Thank you so so much for not adding background music. It is such a joy to hear the sound of silence and to hear only the natural sounds of people moving around and the soft sounds of nature, the grasshopper, etc. Well done! Groet from Amsterdam
Wow, qué buena edición, hermosa estética. De la práctica que ella hace, me quedo con la gran duda de que si lo que usó por sobre las flores es papel. Luce como papel, tal vez sea un plástico.
I don’t know but you are right that is part of why it was so breathtaking when she revealed the results! I wonder if it is because the pigment in the flowers is so powerful.

Hi Jenny, I definitely hear you, lol. The funny thing is that I made this only to be a preview of my documentary about this person and her lifestyle, not as a tutorial. It’s wonderful that so many people who are interested in learning this craft have found this video, and I regret that I cannot help in the how-to department. Luckily I think there are many other great tutorials on UA-cam. If you find an excellent one that answers the questions left from this one, will you post it? That will help redirect people who are looking to learn the techniques and I might even put it in the description. Thank you very much for watching!
Hello, thank you for watching! Jennifer does have an online shop on her website. Here is a link and you can find contact information for her there as well: plantspiritfibers.com/products Best to you!
I believe it was a steamer she put it in and she does not use any chemicals. You can visit her website in the description for more information. Thank you for watching!
I don't believe it ever fades with washing, sorry for late reply. Did you have any luck? You can visit her website in the description for more information. Thank you for watching!
@@landfoodcraft it’s cool. I tried on linen it kinda worked but our humidity in my country the insects would try to live on the stain I think it’s it pigments. Planning to add vinegar so the color will be vibrant and hope stick permanently on the fabric.

Hello, I hope you were able to find other videos that have more instruction because I think there are many. I made this more as a portrait of an artist, less of an instructional. You can visit her website in the description for more information. Thank you for watching and good luck with your crafting!
Hi Melony, thanks for watching! Sorry that this is not meant to be an instructional video, just a moment in the life of this artist. I think there are many instructional videos on this technique by other UA-cam creators, thankfully. Good luck!
I think you are referring to the steamer. I don’t remember how it was powered but it creates concentrated steam so that the pigments of the plants can bind to the fabric. I’m just the observer so don’t quote me on how it works! :) Thanks for watching.

¡Gracias por ver! Creo que era un papel encerado, como papel de pergamino / papel para hornear, no estoy seguro de cómo se llama en español.
Hermoso trabajo señora,👍🇨🇱

Wonderful, congratulations ... and how is the result, can you wash the cloth?
Muy bueno gracias 😊 como fue el proceso en dónde lo metiste en el horno a baño María ...por favor será posible que me puedas decir.... gracias ☺️
Hi I enjoyed watching your video and found it fascinating. Did you use grease proof paper? Thank you for sharing your wonderful skill s
THOSE PRINTS WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
IF I COULD GET SOMETHING LIKE THAT ON PAPER.
💜 CAMILLE 🇦🇺
I'm sure you can. Have you ever pressed flowers? Look it up. The pressed flowers are pretty and some will leave an imprint on paper.
Do you soak flowers in vinegar and rust before placing it this way?
What flowers and leaves work best?
Is it baking paper? Also when you put it in the barrel . Is it heated? & about how long??Love the ideas & inspirations!
Just beautiful ❤🍀
Qué hermoso!! Felicitaciones!!
How wonder beautiful it is!
So nice
Magical ❤️
Very beautiful! I was intrigued by the lighter prints on darker background, like how is that possible?

So, does the print in the cloth remains forever or disappears when washing? Just curious
Forever and ever :)
@@landfoodcraft ah good to know. Thanks !

No. You have to add mordant( before) and fixing (after)… otherwise it will disappear/evanescence…

Has any chemical been used? Will the color last longer? What can be done with clothes?
