Can u tell me about the first music used in your video
Just a tip * if u use a rubber mallet & strike in an upward motion it helps by leaving more oil & chlorophyll (green color) from the leaf on the fabric for a more permanent "stain". U can also use fresh off the tree fall leaves but make sure they're really moist & full of oil so the pretty fall colors will show on ur fabric & stain. The more oil & moisture the better the stain🌿🍀🍁🍂🌱

en el min 3:38 aparece el letrerito abajo a la derecha, el liquido del frasco es VINAGRE; en el min 4:06 dice que remojes la pieza en el agua y la dejes por una hora. Si quieren comprobarlo den clic en los numeritos azules de mi comentario y los llevara al momento del video en que esta haciendo la demostracion!

Beautiful, thank you, why did you place the leaf upwards (the vein up to palstic not to fabric)? may I know the reason, and did you soak the leaves into some solution before placing on the shirt?...i'm just learning about this eco pounding .. thank you

Hola! Después de hacer la impresión, remojan la camiseta en vinagre blanco, asi fijan el color, también se puede fijar planchando la camiseta después de hacer la impresión

No bleach will remove all the stain.u can use salt n instead of vinegar.

Really pretty. A tip..cover a piece of wood or cardboard with plastic then slide the shirt over it. Also to really keep the color on after you print and remove the leaves use an iron on the top or throw it in the dryer.

@@deby7821 , I also had this question. I think Denali means the stage where you soak it in vinegar. In other words, do you iron it before or after the vinegar stage? Thanks!
@@TempfromChiswick 1. If you use the vinegar soak then before soaking I would iron it with plain white paper on top of the print and no steam and then soak it, wring it well and throw in the dryer . , of course you will have to rewash gently to remove the vinegar smell.
2nd choice without the vinegar soak is to place some plain white paper on the print and iron all over the print Without steam, then throw it in the dryer for about 20-25 minutes to really set the print. IMPORTANT FOR both ideas make sure you add white paper between the two layers before ironing so that the print doesn't bleed through to the back of the shirt.Hope this helps.

Not permanent.. it's only bear for months , except you didn't use chemical soap to wash it

hi! im from mx and i dont know the word in english but here we say ALUMBRE to a stone that you put in hot water to disolve and then put your clothes. after 2 hours you take it of the water. and then you start all the process that is here in the video. This stone helps the fabric recieve better the colors :)
How much alumber can be used in 2 liters of water for soaking the fabric?? And how to remove the smell of vinegar after soaking it at last??

It pleases me a lot. My query is to know how long the clorophyl stays on the fabric.
no. need to scour fabric first (means wash it thoroughly and removing any residual oils, grease, detergents etc scour with washing soda and boiling/simmering for 1-2 hrs...then need to pre-mordant with a protein based substance such as soy milk. Most man made fibres need a pre mordant (sometimes not but mostly it does) especially for cotton types or heavy cotton t-shirts such as the one in this video. This is so that the plant colour bonds to proteins in the pre-mordanted fibers and giving more longevity, than you need to use a mordant to "fix" those colors and this will change the colour. Steam method is the best for this, pounding colour into fabric fibers are not always effective unless you pound with a properly prepared garment/fabric (ie scoured, pre-mordant soak, mordant + don't wash final product leave it for at least 1-2 weeks before washing) and the final wash should be rain water + the most gentle detergent or handmade gentle laundry soap or even sapponin based plants. Using commercial detergents are harsh and these plant dyed fabrics will fade over time. The proper way is actually quite an arduous task...not for the faint hearted. good luck.

matte fabric medium ( use 2-
3 coats) let it dry and then
iron it to heatset it, I think
it will last a couple of years.
