I don’t get why people say that they’re gonna quit the drums after seeing someone do really good. Honestly it’s more inspirational to me then anything.
This is proper. Not only are the parts perfectly accurate, but you can watch the easiest way to play them. This is a must watch for any drummer in a cover band. Nice Painkiller,by the way. I've always wondered how to do that part efficiently lol :-)
Not perfectly accurate. Drumming shouldn't be about finding the easiest way of doing things, rather, the RIGHT way. For example: Hot For Teacher was ass backwards. Double bass FIRST, THEN toms, THEN bell of the cymbal, THEN overdrive.
@@RyanConnell5150 The "right way" to do HFT would be to record two bass drum tracks and overlap them in that case, since thats what max van halen did originally. Hertas like that at that bpm are borderline impossible to do on bass drum without tons of practice with the heel-toe technique.
Hi Vadrum. I just want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart for your videos. I use your videos like medicine, when I have a lot of ticks, as I am diagnosed with Turettes syndrome (Not verbal, fortunately), and it can really take the top off my chaos inside my head by following your rythms inside me. So again, thaks alot! Yours Sincerely, "The Ticks'ling" -Jesper from Denmark. P.S.: No, I'm not a drummer myself... ;-)
Video spettacolare!
Which of these 50 drum intros do you like best? And if your favourite one is not there, let me know title and artist..! :-D Quale di queste 50 intro di batteria vi piace di più? E se la vostra preferita non è inclusa, fatemi sapere titolo e artista..! :-D
Megadeth, Van Halen and Judas Priest should really take the cake here. Obviously the most interesting drum intro's in this vid. Besides that Toto and Led Zeppelin (The Crunge) deserve a nice mention.
The best recording sound i ever heard on drums. I could sit and listen to it all day. It left me with the anxiety for more. i would like to hear complete tracks of songs in drums these way. Its absolutly beautiful.
About 2 mins in right after the 6:00 intro I was thinking you have to do Run to the Hills then right after Pain Killer. Then you did it. Wow I am impressed
I was so sucked into sunday bloody sunday that dream theater made me physically shake, fucking spot on. That snare is fucking beautiful and your hat control is enviable
Who’s is this guy ? Absolutely genius , my greatest congrats . Beside the fact that you sound great . Your idea of laying down drum lines and most important harmonizing it in all the toms with perfect tonality
Fun, clever, super well-executed! Love the signal processing and overdubs. God has given you a wonderful gift. Not easy to string all that together in one take!
Giant THANK for the JOY, Andrea! Excellent quality again, both playing and sounding. I hoped well that You include Deep Purple's Fireball intro too. Could have been a bit longer. From ZEP I,d put in When the Leevie Breaks too.
Wow awesome work vadrum! I remember you from the super mario medleys you fucking kick ass bro!!! This was amazing, so many awesome ones in the end, hot for teacher, territory then polaris!! Great video!!!
that snare sound is orgasmic.
Its as orgasmic as the studio verson of Tool Pushit
or any other song by Tool...
Pretty sure that's the 12" Melody Master, Mike Portnoy's signature snare. I have it, and can confirm that it is orgasm in acoustic form
Only if one is into torture.
I don’t get why people say that they’re gonna quit the drums after seeing someone do really good. Honestly it’s more inspirational to me then anything.
cos there was nothing new for me in all of it, after 25yrs (started the penny whistle)
Time to play "spot the Led Zeppelin fan"
Jacob Jubinville if you play drums you're automatically a zep fan
Oh here, pick me, here...
Jacob Jubinville when 99% of your songs are about love
I play drums but I dont like the Zeppelin that much
I mean who wasn't??
Back when UA-cam drummers were more humble and fun to watch
The van Halen - Hot for teacher was soo damn spot on! amazing man! keep it up!
collzith21 actually not.
@@philfleetwood2618 actually yes
Actually not.
The playing is obviously good, but the ability to remember all 50 in a row without pause, cuts or hesitation is what really impressed me.
I was already hyped when I saw 6:00, but Honor Thy Father took my hype to another level.
And FUCK, Painkiller was perfectly awesome!
The Rosanna groove blew my mind
It's fo frkin hard to get right and not have it sound like you're just a robot
oh yes!!:) and the transition to Come together into Rosanna is so good sounded!! you re absolutly right !!! :)
Jean Baptiste Origal No, the absolute best transition is painkiller - honor thy father - fireball - hot for teacher. Absolute.
Exactly, it's not a hard part, but one could spend their whole life perfecting it
This is proper. Not only are the parts perfectly accurate, but you can watch the easiest way to play them. This is a must watch for any drummer in a cover band. Nice Painkiller,by the way. I've always wondered how to do that part efficiently lol :-)
Painkiller!!!!

Not really.

@@jalmarivartola2286 comment invalid because "Max Van Halen" is not the drummer for Van Halen
This guy nailed Honor Thy Father. Respect!
When I saw the octobans placed there I knew 6:00 was coming eventually, and I guessed right!. Excellent playing, and great drum sound by the way!
You really did them justice, "feeling this" was awesome!

P.S.: No, I'm not a drummer myself... ;-)
Thank you so much for the Sepultura intro. We, drummers from Brazil, appreciate it!
Most of these are completely spot on, if not slight more difficult than the actual version. I love it.

I would have loved to hear some Tool drum medly like Lateralus or Ticks and Leeches. A great video nonetheless!
Wherepostrockdwells Holy shit, yes!
He could do an entire video of TOOL drumming patterns.
The fact here is that you do not only had a great video idea...you bloody nailed all the genres!!! Great Andrea!!!
territory nearly killed me.....that was freaking beast
agreed
I could watch this guy all day....Awesome job dude!
i came just to hear you playin' the painkiller intro, im glad you did it.
That was amazing. Your kit sounds fantastic. Watched thousands of drum videos, can't believe I haven't seen this one before. Subscribed.

Megadeth, Van Halen and Judas Priest should really take the cake here. Obviously the most interesting drum intro's in this vid.
Besides that Toto and Led Zeppelin (The Crunge) deserve a nice mention.
Nirvana - scentless apprentice
Tool - Ticks and Leeches, i wish that was there!
So glad you're back! Been with you since the beginning!
Props for including Song For The Dead
This is most excellent Andrea. Right into my VADRUM playlist. You are way to awesome. ROCK ON!!!!!!
6:00 (dream theater), best drum intro ever !
It should be the first intro here
There is no 6.00..
Terra Incognita Gaming 2:28
arrackattack it's simple math man !
Terra Incognita Gaming 6 : 00 (six o clock) is a Dream Theater's song
spot on. never cease to amaze me brother. you have been a huge inspiration for all these years! keep it going!
Once he goes Iron Maiden the badassery begins!!
The best recording sound i ever heard on drums. I could sit and listen to it all day.
It left me with the anxiety for more.
i would like to hear complete tracks of songs in drums these way. Its absolutly beautiful.
152 guitarists ended up here by mistake
Darius Khan 11 more, they do have a tendency to get lost huh?
Guitarist here, liked the shit out of this.
I think you misspelled DJs wrong
Rebel With a Cause misspelled wrong? so he spelt it correct?
About 2 mins in right after the 6:00 intro I was thinking you have to do Run to the Hills then right after Pain Killer. Then you did it. Wow I am impressed
Who else waited the whole time for Painkiller? xD
Hell of a drummer. Hell of a snare. 12/10.
Didn't see Honor Thy Father coming... Good stuff!
Grandissimo. Ottima idea ma soprattutto grande messa in pratica! Complimenti
Awesome! You covered almost all the famous drum intros i could think of! The only one i'm kind of missing is Blind by KoRn :)
That was excellent! The Picture in picture stuff was great! And the best part, I knew most of the songs!
ドラムサンプルに詳しいHip Hop好きにも楽しめる!!
I'm curious; all the songs you've made have been of the Dance and/or Pop genre, but what genre do you actually like and prefer?
I was gonna be annoyed if he didn't do Smells Like Teen Spirit. Guys pretty awesome. Forgot Sultans of Swing tho...
Mitchie M?
本人で草(lol)
One of the greatest drum videos I 've ever seen.
Brilliant, I only missed "Stargazer"
Wow! That was incredible. So many different musical styles effortlessly played. Pure virtuosity on display.
bad ass drum kit you have there
Amazing!! I have been playing for 40 years much respect!!!
4:20 BEAST MODE.
When it's 4:20, it's always beast.
5:26 BEAST MODE V.2
RUST IN PIECE, the best one for the end !
I would have love to see Trust by Megadeth in that Medley. But anyway, brilliant !
Whew!! This guy never ceases to amaze me!
05:26 Sepultura!!!
The whole time I was hoping you would do No Excuses, then you did near the end! Def one of the best drum intros!
Awesome to see 6:00 in there...
Yeah I know. I was hoping for some DT
+Jordan Shain Well you can tell there is going to be DT once you see those octobans
this is so good..! Nailed it bro, nailed it. And loved the intermissions ;)
Aw yeah painkiller
I was so sucked into sunday bloody sunday that dream theater made me physically shake, fucking spot on. That snare is fucking beautiful and your hat control is enviable

Sempre il migliore! Rust in Peace, Hot for Teacher and Painkiller were kickass intros!
Greetings from Caserta!
B U E N I S I M O !! te sigo desde el Nokia 1100 (ºxº)
Great job on the processing as well... cool that you added reverb and other effects that were also part of the drum intro's sound.
Hi. What snare and drumhead you use on it? the sound is absolutely amazing!
Who’s is this guy ? Absolutely genius , my greatest congrats . Beside the fact that you sound great . Your idea of laying down drum lines and most important harmonizing it in all the toms with perfect tonality
Ozzy- Over the Mountain???
The drumming in that song is fuckin boss
uuuuuaaaaaahh! Excellent! I couldn´t even remember all songs not to say to play them so cool!!
haha, 6:00 by dream theater, best intro ever apart from all the led zep ones!!!
Just as amazing as always Vadrum!, the picture-in-picture moments made me laugh a couple of times too!
Actually 5:49
Woah bro, you could, like, play the first minute of any show with, like, any band. Rad.
some beast and the harlot would have been in order.. stellar stuff never the less
Huge tone and talent. As a guitarist, I can sit and watch your videos all day! Well done.
No ticks and leeches!?
That transition from Painkiller to Honor Thy Father was pitch perfect
Fun, clever, super well-executed! Love the signal processing and overdubs. God has given you a wonderful gift. Not easy to string all that together in one take!
That was awesome - and new viewers keep watching, the best stuff is in the end :)
A M A Z I N G! Your drums sounds perfect! Congratulations!
I would have been so sad if Painkiller and Hot for Teacher hadn't been in there. Nice medley - great job.
Hi Vadrum. This is the first of your videos that I just watched right now. Instant subscribed. Amazing job! Please keep doing it!
I freaked when I heard Peaches en Regalia. also that rosanna was spot on. great video!
That's why i love drums ... great come back !
Damn! Probably the best video i have seen in a long time :)
Hello again! I forgot how good you are, and how i enjoy your funny videos!
That transition between U2 and Dream Theater was NIIIIIIICE!
Mi aspettavo anche una Where Eagles Dare degli Iron Maiden! Ma rimani sempre e solo un grande Andrea! Tanta stima per te! :)
I was sitting and waiting for 6:00 and Honor Thy Father by Dream Theater to come. And they actually did. Good job!
You’re incredible fucking skilled. And the sound quality is like an ocean of honey running through my ears! :)
Duuuuude! That was sick! Nice man!
Wow!!! Amazing. Thats the best painkiller (judas priest) intro cover i ve seen in UA-cam. Congratulations!!! Regards from Spain.
Yeah, ONE FOR TERRITORY!!!!
You absolutely nailed every song!
OOOh this was killer stuff!! Bad ass man!!
Great timing...a pleasure to watch...a call out to my late friend Alan Hugh Forsyth ...miss you buddy...thinking of you !
You played every song I expected and surprised me with a bunch of other! HATS OFF
Awesome man. Every intro sounded on the money to me. Impressed by The Crunge and Hot for Teacher
You really made me smile when you do the 'Walk this way' and you pop up with the turntable and the cap :)
Jesus Christ brother - that was awesome! Skills, and I appreciate the laughs in-between.
Giant THANK for the JOY, Andrea! Excellent quality again, both playing and sounding. I hoped well that You include Deep Purple's Fireball intro too. Could have been a bit longer. From ZEP I,d put in When the Leevie Breaks too.
I,m an idiot. Coz: 1.) Levee. 2.) It's included, but at first I missed the starting.
Hey idiot
Paul Kim OK, you,re right, I accept.
Lol
Yeayea
Holy shiiiiiit dude! That was fucking awesome! Bunch of those songs that I hadn’t heard. - deffo gonna look em up
This guy is crazy good!! beyond me why anyone would vote to dislike
I wasn't expecting 6:00 by Dream Theater. You put a smile on my face when you played it. This is one of the sickest intros of all time.
Also Honor Thy Father
Stunning! Stellar job man!!! Nice foot and arm work! Keep rockin'!
Maaaaaaannn!!!! you have to keep doing videos!! you're the best!
