    This makes me happy because it gives me hope that Korg might be working on the new Korg Kronos and I couldn't be happier!

      I was just telling a friend last night that it would look crazy good in a contemporary styled house as a "furniture" piece but still a grand piano in the room. (Like people still have)

      Definitely. I'm looking to replace a cheap console piano that my boys have been learning on (a '80s Sherman Clay), and a decent Kawai or Yamaha upright is $11k out of the gate. This has beautiful piano sounds, and all the other sound engines make it so much more fun than your standard digital piano. Even at $3k, it's a steal compared to buying an acoustic piano, and it looks hot! If the weighted keys feel good, I'm sold on this for my music room.@@JuliusDeBerryJr

    I am waiting for KORG Acoustic Synthesizer phase 5, that appers to be a jump in Technology, like from Triton to OASYS or To KRONOS.

    Gonna be a tough sell when used nautilus going for 1700. I got a b stock from korg with warranty for like 1750 tax and shipped. They prolly have some new pianos and eps though , korg often will say " sgx or ep1 engines" and they will sound completley different kinda like roland and supernatural

      Always something to consider!!! But what's interesting is all the people that are out there who just want to play and leave all the technical stuff alone... Something like this could be perfect for them. Just power on and go!!! Easy to layer. Easy to split. And great sounds.
      Should be interesting. Nautilus is a great board too!

      @@JuliusDeBerryJr the nautilus is definatley for deep divers, perfect name!! Your right , that is an appeal of stage pianos . I have a ck61 i take to open mic and the thing rips right out of the box

    Breh, I fall asleep as soon as I don't see 9 faders grouped together on any "stage piano" 🛌

    • @JuliusDeBerryJr
      @JuliusDeBerryJr  6 місяців тому

      Interesting....
      Why do you need 9 faders on a stage piano?

    • @SixteenVoice
      @SixteenVoice 6 місяців тому +1

      @@JuliusDeBerryJr The standard for stage piano are Nord Stage 4, Roland RD-2000, and Yamaha YC. If you aren't giving those a real run for their money in features, then there is nothing to talk about for me and all three of those give you drawbar emulation so why get excited for less?

    • @JuliusDeBerryJr
      @JuliusDeBerryJr  6 місяців тому +4

      @SixteenVoice because to me there's more to keyboards than faders. But if that's all that excites you, I can't argue otherwise. Lol. I there there is a lot more than faders to consider here and even with those boards... Faders are definitely necessary no argument there but I just can't agree than anything without 8-9 should be ignored.

      It’s an interesting board for sure. Hands-on interface, piano-aimed keybed, 3 layers, no drawbars… it’s a bit comparable to the Yamaha CP88 in that way. But this one has some drum/bass accompaniment (like some Yamaha digital pianos), way more sounds, and… whether you dig it or not: the looks on this one are something else.

      @@JuliusDeBerryJrEs geht um Zugriegelmodulation! Und ja, diese Fader sind enorm wichtig für natürliches Orgelspiel!

    I'm not really impressed.
    In 2018 Korg released the Vox Continental virtual stage organ/piano 61/73 keys. Apart from the 88 hammer keys, it's almost the same. It has the exact same 7 sound engines, the XLR outputs, the Key-touch knob (called Dynamics), split and layer, the Nutube, stackable reverb, delay and more fx and on top of that 9 LED faders that serve as drawbars, EQ or to tweak the synthsounds. And it looks beautiful!
    So, hardly something new here. It looks like Korg just put their old technology in a new ugly (to my taste) shell and sell it for to much cash. That's what I call a rip off, there's far better alternatives for a 88 hammer stage piano.
    You work hard for your money, don't waste it so easily...... 😉

    Minimum should be 4 layers on a stage piano. Korg dropped the ball on this one.

    • @JuliusDeBerryJr
      @JuliusDeBerryJr  6 місяців тому +1

      Smh..... ALOT to factor in man... 128 voices of polyphony... More faders they give y'all the more people will be screaming about voices dropping. Lol.

      @@JuliusDeBerryJr I liked the original grand stage. But i would have loved this to compete with the stage 4, yc, and rd2000. It just feel like they combined the grand stage and the sv to make this baby.

    • @JuliusDeBerryJr
      @JuliusDeBerryJr  6 місяців тому +3

      This is a tall statement to make, but I believe it can complete with them.
      Basing it on faders missing is pretty closed minded... I know they are important. But they can't be the end all be all.
