- In this video, I take original KORG Kronos that wouldn't boot and had horrible keybed damage pout of a trash pile and bring it back to life...
I documented the entire process from start to finish. ... the what's and why.
This is one of my proudest keyboard accomplishments. It's a Kronos, plus I figured it out on my own.
Enjoy!
Good job man!!!! Today, 2023, Korg Kronos is again the best workstation. Really impressed! Congratulations!
I appreciate the kind words. Makes me smile to hear that from someone else. Lol
Stay connected. More goodies on the way! 💪🏾
@@JuliusDeBerryJr yes! I do!
Enhorabuena. Buen Trabajo. Buena máquina con una nueva vida. Yo poseo uno, el Kronos 2. Desde España, un abrazo.

Awesome video! Not gonna lie, I’m kinda jelly you found one for so cheap. I have a K2 61. Best keyboard I’ve ever owned
Cheap is kinda an understatement.... Don't you think🫣. It was risky though. 🥴
Nice! I got 3 Kronos! Those are keepers. One of a kind! The world might never see a powerful keyboard like that ever again
I'm with you! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾... but I think we have one that's been introduced. We will see if it stands the test of time though.
Wow! That’s crazy!! Yeahh Let me try to get my hands on a Kronos now..!
😆😆😆
@@JuliusDeBerryJr Im forreal! Even if I can find one in that condition you got yours in, if you can do it, then it’s possible!! 😂😂😂
The fact that you actually got parts from korg is amazing!
There are a few places that you can get Korg parts from online. At least 2.
awesome! love bringing synths back from the abyss!
Beyond awesome! I'm super proud of this one.
:)))))@@JuliusDeBerryJr
I still have my original KRONOS 73, one owner. I will not part with it.
Very interesting. Did you ever have the keybed changed out on it way back in the day?
I also have a Kronos 88 original owner. I feel the same way. Lol. It's a forever board. Very nostalgic for a lot of reasons.
@@JuliusDeBerryJr Mine is from the very first batch and it's the only board I've ever pre-ordered, with a low serial number. I have never changed my keybed, it never had any issues such as the "double-strike" that plagued the first release as far as I could tell I have never been able to duplicate it.
Wow that's awesome. I got my Kronos about 2 months or so after they came out. It has a low serial number as well. I'll check it and repost.
My Kronos 88 OG is serial #'d 1229.
The 73 OG repaired in this video is #3138
@@JuliusDeBerryJr My Kronos 73 is #168
✌✌✌👍👍👍
What's up man! Thanks for watching!
КрассафффЧик ваЩе мощный 🎉
Not sure what this means
How much was the new key action from Korg?
Can the original be upgraded to the current model?
No. I don't believe so. The part is different and the connector that connects it to the rest of the machine is not the same.
It's called the Boot support board.
