He's not funny but Because a major winner thinks he can tutor golf as if to children. A lot of talking but all just rambling. Go watch Pete Cowen if you serious about golf instruction
Definitely need an extended version. This was amazing to listen to. Hearing him talk about feels for shots is so helpful. Makes you think about the game a lot more.
The man is so enthusiastic for the game, its fantastic. Love listening to him. If you're not watching and listening to one of the best players ever, you're not really interested in improving I think 😂
Out of all the golf videos I have watched on UA-cam (or any platform) this is without doubt the best. The amount of advice in such a short space of time is staggering. Thank you Sir Nick and me and and my golf for this!
I've watched this dozens of times - it's my go to video to watch just before I play. He makes it all sound so simple. Thanks for making this guys, keep up the great work.
Professionals in every sport make it look easy, that's why they are professionals, the thing that amazes me is amateurs watch UA-cam videos like this and think they can do the same.
@@petermartinaitis8166 Not being argumentative one of the best was an amateur, you know Bobby Jones the tag doesn’t make you better understanding what to do does most professionals have coaches who do what many UA-cam bloggers do. However you are correct most folks will not see dramatic improvement although my buddy who watches avidly had 5 birdies today in 9 holes and the day before he had 2 birdies and one eagle again in 9 holes.
Sandy Lyle for me. Loved Seve as well. Nick is a true great of the game. My three favourite players, along with Norman, Nicklaus and Payne Stewart. 80s and 90s were great days.
What an insight for us Am's from one of the Golfing Greats, when Sir Nick Faldo says..'All the Guys (Tour Players) on the range, all they are working on is Grip, Posture, Alignment..I promise you'. That's the 'secret sauce'...so simple yet quite profound. Great video Guys.
What a treat! Ironically, back in his prime, everybody thought Nick was so technical and a robot, but the reality was he was always one of the greatest feel players golf's ever seen!
Someone needs to capture all of Sir Nick’s Knowledge, and put it together for us mere mortals to learn from over time. Every video I see of him hitting balls, or talking about the game are SO informative.
That was amazing! He is a legend as many have said, did anyone notice how flexible sir Nick was with every shot!!! No tension at all. Relaxed and positive something so many should pay A LOT of attention to. Well done guys truly BRILLIANT. If only it could be hours long.
Wow wow wow…I am so jealous. Sir Nick Faldo is the reason why I started playing golf and I wish I could turn back the clock and watch him playing in his prime
Sir Nick is that rare combination of ability to perform and talent for teaching. “Make practice swings with speed” is great advice as part of visualizing a shot with intention.
Nick Faldo was on the top of his game when I was starting out and so he has always been a hero of mine. His passion and intelligence came across so well in this, I loved it. Thanks.
Liam Neeson always reminded me of Nick Faldo. ‘I do have are a very particular set of skills, skills I have acquired over a very long career, skills that make me a nightmare for people like you.”
Great vid. He was immense, 6 majors in a very competitive era. He and Seve led the way for European golf. I love his stories on his golf commentary too😂
Sir Nick, one of the greatest golfers ever. Approached the game from a technical point of view 30+ years ago! All modern pro's are now so technically minded. Sir Nick lay the Groundwork.
A true legend of the game who has developed into a great communicator of the game. Keeps it simple and straightforward . Most of his training videos are only a couple of minutes long but in that short period of time he tells you all you need to know and with a perfect demonstration.
Sir Nick is your best guest on your channel by a long way.Talking intelligently about with how he used to practice, and what pros do now, and what the amateurs should do. I could watch a couple of hours of him teaching, no problem..Great vid, well done guys.
I use to thick Nick was a little snobbish when he was a player.. But after listening to him as a commentator I realized what a nice guy he was . I love listening to him whenever he giving instruction. A class act .. what a wealth of knowledge
Absolutely love Sir Nick. When I started playing almost 25 years ago one of the tips I received was to develop a pre shot routine, maybe copy one of your favorite player. It was Sir Nick for me.
Welcome to Nick Faldo's UA-cam channel. The first time where Piers and Andy didn't have much to say. Nick is very passionate when it comes to golf. This was fun to watch.
I think they did a great job by letting him speak and explain and show his passion; it's a wise man who knows when to be quiet. Good job guys, that was a very good vid.
Sir Nick Faldo is a really great instructor. It's wonderful to see that a great pro has the desire to help other normal golfers. I really admire him for that. Good going Nick and thank you!
This...Is...AWESOME!!! Nick Faldo is THE MAN! Love his simple approach to the game and his ability to translate it in a way that totally makes sense to us mere mortals!
Probably the best instructional overview of how to improve your golf game I've ever seen. Great job just letting Nick Faldo talk, with just the right amount of editing..
Golden nuggets for sure. It is nice t see how Nick plays by feel, how he figured out all this, and how he can show us. Today we have too many electronic devices that show us where we end up, but not how to feel how to correct it.
Love Nick Faldo I've learnt more in five minutes of information now I'm banging that ball with more relaxed control amazing sir nick faldo thankyou legendary golfer 💕💖💯👍
Best lesson from an absolutely great player - I was watching the interview on the putting green hes in good shape - had the pleasure of Nicks company for a day picking him up from Sunningdale after European Open and driving him to Saunton Sands and back - unreal!
Love him! I saw him in like 1997 live and walked next to him. Crazy to see that he looks hardly any different after all this time. He looked "a bit older" back then and now looks a bit younger than he is. He is one of those people who always looks the same...
Usually I dismiss tips that give me too much positional information to think about. But Nick made this more about FEEL, along with the information that corresponds with the feeling. Now THAT makes sense to my tiny brain. I'm excited to try this on the range. Good job boys!
Starting up golf in the late 80’s I never has lessons but did two things, read the Jack Nicklaus instruction book over and over again and then watched Nick Faldo whenever I could both in TV and live tournament.. no wonder he was a great of the game.. quality.. 👍👍
The Coolest Dude in golf, I learnt to play from one of his video tapes with David Ledbetter, back in the early 90's. Always enjoy his commentaries and it's great to see him still swinging so well.
Sir Nick needs a youtube channel and a cameraman. Everything he says is insightful and easy to implement which is rare in a game where the "experts" are trying to complicate everything.
watched Sir Nick play a hole with Jazzy Golfer and now a lesson with you. he seems to be a great guy. this was a great video with many insights. I would like to see him do this a Fanny offering some comments.

Why do so many UA-camrs and others tend to link Apple podcast links when 73% of users are Android?
The best things about Sir Nick is the simplicity of his instruction and a great sense of humor.

He comes across as a great guy
Sir Nick is just so good and the way he talks, it just makes sense. Still a winner and one of the best ever..

One pro I would truly love to play a round of golf with.
Sir Nick: Funny, articulate, intelligent and a true gent.
agreed, but why would he want to play with us, when his caddy is a scratch golfer.....he might ask us to fetch some range balls...or a drink...
Heard you could pay for it but not allowed to talk to him during round and it costs a LOT! shame really as legend of sport
😂😂 That’s ridiculous. It’s like paying to be humiliated.
LOL. I love that Sir Nick asked the question we've all wanted asked. Thanks Sir Nick 😀

Probably my favorite session with you guys. What a magnificent way to explain practice on the range. I watch everything I can that has Nick teaching
What a treat! Ironically, back in his prime, everybody thought Nick was so technical and a robot, but the reality was he was always one of the greatest feel players golf's ever seen!
I think Leadbetter didn't help. He was the king of technicality
That would be Seve. Faldo was the opposite and Leadbetter eventually destroyed him by making such a big man hit it so short.
