Yes. Waving goodbye to every creator ever just because you can is a bad business model
It can be cool, look like a chad move in the short term, but when push comes to shove if people actually up and leave for money and not for prestige… yeah, twitch will suffer lol
I watch twitch still but I also find myself watching more Live UA-cam channels, chat could be better but I’m not exclusive to twitch… so twitch ain’t special. It acts special, acts entitled, acts stupid, but it’s not special.
Twitch can be killed within 2 years if they act dumb

This is how business works and a lot of the nerds that run these companies don’t have true business knowledge. that doesnt apply to this situation, most people never even come close to being able to get a deal in the first place, people need to not be fooled into thinking this is about anything other than money. hence the whole reason YT is fighting hard to scalp streamers. when things finally even out, people will be right back to the charade of thinking they are being "cheated" and "they" being the guys that are even able to get contracts

@@lsdxhostile8245 Are you talking about streamers or other occupations? Coz in other occupations at least in the west, you can have a job and then keep looking for a better one and eventually do what Lud did. This has happened many times in my circle. People just settle for a job but that's their choice and if they have a degree they should keep looking for the ideal one or at least pressure the current employer for better work conditions. Of course its about the money. That's why we are working. But if you are Ludwig who broke some grounds in streaming and the platform didn't think it was a big deal then it's understandable to leave for a better pay. Coz at the end of the day, he was right. They didn't care enough while youtube did. Its not like Twitch doesn't have the money for Lud's contract it's just that they didn't care enough to offer him that money. Being one of the biggest streamers while not being paid as such is just like being one of the best money bringers on a shity salary. That's what any of us would do.

They are in the process of building their streaming talent. Of course they are all ready to wine and dine. Twitch basically controls that streaming market. Of course they could care less if one creator leaves here or there

UA-cam done the best decision in recent years for their business by getting ludwig. He's a catalyst for a lot of streamers as well as viewers to UA-cam. They also got truffle cause of Otto (should hire that guy ngl)
