Thanks for another video. You truly do a great job and I have learned a ton from watching your videos. Located in CT and a bunch of guys out this way are discovering your stuff. Good luck my friend and keep em coming.
Man, this was exactly me last night. I just couldn't see my lines, missing all kinds of shots I normally would make. I'm quitting pool as of yesterday LOL!! Cool videos, Josh. Keep up the good work.
We all have slumps. I am trying to pull myself out of an almost full session slump after not playing in league for a while. Even the pro's do. Carlo Biado wasn't playing well at the UK Open today while trying to come back from his illness. All the pro's have had bad tournaments where they didn't play well. They usually bounce back faster as they play every day.
Settling in to watch now. I had it out with Little Timmy Monday, he wouldn't stop and I lost my cool. I looked at my teammate, the table and said tough actin tinactin here. He said shortrail huh, and I said uh huh! Ended up with Top Shot on Monday, fortunately I had it locked up, because it's been an ugly week.
Josh, didn’t know if you new this rule, but in TAP, if the balls are within or less than a piece of chalk, as long as you jack up and “attempt” to put draw on the cue ball, even if you double hit the cue ball it is not a foul.
I am definitely in a slump, my Wednesday night team, I’m 1-12, every match has gone to the hill, so I’m not super upset about it, but DAMN MAN!!! I just want to get some wins.
6:37 "...hit it a little bit firm." That's a little bit firm? That ball was zipping so much all over that table that Wyle E Coyote was chasing it, lol I do enjoy picking on lil Timster, lol
I'm glad you are out of your slump in the real world and it's not like you played terribly here, just a shot here and there. What I"m wondering is if you do something to get out of a slump, or just suck it up and push threw until it clears itself up?
I'm really confused here. Ian made two stripes on the break and then played a safety. How did he not end up married to them. You shot a solid and made it but scratched. He shot a combo on the stripes but missed and then you shot stripes. How does that happen?
I guess that makes sense since it's tap league. I've just never heard of tap before. I'll have to do some research to find out what other differences there are other than regular apa 8 ball.
GI Joe :). how about a name change Josh, Amateur pool by Disney LOL. family time. its funny I know for you this is hard being in a slump. but for me watching, i keep thinking damn i wish i could shoot this good. i am just not there yet. but i am coming for you Josh, i will get there. Keep your head high and thanks again for the vids.D
I've been in a slump many times lol. The best way for me to work through it is to focus on my preshot routine. And not think too much about whether I am making balls. Just go through the process. Smooth stroke. Stay down. Etc. Also try to hit the ball soft. Especially on these Diamonds. With the deep ledges and the rail cut angle balls tend to rattle. Slow is better. From these last couple of videos you are definitely hitting your shots way too hard. Slow down.

Thanks, Drew!
"I'm not gonna cuss, this is a family channel." Over to "he's fingering the pocket, idk what he's doing."😂
Glad to see you're back Josh after the apa mess.
@@skarlock2569 lmaooooo.. thanks, bro! Glad to be back
Lol! Maybe 5 seconds before you said don't be checking the time guys, I checked the time left on the video! Too funny. We must think alike.
Lol

Thanks, man! I either hate this game or love this game.. not much in-between, lol
Thanks for the videos
Love them
Thanks for watching them! I appreciate it!
always happy to pop on youtube and see a new AP upload
Thanks, Nick! I'm working hard to get more of them out, more often!
What state do you play in?
Michigan
Getting nostalgic about yesteryear. Too young for that.
🤣😂. I don't feel young!
You are good. I was just about to check the time when you spoke up. You’re definitely a better shooter than these latest videos. Focus Danielson.
Watch my new video.. it's a little better

I didn't, but i do now. Thanks
@@Amateur_Pool it actually says an “honest attempt”
Double tapping the cue ball should always be a foul

@@Amateur_Pool I get that, is what it is!

I wish, Steve.. I try to put in more practice time, if I can. Ultimately, I just push through it.
tough cut shot miss , hope my team mates see this and realize the expectation can be tough

Open after the break in tap. It's not make it take it

@@nutronman tap is basically modified BCA
I'm taking a session off from league due to a really bad slump. I'm working on drills and shooting much better. The break is good.
Ya, sometimes it helps to take a break!
Go Joe!
real American hero!
What’s up my friend hope you doing well
Whaddup, Jesse! I'm hanging in there my man! Thanks :)
The struggle bus is real!. You breaking with your playing que makes you tip hard. That may be affecting your play
Possibly..
Where you the one looking for an orange shirt?

You better put some time in at the table my friend or your going to get knocked down to a 5 lol
No kidding
weren't u a 7 before
In apa, yes. I went to a 7 in tap, but only for a week or 2
Holy crap that was a shtshow Josh, I'm gonna unsub if you don't shoot better.
Ooof.. harsh bro.. harsh 😳
Hey man calm down! It's Amateur pool here not the pros. I enjoy seeing Josh play, good or bad, because that's the way 99% of us amateurs play.
