Another great vehicle. Very cool for a big "van". I had a 1978 F-100 had loved it. I go for the simple things such as back up lights. I like huge back up lights so I can see what's behind me and not so much that someone behind me sees me backing up. An oil gauge would be a good idea.
Hi Lauren, As a former auto industry professional on the retail side of things I wanted to compliment you on the quality and completeness of your reviews. I enjoy and appreciate them very much. This review in particular held my interest solely based on your discussion of the possibilities to custom configure it and the attention to the many practical features it can and does have. I actually start thinking about its use as a mini-home. That from someone who has never come close to thinking of owning such a vehicle. In that spirit I pose a question. Wouldn't this type of vehicle make infinitely more sense and have far more broad appeal if it featured at least a hybrid version, if not full Electric? I look forward to your response when you have the time, and wish you the great success you deserve in this category.
From your perspective, doesn't the fact that there are numerous mistakes identifying the vehicle (and then later comparing it to competitors os the absent vehicle) kill credibility?!
@@cpwalsh6245 I am certainly NOT an authority on such a vehicle. If you could be more specific as to the "numerous mistakes" I'd appreciate it. However I'd say that the question you raise is most definitely a valid one and may indicate the necessity (as I see it) to search out other reviews and compare what you see to get a better overall picture. A reviewer can make a mistake or two of course and that has taught me never to accept everything I hear if from only one person. Lauren Fix usually provides detailed and useful information so I wouldn't necessarily consider her unreliable in general based solely on one review. If you would permit me I would direct you to the most overall knowledgeable and professional car reviewer I've found; "Alex on Autos" does an excellent job in my opinion and manages a bit of a dry sense of humor to go along with it. His videos are somewhat lengthy but you get lots of useful and detailed information, though I haven't seen him review this particular vehicle. If you are actually in the market for a new vehicle I sincerely wish you good luck. Take the time to really know the product that works best for you and don't take any one person's opinion as necessarily gospel. Have a Happy and Safe New Year!

I'll also take your suggestion to heart. My criticism reflects the mistakes in identification only (including "Connect" while standing next to the Transit and then comparing to the competition of the Connect). We all make mistakes but I would've re-shot that portion of yhe video because these are all up front and on the ethos-pathos-LOGOS front, the latter is lost. No disrespect to the producers, just surprising.

The Transit Connect is smaller. But its still a very good van nonetheless.
I clarified that in an earlier comment. The Transit impressed us, we were expected a boring drive, it was a pleasant surprise.

How quiet is the transit 150 AWD? Are the walls and ceiling insulated?
The Transit's interior is quiet at highway speeds from road noise.
The gas mileage is really good for such a large vehicle.
