of options and ideas!
Great project. I’ve got three of these bits back in the shed (all different sizes) now I know what to do with them. Thank you 🙏
Video editing on point!
Even if the project of the week is not something I’ll ever make, the entertainment value is too high to pass up. Excellent as always!
Loving the bleats and breaks. Now I need a router bowl bit - I tell you, I've amassed a load of tools since starting to watch you Mr P!
Rockler makes a great dust port attachment for all tools. Look into it because it will cut the mess and dust down significantly
pft bowls looking good !
Excellent projects
Videos and process
Thanks for sharing...
Dude I'm going to make something!! Really enjoy your channel
Thank you!
Great work man. Guess it’s time to try a router bowl
Beard is coming along. I like the bowls. Nice change from the lathe work, and the jigs make 'um production reproducible. Nice work as always!
Love your stuff !!
cool projects thanks
Beautiful work as always. Great tips on how to use the router. you are motivating me to do more with my router.
Oooh, router projects.
Oh... You need a bloody great workshop as well.
Ho hum.
I learned so much more than I came here for
Really nice!!
The Christmas gifts I am in the process of making might just be irrelevant now! Awesome builds, David.
I sell dozens of these. Mine have cut outs for soda cans or cups a 9x13 flat area in case you want to do homework or write notes. A rectangular cut out to place remotes, glasses or snacks. Keep it handy by the couch, no spills.

Now that was cool. Keep the projects coming. I love it. Thank you.
Bravo pour votre travail. C'est superbe. Merci
Cool ideas man! I have one of theses bits, now I’m definitely going to use it!
I feel 4:49 was the best representation of standard wood shop noises that I have heard in a UA-cam video to date.
Awesome builds.
Still killin it Dave! Even with chuck around ;) haha. Great video
very very good
Make Something on a Monday? Yes, please! Cool project, David! I don't know which one I like best. It looked like a beardy comic/clip art when you were putting the first two pieces together. ha ha
You make it look so effortless. 👍🏼👍🏼
Not sure if you mixed the music on this one but that snare sounds dope AF. Beard is looking good too!
I did! Thanks!
Good content. Jarring editing.
Very Nice
Nice!
Love this. I don't have a lathe to turn wood. This is great way to make bowls. And thanks for the "sand in the place where you live" this time. Lol
Very nice job. Just proves lathes are a nice tool to have but if you don't have one this is the way.
Wow, lovely work, thanks for share Best regards from Tijuana

I want to have a play date at your workshop lol
Nice video
Cool ideas and I like the music, too.

You have convinced me to try this. Nice looking bowls David.
That goat sounds are awesome dude..loved it😄😄😄😂😂😂
Very nice 👍🏻!!!!! I love to see your videos dude!!! I have learned I lot from it. Thanks !!!!!

Well, I know what my family is getting for Christmas this year.
Love the video as always!!! So happy I just bought my first small handheld router, now ill have to go buy a bowl bit!
I was wondering where you got the sanding attachment can not find anything like that, and what is the conditioner you used on the round bowl
Great video! I’m glad to see that this process is a mess for you too. Awesome tips about the sanding pad for the drill. I have been sanding by hand and it’s a pain.
What was the finish you were rubbing on these projects?
I like them because they don't require to much of the more expensive woods to make.
Subscribed, good stuff.
And a million other tools! 🤣 Amazing stuff tho dude! 👏
